It's been over 42 days since i ordered a genome test kit and they still have not even shipped my package. im feeling scammed.

I sent my sample to Dante Labs in 2023 and it was confirmed as received. Since then there has been no result, no meaningful update, and no proper response from the company.

The situation became even worse when the original results portal was shut down. They launched a new platform called Danteomics, but when I log in there is no trace of my sample or my order. It is as if everything simply disappeared.

At this point the situation is very clear: Dante Labs is a scam company. They take payments, receive samples, and then fail to deliver results or provide any accountability.

I ordered my kit in January 2024 and after more than a year and a half, the status is still stuck at “quality check process”. Two weeks ago, Dante Labs even deleted my account. I can’t log in anymore, and even after requesting a new password, I never receive any reset email.

This experience has been extremely frustrating. I spent money, trusted this company with my genetic data, and received nothing in return. No proper communication, no transparency, and now no access to my own account.

I cannot recommend Dante Labs. Be very careful before ordering from them.

If you request a refund in accordance with their refund policy, they will simply ghost you and never respond again. They will also delay delay delay and never offer service.

What they are running is essentially a scam. Do not give them any money.

I was afraid I'd never get my results (from January 2024) but I finally received them now in June 2025.
As I understood the company was in a lot of problems but seems to be coming back now.
The customer support is replying again and after that they really did start sequencing when they said my batch would start.
Since I already used their service back in the days before the problems started I checked the kinship factor (my 2nd kit was for a parent) and the data appeared good; the number of reads also and the free reports were ok.
Hopeful they manage to normalize their operations and provide everybody with the data. I always expected more delay with them, which was ok for the great price, but I was really afraid I wouldn't get results when the problems started, however I'm happy I finally got my results so I'm updating my review to 4 stars.

Total lack of communication. No answer to anything.

Absolutely horrendous scam operation. Sent my sample six months ago (USPS tracking confirmed they received it). Since then I have not heard a single update from them, all my emails have gone unanswered and there have been zero updates from my account. I finally decided to initiate a chargeback today, which I warned them several times about.

EDIT: Oh, well whaddya know. Now that I filed a chargeback they mysteriously found my sample. How 'bout that.

A massive scamming company. So many people cheated. Included myself. I bought their test in June 2023 and did not receive results. They don't even care to answer to emails anymore.

Paid for full genome sequencing over a year ago, still no results, no reply to follow up query. NADA. Stay away!

I and thousands of other people have been waiting more than 18 months for results!

Horrible company. The results take months and months above promised, support cannot help
