The program provides a lot of information and there is excellent communication from the team.
I found out about David Wang Fitness through Instagram. I gave it a like as it seemed more sustainable and not the typical crash diets accompanied with hours upon hours in the gym. That is what really captured my attention. A day or so later, David reached out to me and we had a conversation about what my fitness and nutrition goals were. We decided to do a phone consultation and then I locked in to the program. From there, I was partnered with my coach, Parker.
I am still in the program and have no complaints. It has been great. In 10 weeks, I am down 29 lbs from when I first talked to David about joining. The best part is there is no restrictions on food. You are taught how to be mindful of what you consume and how much of it. Parker has been great as a coach. If I have a question, he is on it and has an answer for me asap. I cannot recommend this program enough. The guidance is worth it's weight in gold. This is something you can do and continue to do. No more fad diets and spending countless hours in the gym each day. If you are thinking about joining, dont think, just do! You will not regret your decision.
Parker and David have hit on a really awesome formula for sustained fitness - an emphasis on the mental aspect of establishing a sustainable fitness lifestyle coupled with engineering-like approach to training and diet.
My body felt worn down and overworked with my last trainer. Parker and David really took the time to understand my goals and physical limitations and put together a sustainable plan for me both from a diet but also workout standpoint.
I love being able to connect with Parker anytime I have questions. His guidance in grounded in science and is always on point and easy to understand. Being an engineer, this really resonates with me. It’s practical and empirical. I’ve lost 6 lbs in 6 weeks so far and my body feels great. Rather than prescribing a rigid program, they create a program suited to your unique needs. But they also teach you the basic principles so that you can modify the program in the future as your needs change. DW Fitness really embodies the ethos of 'feed a man fish, and he'll eat for a day; teach a man how to fish, and he'll never go hungry in his life'.
When I started working with them, I was constantly battling minor injuries and as a result was unable to trust my body. Those injuries also led to inactivity and general laziness (both mental and physical). My coach, Parker selected exercises that took into account my injuries while helping me gain strength and muscle.
The regular feedback sessions with him were also very useful; they helped me improve my form and helped Parker to further tailor the program to my unique needs and goals. Another great part of the program were the weekly community calls; celebrating our peer's wins is very motivational, and David and Parker take the time to research and teach us about a topic that we want requested the week before.
All in all, I'm now able to trust my body, and push through injuries without catastrophizing about them. I'm also able to go into the gym and pick up heavier weights without fear. Of course, my physique is looking much better (I've started seeing my abs, hahaha), and my mind is clearer and I feel more focused and active.
I've loved training with David Wang Fitness! Parker and David really know their stuff. It's been beneficial to have regular contact and have Parker in my corner really keeping me accountable with my nutrition and helping me by modifying workouts to fit my needs and circumstances. I travel a lot so having guides on what to look for when I go out to eat and having workouts for the gym and when I'm home really helped me hone my physique and attitude towards fitness as a lifestyle. I have had a great experience with David Wang Fitness and would recommend them to anyone serious about their fitness goals. I had tried other online trainers in the past but became stuck in my journey, but not with David Wang Fitness. David and his team have a wholistic approach to fitness goals, from teaching nutrition, work out programs, and mindset. David and his team go deep into teaching clients how to develop meal plans to stay within calorie budgets and meeting nutrient goals for muscle growth. For workouts they teach about the importance of proper form, reps, and compound exercises. Their focus on mindset is unlike anyone else, I haven’t seen anyone else provide morning meditations, and meditations to develop gratitude.
But the personal coaching is the best. I have been working with Parker and he has been very supportive throughout the whole process. He has modified my workouts for my busy lifestyle. I never thought I’d be able to do an effective workout with resistance bands and basic equipment at the hotel gym. Even while being injured, Parker was able to suggest reducing weight and modifying exercises to continue training. I’ve lost 17 pounds in three months so far with their help. I’m so grateful for their assistance that I’ve decided to sign up for an additional year. I can’t wait to see the results.

I've been working with David Wang Fitness for two and a half years now, and it has been a life-changing experience. Before I started with David Wang fitness I was having some health issues. After the first month I was starting to feel more like myself again. By the time I finished the first program I had gotten me back. I wasn’t able to afford the second run, but thanks to this program I was able to keep up consistently, and I still have an exercise routine. First of all, these guys are the bees knees and are so supportive and amazing that it really feels like a family house down boots, they slay the competition in all categories. I've followed David for years and I just knew his mindset was the right fit for me. His approach to this personalized program is holistic and specific to your needs, and his team does not only help you with training, but nutrition and mindfulness and mindset and community. David Lucas and David Wang have coached me through a marathon, a half marathon, and two triathlons, and with David L's coaching I've been able to change my weekly trainings in ways that aligned with all my races and PR goals. Nutrition has been particularly tough as I entered racing season, but with David L's help, I've managed to lose 11 lbs (152lbs to 141lbs) in the last 7 months, all while gaining muscle and maintaining the right nutrition to perform well during races. As someone with a very VERY chaotic and hectic schedule, staying consistent and motivated is really tough, and David L's has been able to not only keep me accountable, but also help me get back up after days where I've not felt my best or was slacking. Really, these two have been there whenever I feel like giving up, and it truly makes the difference between reaching your goals or not. Absolutely recommend.

I've been part of this journey for about 3 years, and I've enjoyed my time with the program. I've learned so much regarding training, gym safety, and improving my diet. I've lost over 40lbs of weight and I then worked to gain over 20lbs of lean muscle.
