I bought this to replace an expensive broken durston led bench lamp that had many LEDs. In comparison this seems as bright, but doesn't have the same spread so I need to point it at my work a bit more. On the positive side this is an inexpensive bulb and it's installed in a lamp with a fuse so I won't have to throw out the entire lamp out if something breaks. A compatible inexpensive clamp on anglepoise lamp is available from IKEA.
