This is the first negative review I’ve…

This is the first negative review I’ve ever left, but unfortunately our experience warrants it.
We spent $780 preparing for our first baby, purchasing a crib and dresser. The dresser arrived mostly fine, with a few minor scuffs that I chose not to raise. However, the crib backboard arrived with multiple splits in the wood and damaged metal assembly brackets, making it extremely difficult to assemble. I had to re-tap the metal holes just to remove fragments and make it usable, which is not something you expect when buying new nursery furniture.
After raising concerns, a replacement backboard was sent. Unfortunately, the replacement arrived in even worse condition, with additional cracks, blemishes, and scuffs. At that point, my frustration was understandably high.
I was offered 15% back on the crib (about $57) for the trouble, which felt completely inadequate given:
* Two damaged deliveries
* Time spent fixing manufacturing issues
* The stress of dealing with this while our baby is due any day
When I challenged this, I was told I could return the crib for a full refund (fair) but that simply wasn’t a realistic option so close to our due date. I suggested 30% as a more reasonable compromise, which might have left us feeling less sour and more willing to recommend the company. Unfortunately, there was little to no compassion or flexibility shown, despite the circumstances.
It’s disappointing, especially when you’re buying something so important for your first child. Quality control and customer care in situations like this really matter and in our case, both fell short. Disappointing

Couldn't believe their fees, went elsewhere

My daughter wants the Suzy glider/recliner and when I just went to check out, they're trying to charge me $23.98 for "free returns" on an item that costs $399. Lol A return wouldn't be free if you're charging people.
The only reason a return would be needed is if there's damage to the furniture and their going to charge me for their possible damaged product?

What company charges you for a return that might or might not even happen?
They also want a whopping $50 for delivery. Unbelievably high delivery charge. If I would have bought from them the $399 chair suddenly became $514.38.
Thank goodness this chair was available at Kohls (free delivery & $00 for returns), Walmart (free delivery & $00 for returns), Wayfair (free delivery & $00 for returns).
Their loss because I bought from Wayfair and Davincibaby.com made a lot less money on the chair. All because of their ridiculous fees.
They should reconsider their extremely high return fee (6%) and delivery fee (12.5%). With tax added, all their "extra" fees amounted to 29% over price of chair.
