Cuba Travel was excellent with our tours. Amanda went out of her way to help us out. I highly recommend Cuba Travel.

Amanda from Cuba Travel Network went above and beyond to make our trip smooth and memorable. We had an amazing time and not so much as a hiccup in our plans. The hotels were (mostly) fantastic. The one outside of Trinidad was less than spectacular but we also booked our trip less than a week before we flew out so most of the hotels in Trinidad were booked already. We rented a car and drove around which really let us see a lot of the country that we would probably have missed. When booking she was very quick to respond and we told her what we were looking for (and what we would like to cut out of the suggested self drive itinerary) and it was no problem. Amanda managed to throw our entire 2 week journey together in just a few days and it was nothing short of amazing! Top marks for Amanda and the Cuba Travel Network. I would highly recommend using them! Thanks for an amazing adventure! My only suggestion is that it is of some concern where Americans stay (as in what hotels due to who they are run by)...not a safety issue or anything like that, but maybe some problems with coming back into the US. Customs did not so much as ask me or my friend one question on where we stayed. I have had a few friends down there as well and there was literally zero issue coming back through customs so I wouldn’t worry about what hotels you guys place Americans in. It definitely was not an issue...at least for us. Thanks again for a fantastic journey!

From the moment we touched down in Havana to when we left Cuba everything went extremely smoothly. We were met at the airport and ushered through customs, given our welcome pack and taken to our hotel. We had private transfers and each time they were on time and polite.
Cuba Travel Network kept in touch with us each step of the way. We were so impressed and have no hesitation in recommending them. We received 5 star treatment.

Both our guide and driver were great. Very knowledgeable, agreeable. Made our day in Cuba pleasurable. Relaxing travel day.

Our trip to Cuba was greatly enhanced by CTN. This was our second visit to Cuba and having CTN arranging it meant we really got the most out of the trip. Transfers were smooth and the one tiny hiccup we had was swiftly sorted out by the friendly staff. We would like to thank Amanda for her efficiency and competence- she was super friendly as well. The thing with trying to travel in Cuba is that your holiday can become a bit of an endurance test- CTN took all the strain out of the occasion which meant all we had to do was enjoy ourselves. I can't recommend the company enough. We also can't wait to visit again...

We had a great first trip to Cuba, thanks especially to the exhaustive legwork of Amanda Maitland at Cuba Travel Network, who has in-depth knowledge of all the touring options as well as how things work in-country. If anything, we probably did too much! Our days were packed with interesting activities, sights and learning, and most importantly, wonderful people, and almost everything went according to plan. Excellent choices for accomodation and excursions based on our itinerary. Top service and smooth transfer arrangements throughout. In Havana and Trinidad we felt more like a family-members than tourists. A lifetime experience! Quicker response through initial correspondence recommended.

We worked with Amanda in organizing our recent trip to Cuba. She was extremely attentive and communicated with me about all the details of travel. She's extremely courteous and made sure that all decisions were made together and with clear understanding of what to expect. She demonstrated concern and awareness of the challenges of travel with two little kids and this was much appreciated! She continuously checked in on us during our travel as well which was thoughtful.

The airport process with Manuel was smooth - once we arrived and upon departure - it was super easy. He brought with him water and some CUC so that we could start the trip without much stress. I would recommend the airport transfer for any family traveling with young kids.

The tours were fantastic! We had Otto for our Havana tours - colonial and walk and drive. He was very nice and warm and went along with our pace. Amed for Vinales was quite dynamic and my husband was able to roll a cigar and all so that was quite fun! Eiser for our Trinidad tour was also really really good. He went out of his way to make sure our experience was unique - we mentioned that we had not tried mamey milkshake and he made it happen for breakfast the next day. The kids wanted a horse carriage ride and he arranged for it within the tour. He was very accommodating. Overall the tour guides were very knowledgeable. The casa in Trinidad was beautiful! We had plenty of room and were quite comfortable.

