Word of warning

Just a word of warning if you are ordering from Costco online,YOU HAVE TO BE A COSTCO MEMBER..I ordered not being a member it let me order ,took my money didn't deliver the goods.The order no should start with 7 ,mine didn't the payment should come under costco not CORINA ROSALIND she's a scammer, obviously you don't know this until after you ve ordered just beware,you have to be a member to order .

Couldn't give it zero unfortunately

Couldn't give it zero unfortunately! Received email telling me that my auto renew payment couldn't be collected and maybe my charging card was wrong/out of date etc. (which it wasn't) but I could update or pay manually - totally defeats the object of setting up auto renew! So after phoning and being rung back it appeared they couldn't help me but would transfer me where I could be - this was wrong and a waste of time as where I was transferred to didn't deal with my type of enquiry. So after being sent 3 times on the never ending roundabout of keypad entering I resorted to live chat (well 'live' after firstly wasting more time with Zowie the robot) I eventually chatted with a real person who several times repeated the mantra amounting to that's too bad do it manually or in store - not acceptable and after further strong insisting that I and them should want to know what went wrong I was promised an email answer within 48 hours so now have to wait and see what evolves from that! A Trust Pilot rating of 1.3 is a disgrace and should be embarrassing enough for Costco wanting to rectify this state of affairs but the only conclusion is they don't really care enough which is a great shame considering they have so many other trading aspects that are a real credit to them and an example for others to try and follow! For confirmation my online chat was with Marcus and I have downloaded the transcript.

Actually it was the lady Carl that I spoke to Yes her name is Carl k a r l and she was absolutely positively refreshingly professional and very very accurate she didn't need to have me repeat myself like some people do and she was extremely expeditious in getting my order shipped to me in record time no less. Household goods ordered online on 6 May…

Household goods ordered online on 6 May 2025 were delivered to the wrong address. Despite three follow-ups, I received no updates or status on my order. On the fourth attempt (on 27May25)—out of sheer frustration—I requested a refund. Let’s see how long that takes. Unfortunately, the customer service helpline was unhelpful and offered no support. A very disappointing experience overall.

Complete scam

Complete scam. After several emails I was given a tracking code and told order was shipped. Tracking code didn’t work and order never arrived. Asked for a refund but no reply.

Costco appears to have a total disregard to their customers

BEWARE! BEWARE! !BEWARE.*PLEASE SEE UPDATE*
Costco appears to have a total disregard to what a customer wants. They keep you waiting forever on the so called HELP! Line then ask you to press a number and they say they will call back, but the never do.
They a quick enough to take your money but delivery dates are not adhered to even when they say a delivery date you will be extremely lucky if you get it, that’s the experience I have found together with many others. I only wish I had looked at Trustpilot before giving them my money
Having eventually spoken to a very helpful Lady, she has now advised after I asked to cancel my order, surprisingly a message came through within 2 hours to say our order will be delivered tomorrow, I have also been offered a £10 voucher as a goodwill gesture. So not holding my breath until the delivery arrives. It obviously depends who picks up the phone on the other end when you phone.

Dreadful customer service

Dreadful customer service. I ordered a lawn mower on line. It wasn't delivered on the date scheduled and as I couldn't get hold of the shipping company I tried the on line chat facility which is totally useless. After an hour I finally got through to a call handler who promptly cut me off. After another long wait the second call handler said he would 'raise a ticket'. He insisted the lawn mower had been delivered when it had not. He promised to phone me back and never bothered. Ive since heard from the shipping company who say they have the lawn mower and will try and deliver it tomorrow. Be-warned Costco on-line has a completely different culture to the warehouses. I've been a customer of Costco for years and years. I will never ever buy anything on line in the future. Go to the warehouse or shop elsewhere. It is dreadful customer service on-line and a couldn't care less culture. This is such a pity as I love the warehouses.

Don’t use Costco on line they are awful parcel should have arrived yesterday via parcel force and did not arrive the said the same today guess what didn’t arrive today either phoned Costco yesterday although the girl seemed helpful she said she would email today to let me know what’s going on and didn’t , phoned again today this time not so helpful tried to cancel order but she would let me me cancel until 6:00 hade another delivery from parcel via parcel force today from a different company told the guy I had not received a parcel from the previous day he said it had not been put on his van phoned costco again they told me to refuse delivery if it arrives but won’t reimburse me until they get the parcel back this company usded to be excellent now they are failing dismally , use Amazon so far they have never let me down

Switched from Sam's but going back ASAP

Switched from Sam's due to the DEI situation but going back to Sam's. Placed a order for over 100$ and another one of 30$ same day. Company hit my card for 2x115$ and 2x 30$ same day. When I chatted with agent he tells me they hold all funds when order is placed then charges the card when order ships. In today's economy we cannot wait 3-5 business days for Costco to play with several 100 dollars in our account. Either they take the money when order is placed or take it when it ships and don't ship the order if funds don't come out but this greedy shit is for the birds Costco. Ughhhhhh Sam's doesn't do this even THEY aren't that greedy.

