Slow despatch, no communication. Rubbish customer service!

I ordered online on 30 Aug 21 and immediately received an text acknowedging my order. By 8 Sep I had recieved no futher updates and was wondering where my parcel was so I contacted DCN Crafts via the online form on their website. I got absolutely no response at all!!

Just as I was thinking about raising a Paypal dispute as my item had not been received, I finally get a text notification that my order had been dispatched - 10 Sep 21

To be fair DCN Craft's website does not list a despatch period that I could see but 9 working days (not including weekends) - come on!!

I am in the lucky position that I could wait for my item but others may not be. If you can't manage online sales don't do them. Poor customer service and I for one won't be back

Dont buy from this company

Dont buy from this company, they don't deliver! They don't answer messages. There is no telephone number,
or email.
I have put this in the hands of PayPal.
My advice is don't purchase from them, unless you want to fight to get your money back.

Craft papers and delivery

I saw this site advertised when i was looking for christmas craft papers .i liked what i saw and decided on the spur of the moment to order some.i was so pleased when they came they are beautifull.and the postage was realy good .

I wish I had read the reviews too. I placed an order on the 19th August 2021 and they happily took my money. I emailed on the 27th August and the 2nd September. I have had no reply. So I'm out of pocket financially and have not received the kit. This was the very first time I had ordered from them. Very unhappy and disappointed to be ripped off.

I wish I had read the reviews on here before I placed my order!! Order placed on 6th August 2021, today is 20th August 2021 and I've had no reply to any of my 3 emails chasing this order up!
I have been on the Companies House, and it looks like this company is in great trouble. I would not recommend anyone places an order with this firm!
Go on the Gov dot uk website and then Companies House. (Trustpilot won't let me add a link)

EDIT: A couple of hours after writing my review, DCN Crafts emailed me to apologise for the delay in my order. Apparently one item was out of stock. They said the item was now in stock and my order would be posted that day.
Three days later and I have just received my full order.
It is so sad that I have had to 'battle' to receive my goods. I would gladly support and place further orders, if I could be guaranteed a smooth and quick transaction.
I promised that I would edit my review, if my goods arrived. I am now lifting my original 1Star to 3Stars.

Your order has now been shipped and our customer services will monitor it until we have confirmation that it has been safely received by you.
We feel that you are misinterpreting the information on Companies House, and we welcome anyone to review either Companies House or the Government website. Your statement that the sites show we “that we are in great trouble” is not supported there, in fact the most recent document on Companies House dated 4th August 2021 expressly states that we are fully compliant with all the statutory information required by them. The only issue that we have had with Companies House is that this year we were late in providing our Confirmation Statement to them. Without this document a company may be stopped from trading. As soon as we realised our oversight, we provided the Confirmation Statement and on the 4th August 2021 they published that they were fully satisfied.

lovely items.

We have had to write to David, but only once, and he explained about a problem with his supplier. We received all of our order and they where beautiful. In fact they where so good that I ordered more. So give them a little time but use this site it really is worth while.

Poor Customer service, no order or refund as yet

Placed an order 10th Jul, not heard anything ref dispatch so emailed them 17th Jul for more info. 22nd Jul had a reply saying items out of stock and no delivery to date therefore I may prefer a refund. I responded directly saying I would prefer a refund but 24hr later had an email saying 'my email not delivered'. I then sent another email via both my initial email and via their website asking they refund me for both items. Today 27th Jul and no response to date. Not a happy, currently looking for a contact number but no luck as yet.....

No delivery, appalling customer service…see update

Totally agree with the customer below, Laura McCulloch.

I ordered at the weekend and paid extra for 1st class delivery as I needed one of the items quickly. Four days later I’ve not received my order and have had no response whatsoever to my four emails.

Perhaps this company is no longer operating, although they do take orders, deduct money from your account then send an automated response to the order.

I can see from the numerous customer comments below, that this is a common occurrence, so either this company has now ceased trading whilst still taking the money, or they simply ignore their customers, leaving you wondering whether or not you’re going to receive your order. It’s appalling customer service and bad business practice. No stars.

Seller got back to me and was very apologetic. He offered a full refund or to send the part of my order that was in stock and refund the out of stock item that he’d been waiting for to complete my order. I try to support small businesses and the seller is aware that customer service needs improving. As I have now received a dispatch notice for part of my order and also received a refund plus the postage for the order not in stock, I will give three stars.

Believe the negative reviews, they are true!

Believe the negative reviews, they're real. I wish I had, but from one small business to another, I thought I'd give them a chance.

Ordered on 12th July, received an automated response confirming my order.

Have sent 3 emails this week simply to enquire where my order is as no dispatch notification received yet.... absolute silence from them. I would imagine they have sold me something that they don't have in stock and don't have the common decency to let me know.

My latest email sent to them this morning has requested a response by 5pm today, or a chargeback will be initiated.

Regardless of the outcome, my review is 1 star for the complete lack of customer service. It would be 0 stars if it were possible. I very much doubt they will respond to my emails or this review, which just says it all really.

They acknowledged the need to improve on their customer service skills on replies to previous reviews. Clearly they're not that bothered about their reputation as nothing has improved.

Would buy again but not great customer service

After placing my order I was very worried after seeing a few negative reviews on dispatch/ delivery times. I emailed a few times too see when my order would be dispatched but didn’t get a reply until a few days later when I got an automated email saying it was on its way.

The only reason I have given 4 stars is down to the customer service, I never received a reply from either of my emails and just feel that commutation is key when running a small business. After I placed my order it took around 10 days to hear anything. That being said, I will order again as the item arrived exactly as stated and was very good value for money! Just wish that improvements will be made in the customer service department.
