I put down a deposit in April to secure a flight to Nigeria in December. The plan was to pay monthly till November, I made my first instalment payment in May. However by June I was able to make the rest of full payment of £708. Before making the payment, I asked if I could pay through paypal because its risky as their reviews are bad, I was told that their paypal account isn't working. This was Peter's (the agent) exact response copied from whatsapp:

***From company side we never breach any agreement with customer, in every scenario customer response or late instalment made a problem in booking. We hold seat and send the booking reference to customers which cost 75£ + 25 admin charges each time.
If we issue the ticket, company receive 25£ only.
rest of the amount go to Airline.

you can share review, I will share you their whatsapp and email responses as evidence. On trust Pilot we cannot share these details but our team always mentioned there if any customer need evidence of that bad review. from our end we will share the facts.******

Now I went ahead to trust them and made the rest of the payment of £708, now to issue my ticket became a problem, they gave me some stupid excuse about the airline about now being able to issue it till November. I said that was too risky, they refunded me £708 and wanted to offer me a AIR Maroc flight instead which rejected because I had told them from beginning I wanted a direct flight. Now to pay the rest of my £167 became a problem, I was told I will receive it on 7th August. 5 days later (12th August) no refund I'm now the one chasing it up, on Friday 14th August they paid £71 instead of £167....they still owe me £91!!

VERY BAD BUSINESS DO NOT TRUST THEM !!!! I have now had to make pay for my flight ticket somewhere else at a much higher rate than I had budgeted for.

Since December of 2025, I got to know about Damas and I can't be more thankful. They are fast, efficient, transparent and trustworthy. Their prices are also affordable and I've never experienced any scam or shady business with them. Anna is a staff member I have been working with and I hold her in high esteem. Her patience and professionalism need to be studied. I strongly recommend Damas to travellers.

I had a very disappointing experience with Damas Travel Agency and would not recommend them. I booked flights with them, and they confirmed my booking. However, after I had paid, they sent me a confirmation for completely different flights with different layover times than what I had originally agreed to. To make matters worse, they then emailed me saying I needed to pay an additional £200+
As I couldn't afford the increased cost, I requested a full refund. Instead of resolving the issue fairly, I was told they would deduct £75 as an "admin fee" even though the change to the booking was not my fault. Looking back, I made the mistake of ignoring the negative reviews and giving them the benefit of the doubt. I wish I had listened. I'm still waiting for my refund, which has only added to the frustration. I hope sharing my experience helps others avoid going through the same situation. Based on my experience, I would not use this company again.

Dear Damas Travels, kindly review your processes and operation procedures. In as much as you like to take £100 for a service you didn’t render, note that you are causing people pains. You know how difficult it is to get £1, yet you take it like it’s nothing. Let customers know what they are going into before asking them to make deposits and promising them that they can pay on instalments, you know that’s the only reason people will use your services. If instalments doesn’t work for you, then don’t frustrate people’s travel plans. I am really pained to have done business with your company. Please guys if you are not ready for a shocker, don’t deal. Like I said to you John, those people writing positive reviews needs to be investigated- to ascertain if they are not your family or partners in crime. You will pay in some way for defrauding me of £100 and also for spoiling my travel plans.

As someone who is always skeptical about using travel agents, I would say I am super impressed. Eva was excellent with organising my trip, very swift response too. I had to change my flight date and this was done without stress. overall excellent customer service. I’ll recommend any day any time👌

I am a first time customer and my experience was nothing but short of excellent, the customer services received from one of the agents.Eva, was great and the swift responses to my query sometimes made wonder if I was communicating with a bot 😀.

Very unreliable service. They pretend to be nice and helpful but then let you down last minute. The good reviews from Anna and Jessica are very misleading don’t be fooled.
