I had my CV analysed and was told all the areas I needed to improve on. I was given the honest truth which was definitely what I needed to succeed. I’m so thankful to Caroline Roberts who reviewed my CV, I think without her I’d still be stuck in the same rut.

Don't be fooled by the CV analysis, that's the only thing they probably do OK, but from there on its going down hill.

I had my first CV done in nearly 1 month, so slow process with writer had no urgency and insight into the field I want to apply. Needless to say I didn't get any response from companies.

Then I asked for the 60 days rewrite and 2 weeks in the writer told me that I can fill in the rest myself, and informed me that she finished my CV.

The service they provide is non professional, they don't keep up with the trends and insisting on using old formats.

I wasted valuable time and money for a CV which doesn't represent me well. Now I have to do the CV myself.

Think before you choose them, it does not worth it. Please read all the reviews regarding the CV writing service they provide and see for yourself. Don't make the same mistake I did.

A top notch service which i received free of charge. The review of my cv I was offered came very quickly in just 2 days. The review itself was very insightful and pointed out any flaws in my original cv. The nature of the review was encouraging, not disheartening and so this gave me the confidence to redo it without feeling frustrated but excited. I signed up for CV, cover letter and Linked In profile. The CV was done pretty quickly and was good but the cover letter was appalling. It would have suited a second hand car salesman as it was pushy, arrogant and gave no sense of who I was as a person. When I asked for changes, the second draft just came back more or less how I had written it. I wont be using the cover letter. 10 days ago, my writer told me that I would have my LinkedIn profile 'very soon'. 7 days ago, he said I would have it by the end of last week. Its now Wednesday of the next week and still nothing. All emails are returned with generic 'you will get something soon'. Very poor service and failure to meet any of the expectations they set at the start.

This was my first english CV and the review was honest and helpful. I just used the free version and the advices really made sense to me. A must use service!

The initial review showed promise, however, was mainly a reformat of my old CV that any word processor could do given a template. Only my last two jobs were shown meaning I would need to format the remainder of my CV myself. This would have been fine as I do acknowledge I need to be involved in the process, however, I updated the CV and sent it back with my comments and the reviewer never responded. I had to raise a complaint for them to respond and then when they did it was the same format based review using what i assume is a template with absolutely no comments or responses to my email. The reviewer had clearly not read what I had sent as there were obvious spelling errors which they did not pick up. I was clearly upset that I was paying £150 for such a poor service and requested a refund, however, the payments are still coming out of my account and the company has ignored my requests for a refund, by instead sending somewhat automated responses regarding their commitment to progress the CV. If you want to reformat your CV or draft a cover letter it would be much cheaper to find a style you like and copy it. If you are looking for substantive review with collaboration and are willing to pay then i'd try another company as this service came nowhere close to that.

I submitted my cv expecting a computer analysed rating at most. When it came back to me I was shocked by the detail put into the feedback. They included things in the feedback that I didn’t even know employers looked for. The feedback was about 5 pages long and was very helpful. They exceeded my expectations by a long mile.

Honest and constructive review of my CV. I’m so glad I took advantage of getting my CV assessed as Caroline gave me valuable insight into what needs to be done to improve it. After uploading my Cv to CV library, I noticed I could take advantage of free CV analysis. I took that opportunity and the result came the next day. Information given was helpful, I found the feedback constructive and motivating. Afterwards I went on LinkedIn and shared my recommendation. I really think it's amazing tool and I will use the feedback to improve my CV, so it reflectels me more effectively.

Good clear criticism. So helpful

This won't be a long review, I'll bulletpoint issues for ease of reference.

- I paid in excess of £100 for someone to simply change the layout of my CV
- Hardly any wording was changed... Now, I'm not a silly guy, neither am I a genius, however, I'd expect a "professional CV writer" to have a deeper vocabulary than I.
- Absolutely zero, yes ZERO responses to my CV from potential employers. Luckily I'm in work and have no major reason to leave.

I seem to have been completely ripped off..
The work they put in, I'd have been able to do myself, I just needed to take out irrelevant previous work history and condense the text.

Use a different company if you're after guaranteed results

Had my CV reviewed quickly and free. I was able to improve my CV in many ways, mostly in ways I never considered and wouldn't have access to. Highly recommended for anybody reviewing their CV.
