Great local bike shop.
Took my 5 year old road bike, with worn out transmission for repair here.
All staff were polite, helpful. Informative and reliable.
When I collected the bike, the repairs were professional and the bike felt as good as new.

Thank you Dave, Paul and Sue, you are the tops. In the middle of a coast to coast ride, technical problems started for myself and a colleague. We got to you at 4.30pm Saturday, you got us back on the road again within an hour. Thank you so much, truly appreciative. For any cyclists near Burton upon Trent, I would thoroughly recommend them - they are the Tops!

Half way through a coast to coast from Bangor to Cromer & my chain is jumping so badly I'd seriously thought I would have to bail. Rang these guys thinking issue with chainset or chain or cassette. Said bring it round. Quickly identified the problem as my free hub pawls. Kept the shop open & quickly sorted me out. Back on the road.

A Hidden Gem for Cyclists in Burton!

What an incredible find! This place is hands-down the best cycling store in the area. Whether you’re a casual rider, commuter, or serious road warrior, they’ve got everything you need—from hydration packs and performance gear to quirky accessories like cycling-themed cufflinks (which I couldn’t resist).

The CamelBak range is top-tier, and the staff were genuinely knowledgeable, especially when talking me through the Shokz bone conduction headphones (which are a game-changer for safe riding with music). I also spotted some really sharp Garmin tech and Muc-Off essentials—clearly a shop that understands cyclists inside and out.

Prices are fair, the vibe is friendly, and there’s a brilliant mix of practical kit and fun cycling culture. Oh—and I nearly forgot… they even offer a bicycle made for two for hire! Definitely a missed trick not telling me that earlier 😂.

Thank you Dave & the hardworking staff at Cycling 2000 for getting my bike ready for Ireland. A service showed wear & tear on the carbon fork. They pursued this with vigour & got my carbon fork repaired plus a full service, keeping me informed of my bikes progress all the way along. Huge thanks to you all for sorting it.

Went to see Paul and Dave again for some advice regarding my Garmin GPS and some additional safety features for on the road in Bulgaria. Bought a Garmin Varia with building rear viewing camera and radar which interacts with my Garmin Edge. 💯 quality service yet again. This shop never fails to deliver

Great advice whilst I was choosing a new bike. Very helpful and patient members of staff. 1 helped me on my first visit and then a different one on the second visit. I'm really enjoying riding the bike. They fitted a rack and mudguards for me. Parking was good, right outside the shop.

Dave and the team go above and beyond, and it’s why I’ve purchased 6 bikes off them over the last few years. Cannot recommend them highly enough, never try to sell you something just offer advice and guidance and alternatives at the same or similar price point. Cav was also very attentive and engaged my son to understand his requirements rather than what dad thought he might’ve needed!

Made my first purchase from these guys recently. They were very helpful and knowledgeable and bought a nice bike at a very good price.

I visited with little knowledge about upgrading my commuting bicycle. I was greeted by lovely staff who helped me without patronising me. I felt very welcome and explained what I was looking for. I chose a bike and it was built up for me to take away. I asked questions and had everything explained so well. I never felt rushed and felt genuinely like my custom was appreciated, something I haven't experienced very often. I really recommend this store and have told everyone I know to visit.

Excellent service. Really quick delivery. There was a slight issue with the model I had ordered, they called me straight away told me my options and we got it sorted with no delay or issues.
