I have booked Daily Poppins Oxford branch recently to be my regular cleaners. I must say I am impressed with communication and service provided, Agnes come to see me for initial booking appointment and everything was taken from there. Highly Professional and recommended.

I use a lot of cleaning companies in line with my business. This company is not only very expensive £350 was quoted for cleaning a one bedroom house and that did not include the carpets (I discovered that after they had been and despite it being in my instructions) which equated to £50 an hour. Their own cleaners berate their hourly pay so how they can charge this much even taking account of overheads(what overheads - a car and a few bottles of fluid and perhaps a duster or two and a hoover) is beyond me. The work was shoddy. The property had already been cleaned once so there was not that much to do. They informed me they would not climb a ladder for health and safety reasons (how can they clean high up?!) they did left thick dust on the rails, dust on the blinds, cobwebs, food particles in the fridge, marks on all the windows and when I inspected and said I wasn't happy they became very aggressive, even accusing me of not paying in advance. I took photos of all the items and when I said I had proof they said they must have had an 'off day'. If you job is as a cleaner you do not have 'off days' for cleaning! Needless to say I did get a full refund via paypal. My advice - do not use this company but if you do then do not pay up front! An awful experience. And Dailypoppins, please do not write back and tell me that it is a franchise - you should have full control of your ethos and standards at all times as you are representing a brand.

Cleaning is ok but communication is terrible
Asked for a monthly clean, never know when they will turn up despite asking multiple times for a schedule. Have had to turn cleaners away on occasions as timing was not appropriate. Working at home, as many people are, I need to plan around them coming.
Got fed up and have asked them not to come back and return my key (which I am still waiting for).

Absolute joke of a company. I was quoted £85 for 1 bedroom clean and 1 bathroom in which I was told it’s be a deep clean as it was only 2 rooms and there were two cleaners. They turned up and were rude from the start, I asked them to wear a mask but they didn’t understand and carried on I tried to explain to them what needed doing including the inside of my wardrobes which I had already removed the clothes from I was told these would be put back neatly. The wardrobes were not even touched and I was left with a pile of clothes just chucked everywhere. Following this they were only actually here for 45 minutes not an hour and a half they had literally just gone round the place and wiped them mopped with dirty water. I later found my Tiffany necklace snapped in half on the floor (other half no where to be found) I had left it on my desk so no idea why it was elsewhere in the house. Absolute joke when I called to complain the lady on the phone said she couldn’t deal with the stress of my complaint because she was pregnant... this shouldn’t affect the cleaning standards of your staff. Utter joke of a company do not use!

I recently used Daily Poppins for a one-off house clean when I was moving out of a rented house. They did a great job and I got back the full deposit from my landlady.

Excellent service and competitive prices. We used this company for an 'end of tenancy' cleaning. Prompt and professional. I would recommend the Didcot and Wallingford team.

Recently hired for an end of tenancy clean and must say they were brilliant. There were one or two spots found on the checkout report that had been missed, but they returned immediately to rectify, so couldn't be happier with their professionalism and hard work. So good that we've taken them on at our newly purchased home. I highly recommend

Daily Poppins - CORK.
Really annoyed, I have been using this service for about 2 years now here and there when my apartment just needed that extra spruce up. To be honest when I come back each time, they have never done the full two hours I pay for and they haven't cleaned everywhere. It's like they just quickly run over the main spaces.

Anyway, even though I felt this way about them, I still continued to use their services and support them as I was generally happy but this time they arranged a time with me and changed it THREE TIMES, honestly so frustrating! It seemed as each time they got a better offer and no apology or anything. I honestly think this is appalling for providing a service.

We have been using Daily Poppins Kent for 6 months now, being a couple who works we were trusting this company with our keys as we are not around the house, the work that it had to be done was a general clean fortnightly and it was minimum again as we are never home, they charged us full 3 hours for 3 people to rush around for 30 mins, the job was always inconsistent and mediocre, they would leave toilets without a brush, or showers half way cleaned and never scrubbed between the tiles, bathroom floor without moping, kitchen cupboards without wiping, high surfaces were never cleaned (above wardrobe). Recently they scratched my staircase wall and cleaners have said it wasn't them, I have stopped my contract and now I'm using another company. NEVER AGAIN

I have used Daily Poppins - Reading for about 6 months.
During this period, I had numerous of issues: cleaners left the underfloor heating on despite being asked to check if it is off. The result was huge electricity bills. Cleaning as such was not up to standard as well - I have found condoms, plastic bags and rubbish (on several occasions) left after they cleaned my serviced apartment. I have found dirty dishes in the dishwasher - cleaners never washed. All these were photographed and sent to management company which assured me that will communicate it with Daily Poppins and that this will not happen again.
Well, it did not get any better at all. In fact, I had many other issues going forward (my brand new hoover Henry went missing, etc...).

In the end, when I terminated my contract with the management company and requested my linen back, I was only given part of them.
Justine from Daily Poppins was not particularly helpful when I asked her for the rest and told me to ask the management company. Management company on the other hand said that at the start of my contract I gave the new linen directly to Daily Poppins so I had to ask them.
Both - Daily Poppins (Justine) and the management company refused to take responsibility for the missing linen and for all the issues in the past.
In the end, I lost a lot of money because of Daily Poppins and the way they operate as a cleaning company.
I would NOT recommend this company to anyone!

I called to enquire about having some cleaning carried out in my house as I have had hand surgery so cannot clean. I could not believe it when she quoted £46 for 2 hrs (£23ph) work!!! I am a domestic cleaner myself that has the same clients for 7 years and have to turn down lots of new enquiries and i only charge £14.50ph. Do not use this company, there are many more decent companies that are a lot cheaper.

Daily popping regarding your reply - i don't need to use your service to know that no cleaner is worth £23ph. Also i read a lot of your reviews which made me adamant that you over charge people massively.

I have used the Oxford Service, Excellent. They were prompt, polite and the work was to a very high standard. I would recommend.

This was an excellent service. I was in a hurry to have a place cleaned for sale, and they did the job next day. They could not have been more accommodating and they tackled really bad ground on dirt. I can't recommend them enough. Fast, efficient, diligent and helpful. Highly recommended.

I use the Oxford branch of Daily Poppins and have always found them very efficient and curtious. I would not hesetate to recommend this service to my friends

Well, the cleaner was okay, but she left a few bits and bobs which we asked them to rectify. The administrators for the Oxford branch were horrendous. For some reason the bank declined our card and we offered to pay by alternative means. We were given threats of court action! It was the rudeness that is compelling me to write this review. They need to understand that you don’t threaten your customers over small mistakes especially when they’re offering to pay by alternative means. It looks like they thought threats would get their money faster but lost a few customers in the process! They really need to work on their people skills.
