Daughters of India claims to be an ethical company, but their treatment of customers suggests otherwise. Their unforgiving return policy can result in a substantial loss of 150-200 euros, leaving customers feeling frustrated and unsupported.
Despite polite responses to negative reviews, the company offers no genuine solutions to customer issues. Their words ring hollow and lack authenticity.
As a customer, I deeply regret my purchase from Daughters of India. It has been the most disappointing shopping experience I have ever had. Awfully cheap dresses, that aren’t cheap to buy! Can find identical dresses on Temu which makes me think that’s where you’re buying them from & reselling them for extortionate prices. The quality is definitely Temu quality.

Paper thin material
Paper thin material, poorly cut, horrific returns policy. Currently I'm stuck with a voucher for a company I will NEVER buy from again. Daylight robbery. Unless you like your dresses see through, don't waste your money.
Edit: their response is laughable. Refusing to refund people has nothing to do with sustainability.

Purchased a Kyra in black doesn’t suit me at all .. disappointed. Will keep it as lounge wear as DOI does not offer refunds only exchange / credit note .

I bought a dress and it arrived and smelled like gasoline. The fabric was scratchy and rough. I was only refunded shipping costs. They did not refund my full amount. I now have to call my bank. AWFUL experience.
