Wish I’d known about this before sending my CV to numerous companies - brilliant service

Having been made redundant and at a really bad time for a lot of people, having someone go over my CV and critique it has made perfect sense.
Constructive and concise with things I hadn’t even thought about has really helped reshape it.
Just got to get those applications in and keep my fingers crossed.

Very easy process to review my current CV and the feedback was professional and accurate showing me that I wasn't highlighting my best qualities and skills.
It has made me rethink how Im going about looking for work and also looking at CV Knowhow revamping my CV taking into account the way recruiters and employers look for. Thanks!!

It seems that many of the positive reviews here are based on the free of charge CV review. However.....

My writer, Sheldon I, clearly doesn’t understand the English language. The quality of what was submitted was beyond a joke, poorly written and the formatting resembled something one could have been proud of if you had bashed it out on a 1970’s typewriter.

I’m glad I took the option to pay over three instalments; one down - they can whistle for the other two.

I didn't know what to expect, however I was hopeful. The feedback was very beneficial. I found the suggestions true and encouraging. I was given practical advice and suggestion on how to achieve this. I was also given options if I did not want to rewrite my cv my self.
I recommended the service to my husband.

I thought it would be a generic response but I was so wrong! They broke down my CV for me and helped me improve it a lot. Told me what areas I should look to strengthen, which was really good feedback. I recommend people to submit their CV and get some good feedback that will benefit you greatly.

I received a very honest and helpful CV review, informing me on which sections I did well on and which parts needed to be changed. I received some helpful advice on how to change my CV also and other tips that I will change on my CV.

I thought the review that CV Knowhow did for me was detailed and informative. They gave me some very constructive criticism about my CV layout, content and where I need to tidy up.
All in all I was pretty impressed. All I need now is to find the cash to get them to re do it for me....

Great critiquing will definitely take the advice and make adjustments recommended. I was offered the chance to have my CV reviewed when I uploaded it to CV-library by Cv knowhow and found the feedback very detailed and informative. They advised on both the layout and my CV content which was very helpful.
The only reason I have given it 4 stars is because I would've loved for them to rewrite my CV but obviously this is a business they need to make revenue from their services. Great experience and would highly recommend. I will be using the feedback soon to make my CV better.

I submitted my CV to CV Knowhow when I signed up in CV-Library for finding a job as a Structural Engineer in UK. They reviewed my CV in 1 day and send me their advices and correction by email and it was great. I discovered that I could improve and make my resume much more effective by following their suggestions, and that's what I did. Now my CV looks really clear and effective.
In particular, they informed me of the Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) that the largest companies in the world use as a recruiter digital tool. They gave me an example on how this tool work on my CV and thanks to it I was able to make perfect my CV also upon this aspect.

Great!!! High quality in depth analysis of my CV. I was able to see very easily what needed changing and what didn’t.

The review is quite helpful as it points out what your CV is missing for each area.
The negative things are pointed out in such a way that does not make you feel bad about your current CV. Instead, the review makes sure that it also finds positive things to point out so that you know your CV isn't totally worthless.
One thing missing was listing out specific
ways to change your skills section because the feedback given on that part was quite vague and not clear.

I recieved a honest feed back on my cv , the person who reviewed my cv not only pointed out the negatives but also showed me about the postive aspects in my cv and they even included snippets of my cv explaining where i have gone wrong , whereas other cv editing tools might give you a general feedback that is autogenerated.
