The ceremony and wedding breakfast superb, however the accommodation was very dirty cobwebs dust just general not cleaned well for standard of accommodation. Breakfast was also very poor

We got married at Curradine Barns this week on 14.03.22 and the whole day was incredible. From beginning to end, nothing was too much trouble for the team at Curradine. Laura answered any and every question i had in the run up to the big day and, on the day itself, Emily made sure everything went smoothly and it was all just perfect. The food was amazing and we had so many compliments from our guests! We went for the midweek food package which was amazing value for money. We chose chicken and braised ham pie and mash and sticky toffee pudding - it went down a storm and the portion sizes were epic. The evening food was incredible too. The venue itself is beautiful and intimate and there were so many places to take amazing pictures! Everyone at Curradine Barns helped make our day so special and I really felt like they wanted the best for us and our day. I’m so glad we picked Curradine Barns for our wedding!

The reviews commenting that the venue charge suppliers a £150 fee - they do not do this. Once Curradine heard the feedback from suppliers when they announced this they scraped the fee straight away and apologised on the same day. My suppliers were more than happy to work at the venue and continue to do so you shouldn’t be put off by those reviews.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!

If your looking for an absolutely stunning venue then you’ve found it! But for the cost of the venue, which on average is about £3,000-£6,000 + an additional £100 per person for food, + civil ceremony charges + evening food charges. You would of thought for the amount their charging the service would be outstanding- They are the complete opposite!

How can you double book a wedding for the same date?!

My partner and myself booked our wedding with curradine barns, paid our deposit and “entered a legally binding contact” with themselves. Only to find out a few weeks later that they had made a mistake an had double booked our date!
All along we was told the date was ours as the error was on the behalf of the other couple. To then find out by the other couple that infact the date had been given back to them.

Curradine Barns completely waste our time, effort and money!

Honestly don’t waste your time!
Save your money and time and look elsewhere!

Greedy and selfish is all I can say. This venue want to charge suppliers a £150 admin fee to provide couples with services on their wedding day and a 10% commission fee. Stay well clear of this venue

Couples beware:
Just been made aware of the policy being introduced in January 2022 to charge a £150 fee to suppliers plus 10% commission fee of the Supplier to Customer invoice.
In some cases the suppliers/professionals will therefore be out of pocket.
(Eg Hairdresser, MUA charging £150 has to pay out £150 fee then £15 commission this venue).
Suppliers should also note that flexible access for set up, dismantle is only available to their ‘recommended suppliers’…who incidentally PAY to be recommended.
It’s an appalling business decision.

Many professional suppliers will not entertain this venue now. Future brides and groom please be aware if you book here you will not have a photographer, DJ, or any other supplier with any sense. They are charging £150 PER SUPPLIER unless or take a 10% commission from their preferred suppliers.
They are not looking out for the interests of their clients by choosing good suppliers who they trust and can honestly recommend like other venues, they are simply finding a way to add extra lining to their pockets after already charging the earth for their venue and services.

As a wedding DJ I was delighted with the layout, load in and the fab meal I was given but I shan't be working there again as they have decided to charge a £150 admin fee to use suppliers not on their "preferred suppliers" list - those guys pay 10% of every booking to the venue.

One way or another couples will suffer.

These guys are now shafting the already shafted.
After working at this venue previously they now want to charge me for working there. Yes you did read that right.
I have to pay the venue 10% of what I earn if I want to work there for one of our lovely Bride & Grooms.
Yes it’s been challenging but it’s been challenging for everyone.
Sort it out.

If you are looking for a wedding venue look no further than Curradine Barns. Our daughter'wedding was fantastic from start to finish. The families stayed in the Farmhouse on the night before and the night of the wedding. The rooms are first class and the Wedding Cottage for the happy couple is delightful. The whole day went without a hitch the staff at Curradine were always on hand to ensure everything flowed smoothly throughout. We cannot thank Laura, Judi and Jack enough. All the staff including housekeeping, waiting and bar staff were superb. The food was spectacular, well presented, hot and tasty, service was excellent. The venue itself has been developed to a very high standard and provided a great backdrop to the whole proceedings. Everyone at Curradine worked so hard from the moment our daughter and her fiancee first went to look round to ensure that they had the wedding they wanted. We cannot thank everyone at Curradine enough.
