Very efficient and speedy service - would have no reservation in using Daniels again in the future

The whole experience was what I expected from a department store that proud itself on customer satisfaction. The website was great from choosing the right product to paying. The price was the best I found and delivery was prompt and on time.

I was looking for some new boots and after having dreadful and rude service in the jones shoe shop , I was met by a very friendly lady called Rosanna in the Moda in pelle section who helped me pick out the perfect boots she was so lovely I didn’t even ask the price and just paid she was amazing and a asset to your business, I even left with my new boots on .

Before this last transaction I would have nothing but high praise for Daniels instead of which a Dad's Army approach to customer service means they get a poor rating.
I ordered a very expensive bed for which I waited for months. On delivery I drew to the Company's attention that the bed was substandard and faulty. I was advised to note this on the delivery note and they would not take it away when I asked for this. I said I wanted the bed that they were removing back. Again they refused to do this. After much chasing and speaking to various members of staff I am told I cannot get a refund and then pay when the bed that I ordered is being delivered as the substandard bed is in situ. All of this could have been avoided if a. They check items before delivery and b. Had they taken away the substandard bed when requested to do so. They create the problem and then expect you to believe they offer exceptional service. Exceptional bad service is more like it. V unhappy and appalled by their inexplicable attitude. Left hand doesn't know what they are doing so you talk to one person who says he will call back and then someone with whom you didn't even speak and who doesn't find out what happened to my bed writes to me not having addressed the issue. Fox in charge of the hen coop. Beware as they just abandon customer service when they muck up!

What a brilliant store. Such a huge variety of items and the toy department is fantastic. Customer service is great too. Would definately recommend.

My first time shopping with Daniel Department Store and I will definitely buy again. Quick service and pillow excellent. Have used Dunlopillow pillows for 30 years and was worried that the quality might not be the same now they are Relyon but fears unfounded. My nephew had an excellent nights sleep and is chuffed with his new pillow.

Relyon Ullswater Mattress. I am awarding 5 stars to Daniel because they offered a generous discount and 2 very pleasant guys delivered it and removed the old one exactly as arranged. However the mattress is not as comfortable as I had hoped. A bit too firm for my liking and the pillow top does not really compensate for this.

Brilliant service - and fantastic quality pillowcase. Will be using Daniel Stores more often - these are the kind of businesses we all need to support.

Bought a Relyon latex pillow in June this year cost £70 pillow seamed very comfortable at first. However, the pillow feels no longer supportive as you have to every night rotate the pillow when sleeping.
Also, the cover is very poor quality only washed it twice as i use a pillowcase zip is stuck and won't zip back fully.
Contacted this company and Relyon regarding this with photo evidence. Relyon didn’t want to know as the problem lies with the retailer. This company had the cheek to ask me to send it back at my cost regardless of the 5year warranty that comes with this pillow. After asking them for a returns label they said my email has been forwarded onto Relyon. Not heard anything from ither so basically, they couldn’t care less am now stuck with this expensive so-called latex pillow they claim has 5 years warranty and never loses its shape NOT!!
Disappointed will never use this company again nor will I buy any of Relyon products. Now using my memory foam pillow bought a few years back which has brilliant support and very rarely you have to rotate it costing half the price. Shame as delivery was quick but aftersales support is shambles.

I am very happy with my order of the Breasley Uno mattress, I ordered online and was kept informed as to delivery. The mattress is so comfortable and easy to rotate.
I would recommend this store for their excellent service.

I love this pillow. Been after one for while. Order process easy but was not notified when it was dispatched. Tracking would have helped, but still arrived within a few days.