The trip included a variety of things - we saw the city and experienced the countryside, saw caves, mountains, waterfalls, the beach, and the UNESCO heritage sites. Food was delicious as well.

For a young family who were a little nervous about traveling to Cuba, Cuba travel network made the process comfortable and carefree. We were able to enjoy our vacation without worry. Could not have done that without Amanda!

we have had a very good experience with Cuba Travel Network from the beginning off. Elena did her Job very good and full attention. By the way everybody we have met of your organisation were very friendly and always on time .Unfortunately was Playa Larga less interesting for us and the car we rent was not all right. We were satisfied with de chosen accomodation except the accomodation" Ermita" in Vinales. Thanks for the caring way we were accompanied.

We had an amazing experience with Cuba Travel Network. Being a big group of friends and family from all over the world, we decided to book all the excursions ahead. Our agent was Odile, she made it very easy and quick to respond patiently to all our questions. I could feel she really loves her job and she did everything to make our experience extraordinary. We booked two excursions, one to Varadero and another one to Vinales. The tour guide Dayana and the driver Julio were always on time, very professional and we were able to learn more about Cuban history, culture, sing and dance while enjoying the beauty of Varadero beaches and the breathtaking views of Vinales. No wonder Cuba Travel Network has such a high ratings, their service is perfect. We are looking forward to come back and use their services. A BIG THANK YOU to them, Odile and their team! Excellent organisation from Cuba Travel Network. We found the welcoming service and the farewell assistance at the airport very pleasant and efficient. Overall a good service. Improvement can be made by suggesting the cuba map offline app for whom hiring a car. It is very difficult to drive around without it.

The friendly service before and during was very good, but see below for planning advice. The in-country staff are helpful and friendly with very good and useful local knowledge.
We had a 2.5 week self-drive tour of much of Cuba. Once in Cuba we realised that the arrangements were over ambitious with far too much driving. We had accepted the tour planning advice but found it inadequate and tiring once started. I am not sure that CTN has much experience of such long self-drive tours. The home stay accommodations were disappointing and we had to change some nights, at our own cost, to achieve an acceptable standard: the ones selected were more suitable for low cost 'backpackers' rather than those who could afford 15 days car rental. The in-country staff were most helpful in rectifying the accommodation standard, once we met up with them. In retrospect we realise we committed ourselves to too much, but were allowed to do so by CTN during the planning. Note that road quality can be very poor and normal time and distance calculations do not work in Cuba. No satnav is available, nor are there many road signs with none in towns. You MUST actively use maps.me app.

Cuba Travel Network were marvellous at all times during our 11 day journey around Cuba. They were at the airport to meet us off the plane and help through customs and passports and did the same on our departure. Daisy in Havana was very kind and efficient especially helping with the boarding cards when we were in Cayo Santa Maria. She arranged 2 excellent guides for us in Havana, and 1 in Viñales and 1 in Trinidad. The Cuba Travel Network representative in Trinidad was also most helpful. The car hire was also easy because of their input. The Welcome Bag was good, but perhaps a road map of Cuba would have been helpful as we found it difficult to find one .
All 4 of us who travelled together would not hesitate to recommend this company. Thanks also to Daniel in Amsterdam

All transfers were well arranged, although we would have liked to be informed that the pickup in our Havana hotel might be later than the time mentioned on the voucher. But nice drivers and great service by Manolito at the airport.

There was a problem at first with transportation. Amanda went above and beyond to make sure our family vacation went smoothly! It was a great trip and all the tours she had booked for us were excellent. We had an amazing job that my parents have been raving about how great it was to have it all organized prior to arrival. Thank you for making our family vacation run smoothly and letting us celebrate my dad's birthday with a big bang!

It was everything perfect, from waiting us to the airport, to the end. The hotels war very nice, a car rental was perfect. We had in Maria la Gorda two flat tyrs and the company sent one guy from Pinar del Rio to repair it. So, i would travel to Cuba again, I will cerntanly choose this company.
