The company is not very reliable.

The company is not very reliable.
I placed an order for a gazebo with order number 30622390. I placed it on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 12:15 AM, I canceled it on Sunday the 16th. On Monday morning I get in touch and they say that it has already been sent and that they will charge me the €371 for shipping that they have not carried out.
Well, if they do not return it by good means, they must return it through the Courts.
Be careful with the opinions, almost all the positive ones have two or three opinions, a classic fake review maneuver. In addition, there are users who question the quality of their materials and ignore the complaints. complaints such as low quality materials, 50% of the material arrives, they do not show their face when there are problems, very kind to buy, 0 solution when there are problems.

Ensure all parts are packed

I have purchased three canopies from this company. NBR 1 had most parts missing due to terrible packaging. NBR 2 arrived in one piece. NBR 3 is missing a vital part to make it work. When asking for a replacement I was advised the 6 month warranty had expired. It had not and I was clear in my response in regard to timing and that the agent did not know the part required was important for the canopy to work. Alas no positive response to my emails. So I have a canopy that cannot work without this small plastic spacer that keeps the roller spindle in its housing and Dan Cover is unresponsive. So not happy. Seems the service has deteriorated over time.

Greenhouse not fit for Purpose

In Jan 2023 I purchased a GREENHOUSE POLYCARBONATE 5.92 M², 1.9X3.12X2.01 M W/BASE, GREEN for 503.55. It has been a constant frustration because the panels keep popping out. The greenhouse panels are now useless.

Dancover refuses to honor the warranty because they give you advice that is not necessry. This advice is given on the last page of the manual once the greenhouse has been erected.

They seem not to understand that once the panels are out you can't reinstall them without totally dismantling the frame otherwise the polycarbonate edges get frayed and won't fit the groves in the greenhouse frame.

The warranty as per page 2 of the online manual states.

“Dancover warranty applies only to the normal use of the greenhouse, normal wear and tear excepted, in accordance with written use instructions or manual. The warranty does not apply to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse or modification of the greenhouse.”

The damage caused to the greenhouse is neither by accident, abuse, misuse or modification of the greenhouse.

The customer service says,

“Furthermore, are external damages not covered by the warranty rights, as this has nothing to do with the plates to storm and wind damages.”

Where is this “external damages” shown in the warranty clause as per the manual?

The result is that I am left with a €500+ product that now has no value as a greenhouse.

If you are considering buying this greenhouse from Dancover be aware when you submit a claim under warranty that they begin to add exceptions to the warranty that aren't shown in the notes included in the plans should you ever make a claim for damage to the product.

It seems clear to me that they have no idea that once these panels are blown out by wind, which happened in my case, that you can’t put them back.

If you want a greenhouse then make sure you have no wind blowing in your area at anytime because that is the length of time you will have a greenhouse with all the panels in it. The first time the panels pop you won't get them back in.

Customer service advises me that I can buy replacement panels for €50.43 each plus carriage. What they don’t say is that once you buy the panels you need to have the tools to cut them to size and need to dismantle the whole greenhouse in order to be able to insert thee polycarbonate panels because otherwise you will damage the edges.

In conclusion this product is not fit for purpose if you have any wind moving through your garden. If the panels are blown out you need to dismantle the greenhouse to replace any one of them.

I wouldn't place any faith in any warranty given by Dancover as it appears to me that they are prepared to introduce additional conditions as per the circumstances of the claim so that they can avoid paying out for products not fit for purpose.
