Scripted Apologies, Broken Promises, No Product

Avoid this company. Misleading, automated responses and zero follow-through.

I ordered a necklace on December 7th as a Christmas gift, clearly advertised as 7–10 day shipping. As of two days before Christmas, the item still has not shipped.

I contacted customer service multiple times and received what are clearly AI-generated, copy-and-paste responses apologizing for delays, blaming the “holiday rush,” and promising that my order was scheduled to ship the following week. They even claimed they were upgrading the shipment to USPS Priority Mail at no cost as a gesture of goodwill.

None of that happened.

No shipment.
No tracking number.
No real explanation.

Just scripted emails designed to stall and placate customers while orders sit unfulfilled.

If you are ordering a gift, especially anything time-sensitive, do not trust their shipping timelines or customer service responses. This feels intentionally misleading, and I regret not checking reviews more carefully beforehand.

Save yourself the stress and shop elsewhere.

Our team has been working around the clock to meet our December 8th Christmas cutoff. I’ve checked our logs, and all orders placed by that date have been crafted and handed over to our shipping providers.

The delay you’re seeing in your tracking is due to a major bottleneck at the hand-over point. Because of the holiday peak, our service providers are experiencing "replication delays," meaning they have the packages, but their system is lagging significantly in generating and updating the tracking numbers (TNs). We expect your order is in one of these batches currently waiting for the system to refresh.

To be fully transparent on how we work: our custom pieces take 8–10 business days to meticulously craft (excluding weekends). From there, standard delivery is usually 7–10 days, while Express takes 3–5.

I want to find out exactly where your specific necklace is right now. Could you please send us an email with your order number? I will personally investigate the hand-over status and see why your tracking hasn't updated despite the upgrade to Priority Mail.

We know this is a stressful time of year, and we sincerely ask for your patience as we push our providers to get these numbers live. We truly value your business and want to make this right.

This company is probably a scam.

I placed my order on December 7th before their guaranteed Christmas delivery. No communication that they were behind or delayed. I have reached out 4 times for updates over the past week. Finally received a generic/Ai response similar to the ones to the reviews below. Very disappointed. Most likely was scammed, can see the generic AI responses below. Working on refunding through the credit card company.

Buyer beware. Shop somewhere else.

We ordered an item on December 7th after seeing the posted timeframes on their website. We received an order confirmation, but after receiving no further notifications, we checked in again on Dec 20th, wondering if the item would be received before Christmas - only to be provided a vague response with no usable explanation. Order number 108131. Unless you have a passion for terrible customer service, I would advise you to shop elsewhere.

Amount of time needed misrepresented. A total ripoff.

Still waiting for confirmation my order will arrive in time for Christmas. Company is unclear about the amount of time necessary to complete an order and then does not respond to inquiries. If my order is not fulfilled for Christmas I will dispute the charges on my credit card. Buyer beware!

Today is January 3 2025 and I have still not received my order. Notes on the status of the order online show that it has yet to be out for delivery. I paid extra for expedited shipping which was a total waste of money. I ask for a refund since I no longer need the item because I had to purchase an item from another source in order to make Christmas. I have received no answer about my refund.

This business is incompetent and the customer service is unacceptable. Don’t waste your time or risk you money. Check Reddit for others with awful experiences with Custom Collective.

We always want to be as transparent as possible about these timelines, which is why we list the full production and shipping breakdown in our FAQ section. To ensure holiday arrival, our guaranteed Christmas cutoff was December 8th. Since your order was placed after that date, it is still currently being meticulously crafted by our team.

As soon as it is finished, it will be handed over to our express courier (3–5 business days) to get it to you as quickly as possible. I truly hope this helps clarify the status of your piece. We appreciate your patience more than we can say.

I ordered my necklace on Nov and still have yet to receive the order. Very slow to respond and now they informed me the order was lost. I have now asked for a full refund but will likely need to go to my cc to dispute. Don’t order from this company. Very unfortunate.

