People's Friend Weekly and Special's are always a good easy read. They are not focused on celebrity gossip but great stories and factual information.
Sometimes I think the recipes are a little expensive, especially when they name specific branded products.

I love the photos of Scottish scenery which tug the heart strings of a Scot now living and working in another country on the other side of the world. I enjoy the natural history articles due to a life-long interest especially in birds. But the other articles are engaging and entertaining also, serving to keep me informed about what is going on in my native land.

I have two subscriptions - My Weekly and Peoples Friend Special. It is so nice to know that they will arrive each time due. It also saves a little bit of money.

The magazines are great. I have the My Weekly, the Peoples Friend and the special. Great stories and useful hints. My only issue is I have them delivered and the post is not very good so I get them usually a fortnight behind.

I have read the People’s Friend since I was a child at my grandmother’s 80 odd years ago. One of the ways I learnt to read.

I started ordering My Weekly to be delivered by post during lockdown in 2020. I really look forward to it being delivered every week and the content is so good and varied. Well worth the money.
