Fantastic customer service
Fantastic customer service, and a good range of products BUT I really don't like that there are no change of mind returns. With rugs, it is really hard to know if they will suit a room until you have it in there. I returned my purchase in less than 24 hours because as soon as i put it on the floor, I knew it didn't suit but could only get store credit as there were no others I liked in store.

Very Happy Customer
After searching online for a new rug we settled on a new collection available at Cyrus Rugs. On visiting the Ballina store we received excellent service from Alex who showed us a selection of rugs. He allowed us plenty of time to make a final selection and placed the rugs on the floor so we could see how the colours display a little differently. Alex was always polite and didn’t pressure us into making a quick decision. He also informed us of store policies which would have allowed us to trial the rug in our home for 24 hr return or 7 day change of mind store credit. However, we are very happy with our selection which complements the decor of our room.
A big Thank you to Alex for his professional customer service and friendly and polite manner.

Won't warranty their products
Do not buy from this unprofessional company. Makes promises of warranty if anything is or goes wrong with their products, then doesn't want to know you after the fact. Purchased an expensive rug only to a find a large section edge stitching not even connected to the rug. Sent photo to them to show fault, said they would fix it if I returned the rug. Drove 100km to drop it off, only for them to call back after I got home to state it was anyone's fault but theirs and they won't be fixing it. I will now be taking it to fair trading, as this company is pathetic at customer service. I will never deal with them again. If only I saw all the negative reviews they have from others before I purchased from them. Go elsewhere people and don't give this company a cent!
Response to Cyrus claims: The rug was picked up by a local professional company your company recommended, as I needed 50cm cut off the end to fit in my lounge room. The section that was faulty was in the middle of the rug length that wouldn't have even been touched or unrolled with in their possession as stated by them. They have since fixed it at at my expense and unlike your company, they said they would have been happy to solve it at their cost if in anyway it could have happened in their care. The manager of your store stated they would fix it if I returned it after viewing photo's sent to him and I never asked for a refund, just wanted it fixed which is a reasonable ask when someone has spend a lot of money on a "quality rug" which I'm not so sure about now. But as usual like all the many negative reviews your company have, it's just more excuses negating responsibility to warranty your products. Just pathetic!!!

We have now investigated your review by speaking to the relevant people involved.
First of all, we assess all situations on a case-by-case basis and do not promise a blanket term of 'warranty'.
I have been informed that you purchased a rug from our Maroochydore store which you wanted to be resized by being cut by upholstery alteration people. The rug was picked up by this third party from our store to make the alteration you requested from them and was in their care. The edging situation was then reported. Our manager informed you that if you returned the rug, this case could be assessed, not that you would receive a refund. Upon this assessment, it was deemed that due to the rug being picked up by a third party for alterations, we could not provide any warranty on the product for the edging as we cannot deem that this was not caused by their care. Adding to this, as the rug was cut and overlocked we cannot accept a return as it is no longer our product and our value.

Don't buy from this store
Don't buy from this store. Total waste of $550.00 the carpet I bought online doesn't roll out and stay flat. It curls up at least 3 rolls. I put upside down barstools and heavy box on it for 5 days from the day I received it, didn't work still curling all around on all 4 sides. I have to throw it away, not fit for purpose.
Cyrus Rugs emailed 4/10/23 and said to roll the carpet in the opposite way or put it in the sun for one day. One wonders why it wasn't rolled in the correct direction to begin with. We tried rolling in opposite direction & that it didn't work, it kept unrolling and Im not putting it in the sun for day weighted down so birds/neighbours cat can pee/poo on it. Carpet-cleaning guy who was here today for another room said those types of carpets never lie flat because of how they are made, waste of money.

Even though we have been responding back and forth with you via email, we would like to respond to this review as well.
We have provided you with multiple solutions in our emails to you. As stated, we have sold hundreds, if not thousands, of this Star Collection and the solutions we have provided you via email are what help flatten these rugs after being rolled for a period of time. To flatten a rug, any rug, after being rolled up, sometimes we have to perform these tasks. Especially if they have a rubber backing.
As we mentioned in our email, we retrieved a Star rug and laid it in the sun for not even a full day, this slightly heated up the rubber backing and assisted the rug in re-shaping flat. We provided you with photos.
There are ways to help this situation and the solutions we have been providing you are valid. The rug is fit for purpose and we just need your cooporation.
