The communications were fast and clear. The prices very reasonable. The staff exceeded my wife and my expectations. So thorough and thoughtful. Would use them again for sure.

Similar experience to the other on…
Similar experience to the other on here. We just moved in just needed a little refresh house already clean just wanting a refresh before we put furniture in. Paid for 140 min, showed them what needed doing asked for area too to get special attention. I returned 1 hour later and they had already left, my wife was working in the study and said they left after 45min. Really disappointing, seems like they have just wiped surfaces. They didn’t even move the stools in the kitchen to hover. Guess I will be looking for another company for the regular cleans.

Poor customer service and not really deep clean standard
I used Daily Poppins to do a deep clean of my property. To start with the positives, if you can call it one, the cleaners themselves did an adequate job. They did manage to get round all of the areas request in the time allocated, however they do seem to have avoided jobs that would have required concerted effort, such as stubborn limescale removal, removing stains in grooves in doors and skirting, or properly (i.e. streak free) cleaning the glass. I’d have preferred they had followed the written instructions and done fewer areas well, rather than all areas adequately.
Unfortunately, this is about the only positive thing I can say about my experience. The cleaners eventually showed up 4 hours after the end of the agreed arrival time slot. Apparently their van had broken down, and they were waiting hours for their vehicle to be repaired. I only found out about this after ringing Agnes after the allocated slot had passed, despite them having been broken down 45 minutes prior to this.
Eventually, Agnes organised another team to come out, which was appreciated. I was told they were 10 minutes away, it took them nearly an hour before they eventually showed up - apparently caught in traffic for the duration for what was supposedly a 10 minute journey. At this point it’s hard to know whether that was really true, or if excuses were being made.
Either way, Agnes communication was pretty poor - she rarely responded to the phone, and ignored all my email communications by the end. I’ve yet to receive a follow up call or message to apologise, or offer any discount for the delays, despite the fact that their own terms and conditions would have led to me losing the full booking cost had I done to them what they did to me, which seems like a double standard.
All in all I think I will try a different company if I have cleaning needs in future.
Poor Service and Attitude
The Oxford branch of Daily Poppins are over priced, with a poor service, poor attention to detail, poor attitude, lack of communication and dishonest. I write this review to ensure people have an honest account upon which they can rely if considering their services.
Dangerous and Rude Drivers
Had the misfortune of encountering this company driving along the M4 near Swindon. Inconsiderate, rude and very, dangerous drivers so I doubt they are much good at cleaning. You might want to reconsider what sort of advert this is when you drive a branded car.
Happy with services
[Area: Old Woking] I have recently used the midi service twice. Am happy with the results. The 2 ladies who visited my home were calm and did a good job.
Awesome cleaning service
Daily poppins team always does fabulous job in cleaning my house. They are on time and have required skills to do the job.Justine is very professional and helpful.
Very satisfied
Very satisfied. Good workers, always friendly and obliging. Overseen by Jill who has been so good at accommodating our needs.
I have used Daily Poppins in Newbury…
I have used Daily Poppins in Newbury for many years. I have always found them thorough and conscientious. It is not always the same people, but they have all been courteous and friendly. Any issues have been rapidly sorted out.
Do not waste your money….
I would also give no stars but unfortunately there isn’t that option. I used this company and was advised it would be 330 minutes and booked a midi clean. They were half an hour late (but turned up after I emailed to see where they were) and had left within the hour without asking me to check anything. They practically ran out the door while still mopping the floor. The cleaning was not up to standard considering there were 3 of them. I have since sent an email to Agnes but have not heard anything back. I wouldn’t normally put a negative review but because it cost a lot of money as far as I am concerned and I have not had the service I paid for and also with no response from Agnes I wanted to let others know that this company (Weybridge) and their service is not worth your money. Very disappointing.
Terrible service, do not use!
I would strongly advise against using this service (Oxford). It is very overpriced for the quality of the clean we received. The two cleaners arrived late and only stayed for 45 minutes, after doing a very light clean (even though I booked a ‘midi’ clean); they didn’t even mop our upstairs floors! Many areas remained dusty and overall I did not see any difference in the state of our house, which was so disappointing and unacceptable after spending about £120. I then emailed Agnes (the owner) to ask about this poor quality service and never heard back (despite emailing twice). Overall, I would strongly discourage anyone from using this service. I’ve used other cleaning companies in the past of comparable price but much better quality.

1 star as there is no place for 0
I scored a 1 star as there is no place to score 0. Very poor quality cleaning service. Requested an end of tenancy clean and was advised by the company their 385minute clean was sufficient.
Surface clean was decent however the detailed clean was very poor. Photographs sent to me showed significant amount of dirt.
To add insult to injury the cleaners broke the shower door and have made no response to this matter.
Regarding the clean they refer to their terms and conditions that after the time allocated they stop cleaning. Basically they give zero commitment to actually clean the premises just that they will be in attendance for a given amount of time.
Definitely would never use this company again.

