Contributor on Culture.org Took Payment, Then Disappeared

I contacted a listed contributor on Culture.org about a sponsored placement. He offered a top position on an existing article, sent over a contract and invoice, and requested payment via crypto. Once payment was confirmed, he completely disappeared and blocked all communication.

No placement was made. No response from Culture.org so far.

I trusted the site because the contributor had a real author profile on their domain, which gave the impression of legitimacy. Unfortunately, it seems Culture.org’s contributor system is being abused, and there’s no real accountability in place.

Be extremely cautious when dealing with anyone connected to this site.
