I have had Peakto for a year or so and it is invaluable if I cannot find an image, Peakto is the go to app to find it. It also allows for culling and inserting metadata in both single and multiple images. I now can use it as my default DAM and they are constantly improving it. Finally, their tech support is just first class.

I edit videos and Peakto features really save me a lot of time !

At last a smart solution designed to save time and thought for all photographers. The depth of features is simply amazing, I have not used them all yet as I am not a professional but I can totally see how those would enhance their everyday life. The solution is backed by a solid team and support is great, which gave confidence to adopt the solution for my everyday use!

As a hobbyist who loves photography, rarely a day goes by where I’m not adding several photos to my catalog. I rely on my photos as reminders of items of interest at stores, records of my travels and most of all visions of wonderful times in my life. The downside of this, is the fact that my photo gallery is quickly approaching 20,000 photos. It’s overwhelming especially when you want to find that one special photo to share or simply relive a moment in time. The software on my phone is always improving but it just can’t deal with the sheer volume of pics. That’s where Peakto saves the day. Using all the metadata associated with my photos I can easily find photos by using timelines, keywords, colors(!), locations or any variety of searches including similar photos. And you can chain these search criteria’s together helping you zero in on the one photo you are trying to find. Peakto is a must have tool for anyone who truly loves photography. And Peakto is not a static tool either. Rarely does a month go by without new features, tutorials being released.

Peakto saves me hours every week. The fast search and quicker culling really improved my workflow. It took a little time to discover everything, but now I use it constantly.

I am new to Peakto so my review does not yet address all the functionality. I picked Peakto to host the images I have accumulated and edited in Apple Aperture, as well as other images organized outside of Apple Aperture. This Peakto does very well - I now have access to my 100,000 images in a single media management program.

Since I am a beginner I have some frustration with the interface and I also have dozens of questions. Customer support responds in a timely manner, so I hope to be up to speed soon.

I am a retired hobbyist with 100,000 photos in various locations that I have accumulated over the years. I have used Aperture, Apple Photos, Capture One, On1 and Gentlemen Coders Nitro. Peakto does an amazing job of helping me organize these various different catalogs as well as allowing me to use Peakto’s local facial recognition (as well as existing facial recognition from Apple Photos or Aperture) on catalogs from software from Capture One and On1 which do not have that facial analysis ability.

Additionally, the filtering which Peakto permits (including allowing live smart albums), is extremely flexible and powerful allowing the use of boolean logic and incorporating faces and meta data and both user defined keywords as well as AI generated keywords.

Lately, I have also been overjoyed to use Peakto to analyze my 40 year old family video collection and use it to find and store clips of early family adventures. Peakto can create video bins of clips which can be exported to iMovie or Final Cut (or other software) to create lengthy movies or short remembrances. The ability to search the video dialog for my children’s names has allowed me to quickly search for clips of them. As well, Peakto allows me to search for “gymnastics” clips or “water” clips. The AI searching ability on video is steadily improving and Peakto constantly amazes me by its power!

Peakto quickly became an indispensable tool in my workflow. It provides a convenient overview of photos and videos across multiple drives and apps, making it easier to find duplicates, edited versions, and grade shots using AI. The integration with editing apps is seamless, and there’s a steady stream of improvements and new features. I highly recommend Peakto to every photographer and videographer.
