There is much room for improvement. I took an annual subscription because of how wonderful I thought you were. Sadly it was downhill all the way from there. Boxes not sent, boxes sent months late, orders not fulfilled.

I ordered a magazine back in July 2023 and said to expect delivery within 20-25 days. As months past, the status of the shipment has never moved. Contacted them many times and came up with excuses after excuses. Asked for a refund and they came up with some excuse saying that'll take another month 🙄 it's now March 2024 and I don't expect to receive the magazine nor money back. These ppl are scammers! Don't trust your money with them

DONT TRUST
had my sister order Oneus’s Season’s Greetings for 2024 back when it was announced and was told the delivery date would be late December… it is now March of the next year and I am yet to receive any updates much less the actually package. Now looking at these reviews I fear I am out $85. Do NAWT trust this company.

The absolute worst company that I've ever dealt with. They will take your money and then give you a million excuses (it's company A fault, its the delivery company's fault, it's now company B's fault, etc... it never ends). Now? The answers are "we are sorry for the delays, but we cannot tell you when you'll receive what you paid for." DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE, THEY ARE CROOKS. The sad part is that I used to love this company, I would look forward to my boxes.... and now???? Nothing! Be warned, if you do hand over your money be prepared for excuses and to never receive anything. I REGRET EVER LEARNING OF THIS COMPANY.

Takes months and months to ship orders, if they are not cancelled. When they are cancelled, they are not refunded and I have to fight for my money. Items have arrived with stuff missing or damaged and never got the money back for those. Customer care sucks and they give false platitudes without solving the problem. Do NOT order from this company they basically steal your money.
Edit: Y'all can respond to a bad review but not my emails? I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!

Absolute rubbish
Absolute rubbish - steer clear of this company. How their website is still up and running I have no idea. They don't seem to actually have any of the items they're selling. I ordered two Vogue Korea magazines in September last year. ONE of them finally arrived in December. I never received the other one. Was refunded in store credit + $10. Used that to place an unrelated order for two additional items in mid-January. Also never received them. Still fighting to get a refund on my original order, a proper one this time, because honestly, why the hell would I want store credit for a store that clearly has no items?? DO NOT USE THEM.

Scam! Buyers Beware!
The worst scam I’ve come across. Their website only has reviews for items from other websites yet there are ZERO testimonies on how Daebak runs their company listed on their site reviews link. The company never updated me on my order unless I asked and even then it would take weeks for them to get back to me. Months after I’d placed my order, they were finally honest about one thing and that’s the fact that they never had any stock to begin with. They directed me to a Google form to fill out which they undoubtedly ignored given all of the outstanding refunds here they have yet to fulfill, including mine. This was months ago and I’m still owed a refund which I doubt they ever planned on fulfilling to begin with. Daebak still has the MBTI cup that they don’t actually have listed on their website as “in stock.” I implore people remotely interested to stay away from this complicated scam and go to a trusted site with actual reviews by buyers.

This company is a scam. I am still waiting for a package I ordered in June that was suppose to come months ago. When I email them to cancel my order and get a refund, they just send you a link to submit for a refund. The refund is suppose to take 14 days. It hasbeen two months, I still have gotten my money back and no reply on why. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!

Stay away. I, like others, used to have a membership to their Daebak seasonal boxes. My last order was paid for May 2023. I have yet to receive my summer 2023 box. When reaching out to customer service, they sent me a bunch of excuses and now, at this point, they do not respond to me. They have not honored my request for a refund nor have they given me an estimate as to when I will receive my purchase. I’ve tried reaching out to my cc company to reverse this charge, but since they charge you for the box months in advance of actually shipping them out, it was past the number of days that are allowed. This company has essentially stolen my money.
EDIT: I’ve contacted them several times since their response below and they continue to ghost me. I’ve decided to file a complaint with the FTC. What they are doing is illegal. For those in the US who are interested, you can file online complaints using the FTC’s website.

Do not buy from this company.
Started out well….enjoyed the boxes I received.
I am now out 3 entire boxes & have been going back & forth with customer service for months to receive my boxes, after promises of delivery, they still never shipped my boxes, even created a shipping label with tracking that sat for months. I am out $150 & they keep giving me the run around for a refund. They claim they processed one & should see my refund in 5-7 business days. It has been excessively over that amount & time & still no resolution. All they do is respond with very nicely worded emails to make you sound heard & like they care, but all they do is run you in circles. I’m not pleased. Don’t buy from this company, they have turned into scammers. My boxes are from April, May, & June 2023!

I used to love ordering from Deabak however, over the past couple of months I have been very upset with them. I have been ordering their subscription box since 2021, and they used to do a wonderful job of shipping things on time, but I have yet to receive my fall box for 2023. Additionally, I tried to cancel my subscription, but they did not allow me to. I feel as though they just stole $219.92 from me and they never offered any true solutions.

i preordered exos album in june or july last year but they just stole my money. I tried contacting them so much on every platform they have and i just got the same excuse that it's delayed because it was a pre order and it still said it was on the way on the shop app but of course it never came. I've bought albums from them before and it was never a problem but idk maybe they're just going broke and resorted to stealing off their customers. Literally all i wanted was my money back i don't even care about the albums anymore. it was almost $200 though so yeah just don't buy from this stupid ass failing company please they will take your money!!

This company used to be legit, but I don’t know what’s happening now. I’ve been getting subscription boxes since November 2020 and they were fun to open.
Both my summer 2023 and fall 2023 box have been initiated but I have yet to receive them.

This appears to be a scam. Ordered months ago. They periodically send emails like “We haven’t forgotten you!” But those emails have ZERO information about my personal order. I think these are meant to just keep people from reporting them.
I’ll retract this review if an item ever actually arrives.
Go with Seoulbox instead. They are legit and ship quickly.
Update: Why are you asking for my order number? Shouldn’t a legit company just send out ALL orders, not just those who complain?

Daebak is taking money but not delivering products
I've been a Daebak quarterly subscription customer since 2021, but they no longer ship their subscription boxes. I haven't received one since May 2023, and since this is an annual subscription (my renewal is every January), that's three boxes that I'm missing and should be refunded for.
Then on top of that, my subscription auto-renewed two weeks ago, January 2024, and they won't refund it, even though they have clearly stopped sending out merchandise. I'm irritated that I have to file a PayPal dispute over this, how are they renewing 2024 subscriptions when they haven't yet given us the 2023 merchandise?
I'm super bummed, Daebak. You guys used to be so good, and I've been very nice to your poor customer service rep who keeps telling me that your TOS states "no refunds." It's not her fault, but that's theft, no? You guys are violating your own TOS because you're taking money and not sending the goods.
