Hey, it sounds like you received a trade punishment for failing to complete the steps in our trading process correctly. I'm sorry that happened to you, however, when trading on our site it's required to complete your portion of the trade process correctly or you risk losing out on the skin and funds.

If you complete the steps correctly, you will never have an issue with our system. If you think this was applied incorrectly, please reach out to our 24/7 on-site support team who will be able to review that for you.

Here's some more information on the P2P system:

We aren't able to track trades automatically via Steam since we don't currently use session hijacking. We rely on a manual system where the buyer and seller must confirm or dispute the trades on our site.

This includes marking the item as sent if you are the seller, or marking the item as received or disputed if you are the buyer. That needs to be done within the time limits for the trade, to resolve the trade successfully. For auction trades, the timer is currently 30 minutes for each side. For non-auction trades, the timer is currently 12 hours for each side.

Hey, although I'm sorry to see the negative review, I wholeheartedly agree with this comment that you made; "stay away kids".
All users must be over the age of 18 and of the legal age to gamble in their location to play on our site.

When first signing up to the site, users have to confirm their age through an initial KYC check, confirm they agree to our Terms and Conditions which state they must be over 18 and of the legal age to gamble in their location, and finally through another final confirmation that they are over the age of 18.

If you are aware of anyone bypassing these checks please let our 24/7 on-site support know immediately so we can apply restrictions until a full KYC check is completed.

I'd also like to address your comment about being addicted to gambling. Gambling should only ever be a source of entertainment, if it goes past that and stops being fun at any point please either apply a ban to your account yourself through your profile page or reach out to our support team to place one for you.

It sounds like it may have reached that point for you so I'd recommend searching online for gambling addiction support groups in your area and also checking out tools such as https://gamban.com/ which is a tool that blocks gambling sites at a device level, including us at Empire.

Hey, I'm sorry to hear about your experience with the P2P trading system, whilst you may have seen this issue being caused by the site being buggy, this was likely down to you failing to complete the trading process correctly from your description of the issue. It's worth knowing that you are always trading with another real person's account when trading on our site.

Whilst we always attempt to recover items that are sent incorrectly or funds from failing in the P2P system it isn't always possible where those funds have already been used.

When a trade is marked as sent by a seller, you as the buyer have 30 minutes from that point to mark that trade as received or disputed. Both the seller and buyer get 30 minutes to complete their sides of the trade in an auction trade. That changes to 12 hours each for a non-auction trade.

Hey, I'm sorry to see this happen. This has been discussed with you at length through our 24/7 on-site support team and also through e-mail. Whilst I understand you are unhappy with the decision not to refund you, we wouldn't be able to make exceptions to our rules and Terms of Service.

As you mentioned in your review, since there is no way for us to know if the bet you placed was intentional or not, refunding it would equate to risk free betting. Had you won that bet the chances of you contacting us to return the money you won by accident would be non existent. Refunding any losses there would take away the risk of the bet and be highly abusable.

I appreciate the frustration you feel at your mis-click, however it would be the same at any gambling site or casino you visit, you're ultimately responsible for the amount you're betting and making sure that you're happy before placing the bet. I spoke to you at the time in your support ticket, unfortunately as we discussed then, we aren't able to return any funds that were wagered on the site, as per our Terms of Service, which you can read here: https://csgoempire.com/tos

Hey, this is your third one star review stating the same thing, please respond with the information I have requested in my responses previously or reach out to on-site support so we can help further.

Here is my response again for you, we aren't able to cancel a user's match betting wagers on request.

If the odds were incorrect on any match you bet on, the bet would have been voided and you would have been refunded.

There is an option to 'accept all odds changes' which you can enable when placing bets, it's possible that you had that option enabled if you thought you were placing your bet at slightly different odds.

It sounds as if you've spoken to our support team about this already, what they told you in your conversation with them would likely be correct as per our site's rules, you can review our match betting rules here: https://csgoempire.com/match-betting/rules

It's also worth noting that if you do ever see any issues with a bet, you should reach out as soon as you notice them and not wait until the bet has been lost to reach out and request a refund.

You don't give us your login information for Steam, it's likely that you logged into a scammer's phishing site or clicked on a scammer's link that stole your login information. Hey, I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your funds there, ultimately however, this happened due to you failing to complete the trading process correctly, I'd recommend always having a back-up device where you can complete your trades, such as your mobile phone, in case of loss of internet.

Support would have explained this to you in your conversation with them, however, I'll break it down again here for you.