Regretful Experience Costco Online

I bought a Toshiba TV through Costco online December 2022. I took out the 3 year warranty. It became faulty in February '2025. Although the fault was deemed fixable by the engineer who attended, Costco decided to refund the cost than pay for a repair.

The refund took several weeks to process, meanwhile to not be without a TV, I had to buy one without the refund.

I purchased a Samsung 75 inch TV again through Costco online on 23.03.25. I paid an engineer £80 to fix the brackets and mount it on my wall on the day it was delivered, 3.3.25. Within a day, Samsung deemed the TV faulty. On switching it on, the screen just flashed grey. Without quibble, Costco agreed to replace it, but will not refund the £80 or send someone to fit the brackets and remount it. An employee told me that I should see it as a consequence of the purchase. I totally disagree that I should be out of pocket and have to pay yet another person to put the brackets on and mount the replacement TV. The Costco employee told me that I should do it myself to avoid the extra cost. This is totally ridiculous and unacceptable. What do you think?

Order a brand new Dell computer received a used one

On March 16, I placed an order with Costco.com for a brand new Dell computer on March 19. I received a used computer showing a service tag number on the box showing it went under remote repairs from September to December 2024
Costco is claiming that the computer was mailed to me from Dell and Dell was responsible for this

Order delivery FAIL

I was supposed to receive an order two days ago, Wed., which was already 6 days after I placed the order.

Four days ago they said it was "delayed" and would be arriving by today, Friday. THEN they said, "hey, it will arrive a DAY EARLY! [Thursday]"--i.e., only one day late instead of two.

No package arrived Thursday.

New message--"Exciting news! It will arrive today by 7 p.m.!"

No package today.

UPS has no answers. Of course after 7 p.m. the facility where it might be sitting in a trailer is closed. Although yesterday it was on a delivery truck; today it's back at the facility in a trailer???

This is on Costco, but also on UPS. Costco contracts with them. And Costco apparently needed 3 days to get the items to UPS.

This was my first and last Costco direct experience

This was my first and last purchase from Costco Direct. I bought two items, a TV and a TV console. Over $1000 total. After waiting a week, they came today, BOTH broken. The console is 7 ft and not available in the local warehouse, so I did an online exchange. The TV, or one similar, is available in warehouse, so rather than risk a second broken TV AND have to wait another week for it to be delivered, I returned the TV at the warehouse so I could have the TV today. After I got home, I noticed the return took away over half of the Costco Direct “buy two get $100” off. So, in the end, due to two, not one, faulty products and my not wanting to risk another TV being broken, I am out an additional $51.33. I called and spoke to a rep, she was professional but there was nothing she could do due to the system design. This is unacceptable, and I will not be using Costco Direct for any future purchases.

Appalling service

Appalling service, hours to get through to anyone and when you do if they can’t resolve your problem they hang up!! Happened to me twice now. 2 emails numerous phone calls and still no resolution in sight!! Costco warehouse in person 10/10. Costco online -10.

Took some jeans back as wrong size

Took some jeans back as wrong size, had to then go back in and get right ones. Then to see the que of over 80 people. I left the jeans and walked out.
Why don't the have a quick 5 item till, people who only getting a couple of things.

No very helpful either at customer service

Awful customer service regarding failed…

Awful customer service regarding failed deliveries. Agent did not follow through with email and arranging manager call back. Spent 2 hours on the phone over 3 working days to try and get resolution. Was advised goods would be reshipped but then advised after 3 days that they would not be reshipped and only a refund available.

Paid for goods, not delivered, not reshipped, no manager call back.

I would expect better from Costco.

Costco delivery service 3/2025 was the worst I have ever experienced with any organization. They came out twice and were unable to deliver a fridge we purchased and the supervisor over the customer service department is horrible. Costco should reevaluate their delivery services department. We asked for a full refund and was disgusted with your attitude towards us, their customer. Orange County California.

I had ordered online item ipad and…

I had ordered online item ipad and pencil. The delivery was late by a week and two items are delivered in two different place. One at ware house other at office ( even customer care@costco don't know which office).
Every thing was ordered at same time with same address. Beside this they had charged extra fee for delivery. Never buy anything online from costco
