Great service value for money Julia the first point of contact very helpfull friendly and knowledgeable and very prompt. Would advise anyone to use them.

I paid for a buildings survey and valuation. The report contained obvious errors, referring to the kitchen as bathroom and the valuation was never provided. I queried this and was told the surveyor would send it upon return from their holiday. I waited 2-3 weeks then arranged a separate valuation as I needed one for mortgage purposes. I requested a refund for the valuation aspect and was offered £20. This was never paid and a follow up email after a couple of weeks was ignored. Avoid this company. It'll probably come up as one of the cheapest on comparison sites. They are cheap for a reason. Cheap service all round

I highly recommend DB Associates for their OUTSTANDING service. As a first-time buyer, I really appreciated their clear communication, professionalism, and efficiency. We had an issue initially when the seller refused access to the property, but they rescheduled without any extra charge and fit me in as soon as they could, even though they were fully booked!

The report was thorough, with clear photos, and I received it the day after the survey—SUPER EFFICIENT! They were also the most affordable out of all the quotes I got. I’ll definitely use them again in the future and recommend them to friends. Thank you so much, DB Associates!

Initially very helpful on the phone, although it took until the day before the survey to get the agreement via email for us to sign. It then took *20 days* to get the report, up from the 3-5 working days we were told it would take. Eventually getting the report was solely due to repeated phone calls and emails asking for it, which were either calls not picked up at all, emails ignored or empty promises made by the secretary answering the phone that we would be called back, which never happened. Finally, after receiving the report, we spent two weeks asking for clarification on a few issues highlighted in the survey (as noted was necessary by our solicitor as they did not have the answers) to be met with the same treatment. The sole saving grace is that it did flag up some serious problems, but then most of them were also found by our solicitor.

Overall; disorganised, rude and not worth your money. I wholeheartedly do not recommend using this company. Cheap for a reason.

Building survey level 3 .Was carried out but what a joke .Person who done ,don't even know , what is non standard construction house was made .He don't even bother go up loft and check roof etc .Just take images .Survey is waste time and money . Nothing we don't know .

Can't fault their service at all. The best price by far, a thorough report and quickly written up. You always worry a bit if it is the cheapest quote, but I honestly can not recommend the highly enough.
Would use again in a heart beat.

Contacted between Christmas and new year which they where closed however still replied to let me know when they’d be back open. Great contact from Courtney in the office who kept me up to date throughout. The survey was completed quickly and efficiently and the report came earlier than expected. Price could not be beaten. The service was great I would highly recommend.

Price was good and the survey was carried out in a good time frame, however I had a lot of trouble with documentation and communication. Every document I received (including my survey) was wrong in some way, usually they had different names on. Part of the survey was missing so I had to have an amended copy sent out. When I raised concerns regarding the incorrect details (as it was always someone elses name or incorrect addresses) I was brushed aside. Real shame as it was all done quite quickly and aside from this I was happy with the service, but it did raise concerns surrounding GDPR.

Great service at an excellent price. We've just completed on our house purchase, but some weeks ago DB Associated Chartered Surveyors were an important part of that for us. Their survey picked up details that we felt we'd missed, despite being old hands at looking at properties, as well as highlighting issues that we important for inspections on the boiler and some minor maintenance that we will be doing once we've moved in. They gave an estimated date for the report, and delivered it a day early. That might just be good advertising, but most people don't buy and sell houses often enough to make it worth doing - I prefer to think it's good practise. Because we're moving several hundred miles, when I asked if they could recommend local people to undertake some of the work they provided several certified people that they work with. It's easy enough to google someone these days, but for carpenters, plumbers and the like, I still prefer a word of mouth recommendation too. Our estate agent also recommended a surveyor, who rolled in at significantly more than this price - I passed their details over to the estate agent and after the service and report I got, I really hope they get a lot more work from it.