No refund, called me a liar and laughed at me
I ordered a cleaning out of hours and received a text message the morning it was booked for that I should call back. I called, they said that they don’t have any available spaces, I asked them to please check because I needed it urgently. The lady said that she will check if she can move around clients and she will text me back. I said that I am calling from a landline and she should text me on the phone she texted before. After a while, I didn’t receive any message, I ordered another company service and asked for a refund. They said no. I called back and they said that per terms and conditions they will not refund me after a confirmation has been sent. I did not receive any confirmation. So they called me a liar. I asked them what phone did they send it to, they said the phone I’m calling from (the landline). Even if we go by terms and conditions, I was not aware that the booking was made, so I should be eligible for a refund. After arguing with the lady, I hung up the phone. Then some man called me for some reason. I didn’t want to talk to them anymore, but he called me. He called me a liar too. I asked him to send me a screenshot of the sent message, he said he will and did not, obviously because there is no text in our conversation. He then laughed at me?! Laughed at me! And I hung up the phone. If you want to be called a liar, laughed at and not get a refund, pls use this service. Don’t rely on the nice reviews, as I did. And apparently read their terms and conditions carefully, cause they are dead serious on them. Overall, I feel very offended and mad about the situation. It’s not my problem that they can’t figure out which number to text me to (the one I provided in the form, where it says contact number), and if they can’t find a text message conversation we had before. By all legal reasons, I should get a refund, but apparently I am a liar.
Daily Poppins (Reading Branch)
I've used Daily Poppins in Reading for almost ten years now and I'm happy with the quality and the flexibility of the service. The cleaners are always cheerful and do a really good job.
Daily Poppins Peterborough
I have been using Daily Poppins Peterborough for more than 15 years and am very happy with them. Never had any qualms about leaving them my keys and work is done to a good standard. Very reliable. Jill is good at contacting you if there needs to be any changes. I would recommend them: the teams I am sent are friendly and efficient.
Service
Whilst the food is good the service is not provided. The servers just stand talking at the counter and that is not classed as service
Bad experience
Not a good experience. The cleaners did an average job of cleaning. They then left a shower head running over the back of the bath tub and caused a flood whilst we were out. It was clearly an accident but should have been admitted to and claimed on their insurance - instead the management just denied it was anything to do with them.
Daily Poppins Newbury have just started…
Daily Poppins Newbury have just started to help me in my home the service they have given me has been excellent and I am very pleased with the lovely ladies who come and help me. I can certainly recommend this company Thank you.

Confusing price quote and deceitful small court claim
Jim Morrison from Edinburgh Daily Poppin's gave a written quote of:
“To provide a 3 hour fortnightly clean would be £66.00”
I took this to mean and hourly rate of £11, which was comparable to other quotes (eg. Home Sweet Home).
The cleaners came and did an adequate job (they surface clean around items, so you need to pick them up if you want a more thorough clean).
2 cleaners came for 1 hour. I took this to mean £22 for the 2 hours.
I received a quote for £44 which I questioned. After to-and-fro emails Jim served me with a small claims form 3A which he sent by recorded delivery.
I paid the remaining £22, asked for the case number. He did not respond to my email and so I contacted the courts who confirmed Jim had not lodged and claim with them.
i.e he used scare tactics to get what he saw as the remainder of the monies owed.
I have copied the response I gave to the courts below.
Summary: If you decide to use Daily Poppin's, run by Certus Facilities Services, make sure to get a clear quote in writing (through this still may be challenged).
They do not list pricing on their website, and he did not send it again by email or text.
Jim was never unseemly threatening, but the whole process caused a lot of stress on top of my off-site busy job. I found it diff
Conceirge Leverage (CL) formally searched for a cleaning quote for our family. Jim repied on behalf of Daily Poppins stating “To provide a 3 hour fortnightly clean would be £66.00”.
A comprable quote from Home Sweet Home was £85 (£10/hr clean and £25/month flat membership fee).
I contacted Jim to arrange a home clean and told him how we found him through CL and the qupte he provided.
I asks several specifics, including how many people would come.
He said 2 cleaners come for ‘safety’ reasons and to carry items as they bring their own cleaning equiptment.
I asked specially for 3 hour clean. We had rented and moved in the flat 1 month back and with two children it needed a clean.
But he only had a 2 hour slot in the timeframe we were looking to book.
We agreed to 2 hours, instead of the 3 hours quoted, however, there was no mention that this would cause the hourly rate to double.
We paid £22 on 30/8/21. Of note, received no invoice before/after payment.

Thank you for your response to my review.
I realise franchises are tricky to standardise. In reply to your points:
1. Unclear prices*
There is no price list. This is the key to the confusion as I relied on Jim's unclear messaging of the price plan. In fact, the receipt left after cleaning did not have the price to pay, and when asked, the cleaners did not know and asked us to speak with Jim
2. Minimum wage*
since April 2021 is £8.91. Granted, your margins would be slim. Saying it is against the law however is emotive.
3. Jim's actions *
You didn't comment on you franchise owners actions of trickery in filling a small claims, when he didn't.
To Dailypoppins: please list prices for cities (even if it's a rough est as it could vary by post code.
To customers: If you are not getting a clear quote, for the price per man hour is not stated clearly, it would be sensible to walk away.

If you’re after an EOT clean then don’t bother wasting your money. For a six bedroom and three bathroom house, the cleaners left in under two hours and didn’t even do the basic cleaning required, like hoovering the carpets and dusting the skirtings. Yet, we still got charged £360 for a company who did the bare minimum. The best they could do was offer a reclean which our landlord and agency made clear to us not to bother as they couldn’t do their job properly in the first place. When asking what their hourly rate was, as their ‘clean’ certainly didn’t justify charging us this much, we never heard back…what a surprise. Definitely advise to go elsewhere and I certainly won’t be recommending this company to fellow students.
In response, it was an end of tenancy clean which meant we had no access to the flat after as we had to hand the keys back…how convenient…wonder if this happens with all EOT cleans where a reclean is worthless. And yes. You are well deserving of your 1 star for the reasons I’ve already stated above, like charging us £360 for not even two hours work. £180 an hour is absolutely ridiculous! Especially considering even the most basic cleaning wasn’t even done…far from a deep clean!
