Poor loyalty scheme …

Decent service but the loyalty scheme is a waste of time - bit of a con. There is no way to check on the app your points total. Calling the office numerous times and speaking to various people was an absolute waste of time. I was on a trip and they said I could use my points and in the end there was no way to use them - disappointing. If you have a loyalty scheme make it clear on how to use it - and disappointed not to be able to resolve it - no where in the app details your points. Would be good to be transparent

Awful!

Awful!! Pre booked a cab the week before to take me to meet my mums funeral limo at the funeral home. Didn’t show didn’t call or text and when I rang they said we will try and get a cab to me in 20 mins. I would have missed the funeral procession! Guy on the phone didn’t care when I explained the urgency. AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pre booked this car service over 24…

Pre booked this car service over 24 hours in advance due to us needing to catch a train but our efforts were a complete waste of time, the cab did not turn up and it was 15 min late at this stage and at least another 10 minutes away according to their app

Complete and utter incompetence at the highest level couldn’t organise a good drink in a brewery if they tried

I will never use them or recommend them again and will always warn people if they’re incompetence and unprofessional attitude

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!

Late or seriously late almost every time we have used them over the past few months. Aborted journey by taxi and forced to take the train. Almost missed flights. Totally unreliable and seemingly totally unconcerned about their dreadful service. Never again.

If only ‘zero stars’ was an option.

Last night I requested a cab from SE13 to N7 and was told it would be a 20 minute wait. I was contacted again and told 30 minutes. And then again to be told 5 minutes! And then another call: sorry it’s 30 minutes again. They kept on calling every 5 minutes for a further 45 minutes to tell me that my car would be there in 15 to 20 minutes. I wish I was joking. After an hour and five minutes of this insanity I told them to shove it and I got the train.

I used 3 times this taxi.
One time was little waiting.
Basically l had nice experience.
I am thinking very good organised company. For me all standards very high.

Specially instructed the Data Cars…

Specially instructed the Data Cars Operator the exact location and time for pick up the driver got lost when clearly stated the post code of the address and was forty minutes late will not be using their company again they have gone downhill as a taxi cab firm!

Tell the thruth if you brag your the biggest cab company in the south east prove it by providing a cab
Also if you are charging double time at xmas how comes a fare one way is £18 and on the way back its £25. It seems the managment have no control over there drivers and simply just turn a blind eye. Wont be using again and suggest you do the same.

Good for trips to airport not for coming back

Okay, generally data cars are my go to firm for getting me to airports. They come on time and get me to the airport comfortably. Pick ups from any airport are a different story altogether. But a special mention should be given pick ups from Stansted. My last last 4 or 5 times have been unmitigated disasters. Yes, on my most recent trip it was explained to me that the taxi was an hour late because of an accident on the M11. (Don't know if there was but not second guessing that). But the "I'll be there in 20 minutes" on various occasions got a bit boring after a long day's travel, particularly when the automated response was telling me 50 minutes! Then finding the driver at Stansted is a lottery. One car in the past drove off with different passengers and had to come back for me. Blimey. So, good for runs to the airport: not so much from the airport. This was my last time.

absolute waste of time

absolute waste of time, booked a car for 3:30am to catch a flight, called was told the car was 2 mins at 3:25, called again at 3:33 and received a voice saying that it was 42 mins away!
called the driver and he said he had only just started but was about a 40 minute drive from me, meaning i would then be late for my flight as i wouldn’t arrive til gone 5am.
had to get another way there , RUBBISH

Datacars brilliant

Datacars as a company are brilliant to work for the management are kind and courteous and helpful. As for driver complaints I would put this down to transport for London allowing drivers to work on different platforms which datacars have no control and cannot monitor driving hours therefore tiredness kicks in. Datacars are only a booking agency and have no control over drivers how they work, again this is due to Tfl licencing regulations. We do have credit card option via a payment link sent out automatically and all airports are fix price 95% of the time and carpark charges are customers responsibility.

Useless company to work for

Useless company to work for. The management has really rude staff and very rude service towards drivers, their attitude absolutely stinks. Especially Driver liaison those guy needs to retire from the company.
Looks like they had enough of the company he needs to find an alternative, they don’t have to stick around if they enjoy working anymore.

I booked a taxi the night before for a trip into central London for 9am.

The taxi was supposed to arrive at 0745, but arrived at 0915. The driver was drinking a coffee form Costa, meaning he stopped to get coffee before attending to his job, regardless of the fact that he was late. He wasn't in a hurry. Meanwhile,my 9am meeting was a very important meeting.

Upon complaining, I was offered points! Highly disappointed to say the least! Never again

Booked in advance to take us early in…

Booked in advance to take us early in the morning to DLR station in Woolwich for transfer to London City Airport. The app kept telling us a driver was being assigned but nothing was happening and we needed to catch a flight. Fifteen minutes after agreed pick up time and getting stressed, we had to cancel and call an Uber instead. Will never try to use again.

Awful and dangerous

I booked a car to take my daughter to Heathrow last week. The driver was clearly tired and driving dangerously slow, even on the motorway. He swyed between lanes and didn’t seem to know where he was going. At the drop off I called data cars and submitted a complaint- until now no one has called me back.

Absolutely a waste of time

Absolutely a waste of time. Only use this company if you’re not worried about getting anywhere on time. I would try Uber or bolt first. Data have no idea what they’re doing, tell lies and rip you off.