Hopeful but currently frustrated

I believe I will get the product I ordered at some point but as so many other people have mentioned it has been extremely unclear what the timeline will be. I have been told it would be here before Christmas after having to ask, which I feel like I shouldn't have since I ordered it November 28th. Over a week ago I was told it would be here by Christmas yet it hasn't even left the facility to begin shipment...I assume the team is just completely understaffed and overworked but I would appreciate if they would respond as quickly to emails as they do to reviews on trustpilot, but this seems to be a better way to get their attention. I would definitely move my rating up if they could communicate with me and resolve things so the necklace I ordered for my wife would actually arrive by Christmas but right now I feel misinformed and frustrated. Please inform me of the actual status of my item and help get it shipped out in time.

Bad Company

I ordered a ring on December 2nd and it still has not shipped. Getting nowhere with the customer service and live chat doesn’t work. Do not recommend this company. Need to try and get my money back.

I am very frustrated

I am very frustrated. I ordered a custom necklace on Black Friday with the impression of getting my item by Christmas and I do not think that will be the case. This is a special gift and I won't be able to share the joy since I won't have the necklace. I reached out to customer support and I haven't heard back. My package hasn't shipped yet so I am under the impression this is a scam. Very frustrating. The few reviews I read yesterday state the same issue as me and the company's excuse is "this year we received higher demand than we thought." Whatever. Do not purchase from this company.

LATE SHIPPING AND INACCURATE PRODUCTION TIMES!

Not in Time for Christmas! I placed two orders with one of the orders being placed on 12/1 and not until I reached out to Customer Service (who I do want to note have been nice but not accomondating) to find out the items will not arrive in time for Christmas. Nowhere on the website or shipping pages (not even in FAQ) does it show the items will not arrive before o in time for Christmas. The shipping times and production times are in accurate as well. The order placed on 12/1 should have already shipped and still has not shipped. Very dissapoiting given I'm a small business owner as well and I wanted to give gifts two close family members from another small business.

Ordered on November 25th. I had to reach out for a confirmation number as one was not given. Need for a gift on December 19th. Poor Communication

Purchased my order on 12/8 and have yet to receive any confirmation on the process of my order. I did receive an initial text message stating they received my order but I have not been updated about if my order is in the production process. I am unable to track my order with email due to "incorrect email error" even though my confirmation recipt clearly has my email attached. I am very disappointed with the communication. My order confirmation that it would be in before Christmas and at this rate I am under the impression that I have been scammed.

Poor communication

I completed my order on Black Friday (11/28), which is understandably a busy time of the year to order from anywhere. I received an email on 12/2 that the order was started. I received an email on 12/7 that said the order was complete and ready to ship. I have yet to received another email. I would not expect it to take this long to package up and send out the shipment. I have emailed the customer service email multiple times with no response. After reading reviews, it appears that the only option is to dispute the transaction with my credit card provider which is frustrating. Based on their own responses and website it should take 2-3 weeks. Understandable I am still in the 3 week time frame but I am doubting it will be here by Friday 12/19.

Ordered a piece of jewelry for a…

Ordered a piece of jewelry for a Christmas gift November 30th. Paid 30$ shipping, (3-5 day shipping) since I needed it on the 19th of December. It’s been over 2 weeks and it hasn’t even shipped out yet. Emailed costumer service and they were no help at all. Gift isn’t going to arrive by the time I needed it. Scammed me out of paying for fast delivery when it isn’t going to arrive for 3+ weeks.

Ordered on 12/2. Absolutely no communication from the company until I reached out to my CC company to dispute the order. I finally received an email about my purchase. Today I tried to track the purchase and the website claimed I had an incorrect email and will not track. I did provide all necessary information on order form including phone and email. Jewelry Made Incorrectly

The custom jewelry I received was not what was designed. The designer sent me a design that showed the initials on the necklace properly arrayed. When the necklace arrived, the 'R' was completely out of place and on an angle. Upon bringing this to the support team's attention, I was told that the design matched what I received perfectly without any good explanation as to why they came to that conclusion. It's very clearly not what I ordered. After emailing back-and-forth, they would not budge and told me to write a review if I was still not satisfied, so here I am. Not only that, this necklace took roughly 3 months to be delivered which was not at all what they promised. I will never order from this company again.
