I'm sad to leave a terrible review on here but if I can help one person so be it. I've had a range of the Dasai range advertised to me over a good length of time, as soon as I saw the Yamanote Line Mochi, I knew I had to have it!
Unfortunately, I feel like the product isn't clearly stated what you're actually getting. The packaging is great, design is cool. However straight out of the box, the screen of my Mochi looked a little scratched. I plugged my mochi in (not realising it has to be usb powered in order to work - not USB-charged like most products created today. Here's the kicker - the Yamanote animations ONLY work when first plugging in/starting up your Mochi. Every other animation is just a loop when turned on.
I sent an email to the store only to find out they do not accept returns. To spend $95AUD on a product and not being able to return it shows how much these people believe in their product and customer satisfaction.
I will not be buying products from this store in future, I'm disappointed and can only hope that I can resell the product to try make up for my loss.

Overall great experience buying new and innovative car products. Mochi companion and the gundam version are amazing along with the ultimate passenger box. Mochi adds to my daily drive and errand runs and always puts a smile on my face. Love the products and culture from Dasai. They got a faithful customer for life.

The Mochi is a great product, but it does not excuse the terrible customer service that they have.

Placed an order for a pre-order of the Tokyo Mochi, along with a chrome helmet on 21 April, with an estimated lead time of 45 days. Today is 1st July and they still have not shipped my order, or have updated me on the status of it.

Only when I sent it an email, that they mentioned that my order is on hold due to the chrome helmet being out of stock with no ETA nor any in production, and did not bother to check in with me or update me about this. And their only response is to choose another helmet so that the order can be shipped.

What pisses me off the most is that they make certain items available for order, yet even with the long lead times, they are unable to fulfil them, and tell us to just accept another and suck it up.
