The hiking socks eventually wore out after 4 years, but there was no problem ordering a replacement.

I have trouble with friction and blisters when hiking and every other brand of socks I've tried wears out in less than a year. I have several pairs of Darn Tough socks now and it's the only brand I would consider using now. They're expensive it, but worth it for the quality and the lack of blisters!

This review is based on 1 month of testing the light-weight calf height socks (nearly daily use, 3 wash cycles done).

These socks are incredibly comfortable. I can wear my leather boots all day without my feet hurting at the end of the day. They have a “premium” feel, and so far, they have resisted the wear and tear of my boots, so I have no reason to believe they are of poor quality.

However, the claim that they should have no odor is not entirely accurate; they do develop a slight odor after repeated use, but it’s far less than my other socks. (I’ll test this during the summer to see if the other pairs of socks I’ve bought from them also resist odor.)

I can’t comment on the lifetime warranty claim since I haven’t used it yet. I’ll update my review if my opinion changes.

Appreciate my oldest pair of DT socks are only a year old, but super happy with the ones I have. I have bought another ten pairs. Finally socks that last! Will never buy other brands of socks again. 🧦

Best socks ever - bought over 10 yrs ago and only just developed small holes. Replaced free with no hassle.

I hesitated on spending so much on a single pair of socks, but bought in to hype around its durability.

I have worn the crew pair once and already threads loose and worst still they move under foot considerably. I am constantly having to realign them.

I am convinced now their online shop reviews are not genuine as you do not find a single complaint. In fact I just checked and there is no where for a customer like me to post a review!!!

When you find socks as good as these you dont need any others. Match this with excellent customer service and an easy,helpful warranty system. The performance of these socks in Hiking, running and everyday wear is the best to me.

I’m a big fan of darn tough socks. I have had a couple pairs for a long time and just got some more pairs here recently. I’d recommend them for someone wants a quality wool sock that has a great warranty.

Bad reviews here are insane people seriously. Crying because they want to destroy only one sock and keep the other but still get full money back… those people are a joke. So here an honest review by a normal guy, not a loony. This brand is the best. Products are amazing and you can keep them for years without problems (which is rare for merino products). And what’s even better ? When they are no longer good, they give you your money back with only few pics and done. In few days you can buy yourself new socks for free. I’m slowly only buying darn tough socks and if one day they manage to create underwear of this quality, I’ll buy it without hesitation too. So don’t listen to the loonies giving 1 star to this incredible company. This is a 5+ stars company without a doubt. They provide you the service they advertise. Lifetime Warranty isn’t a joke here.

To get your replacement socks you have to send a picture of both socks chopped off - if one sock is damaged - don’t even think of sending a picture of just that sock - if you do they refund you for one sock!!! Hilarious and ridiculous at the same time / you can’t buy one sock but they will refund you for one! What madness is that

I bought the white tab no show socks and they’re absolutely amazing quality. I will be going back to buy a load of their black crew socks shortly. I had an issue with one pair that came damaged and they replaced instantly without fuss, fantastic customer service.

I was an instant super fan. Most comfortable socks in the world. Told all my friends about the comfort and forever warranty. Then I have a sock rip open. I go to use the warranty and you have to pay to ship the sock back.
So I'm going to pay $15 bucks to ship back a sock to get the $20 sock warranty? This warranty is a LIE! You are saving $5 bucks.

I feel so lied to.

I get you need a way to verify people are telling the tough but my goodness have them submit photos/videos. If we have to pay 75% of the costs to ship it your warranty is no longer helping much.

I tested a pair of DarnTough socks and while they seem very sturdy, I went with Bombas socks instead - since Bombas socks were a lot more comfortable and slightly more affordable as well.

The excessive email spam I have received from Darn Tough in recent weeks has motivated me to write this review.

Amazed by the fast shipping process, in Europe. Ordered in the weekend, arrived on monday. Does Darn Tough even sleep at night, or do they just continue knitting and shipping? The socks are lovely and not a single lie is told. Even the heavyweight no show socks I bought, provided me with comfort on hot days. No hot and sweaty feet and ironically, the sock fits like a glove! No other sock did ever fit that well in my life. I'm even more surprised by their thermoregulating properties and comfort than I thought I'd be. I'd love to finish this review but I'm afraid this is all there is for at least the next 10+ years, which is obviously a good thing. These are, in fact, the best socks I've ever owned. I don't want to take them off for washing but I know I have to.

My favourite socks, I have worn Darn Tough socks for years and would recommend them for comfort, warmth and durability , the designs and colours are great too 👍 I tried looking at cheaper socks for hiking and they are just not as good , I found the customer service good too

After 4 years of regular use one of the socks had an issue with wear on the cuff. The warrenty process was simple and very responsive. I am looking forward to receiving my replacement pair of socks so that I can continue to enjoy the use of my most comfortable socks.

Does anyone know why customer service never answers the phone?!
