No less dishonest than any other dating website
I tend to take reviews of dating sites with a pinch of salt, so signed up to see if the reviews were true. One key feature this website has is setting up a personalised message that will, supposedly, send automatically to people the algorithm deems suitable for yourself. This can be customised on signing up, and also in the advanced settings, as well as you being able to disable it.
Thing is, I don't believe this feature is actually used as intended, but when your account becomes inactive, even going as far as "viewing" your profile to make the interaction seem genuine. I decided to bite the bullet and sign up for a month for about £22. Viewing the messages I received, they were clearly generic automated messages that, I'm guessing, weren't changed when the user originally signed up. I got no response back when I replied to these messages, which made me believe they are inactive accounts. There are, of course, actual fake accounts, but these are easy to spot. I mean, this is a dating site specifically for gamers. If a profile doesn't mention anything about gaming, naturally I would be suspicious and move on. You can't even report these accounts quickly like other dating sites. You have to make a note of their username, and try and find the support section and log a ticket.
I've noted that others have had difficulties cancelling their membership. The Contact Us page you find when you click the cog icon only shows Category and Message, with no fields to provide contact details, so I don't think this form actually works. Best way to contact them is to go to FAQs, and click the green ? bubble in the bottom right corner. This enables you to log a ticket in Zendesk, and the support are very quick to respond, even at weekends. I got a refund, minus £10 admin fee and taking into account the couple of days I had used the membership, so I got £10 back. Better than nothing, I guess.
In summary, Dateplayertwo uses dishonest tactics to get you to part ways with your money, but I feel that's no different to every other dating site these days. One to definitely avoid.
Cancelled My Membership 3 Times
I have tried to cancel my membership 3 times. I keep getting charged the $60 to use this membership. It's ridiculous, its annoying. I needed that money and they keep taking it and won't cancel the account. I'm infuriated. I don't even know what to do anymore. I want a refund but I probably won't be able to get one because this cite is infuriating with basically zero customer service help.
Misleading, confusing and disappointing!
Most of the interactive functions are behind a paywall and all of the information regarding memberships and payment options is not clear or concise. This is leading to myself and many others it seems have been taken advantage of. Personally I would avoid this site as there are better options on the market but if you do please read through the membership and terms and conditions VERY CAREFULLY as everything is in small print and if u make a mistake there are no refunds!!! Lesson learnt!
Real shittily done service
I saw an ad on Instagram and I liked the idea. Saw that the free had "limited messaging" so thought it would be an interesting look. Apparently by that it means to see that you were sent a message but not even get to read it. Not a good first impression.
Too much hidden behind a pay wall
Too much hidden behind a pay wall. Also not many people who use the site are Geeks. I refuse to pay as it is very expensive in my opinion. Also kind of weird as I have some of the men on there put pregnant on their profile.
Absolute scam
Absolute scam, you cannot do anything without paying for VIP, you will receive a heap of interest while not a VIP with messages flowing in from bot accounts. Once you pay to see the messages they are random generic questions prying for information on your personal circumstances. THIS IS PURELY AN INFORMATION PHISHING SCAM!!! DO NOT JOIN OR GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION. I have since cancelled my card and issued a charge back, disgusting taking advantage of peoples emotional states. F these guys.
DO NOT ENTER YOUR CARD DETAILS ON THIS SITE!
Only found this website today but got my account deleted not long after. Seems like a scam as you cannot do anything without paying for "premium" which I never do on any dating site. DO NOT ENTER YOUR CARD DETAILS ON THIS SITE!
dodgy , likely a scam.
Very limited capabilities without paying, tons of bots and no way to talk to anyone without getting your card out. Super disappointing. To top it off no way to close your account without requesting it.
DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS
DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS! A COMPLETE SCAM. ALL FAKE BOT PROFILES AND ITS A NIGHTMARE TO CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Fake
Fake. You get bot generate messages from fake profiles. If you reply - you get no reply back. Suddenly you get a reply, just two days before your monthly renewal date, funnily enough. No option to delete your account, leaving your personal data on there (pretty sure they're contravening GDPR). You have to submit a support ticket, which leads to you getting another email form another support site. In short, yet more scummy people, making the world a scummier place. Don't give them anything and let's hope they leave this planet sooner rather than later without any progeny.
Unusable
Incredibly expensive VIP service, that is basically mandatory. The free experience will get no results as you can't see messages at all and cant see to view the profiles of those that send messages.
AVOID AVOID AVOID
Appauling service. Paid for VIP and decided within an hour it wasn't worth it. Contacted to close my account and request a refund and they have decided I am not applicable for a full refund and have only offered less than half what was paid. I have since contacted my bank to request a chargeback to be issued.

Date Player Two - Personal Experience
Genuine review of this site to help anyone out there.
Average girl here, I have been using this site for over three months and in the end I had no luck.
1) As a free user you receive tonnes of “likes” from supposed interested people but you can’t view them and they just sit there piling up.
2) Of course to have any hope of using the basic functions of this site, you have to pay.
3) If you get caught out putting anything that is banned (no way of knowing what those things are), your profile gets altered automatically with false info you didn’t write, until you re-write something accepted by the site, but of course your not told your profile has changed to that of an obvious suspect bot that will scare away anyone who reads it - I think that’s what the “4ft11” thing is about.
4) Very few people are active here because you have to pay to talk to people, and automatic intro messages get sent out which may or may not be from active/genuine accounts.
5) when you do get a chance to reply, the account you respond to is most likely blank with only one picture, that again, may not be real.
6) Sooo, I took the bait and paid to try out this site as a paid user. Essentially you get to see who “liked” you and message freely, however after a few months I haven’t spoken to anyone with a real account and haven’t had a single date. Not mad (I knew it was a long shot), but a tad disappointing.
Anyway just a heads up for the few genuine hopefuls wondering if this site works. I’ll be happy if this helps one person not invest too much time and effort there.
Not here to sway anyone for or against using this site, just wanted to share my experience.
