Kia really don’t care

Kia have had my car for two weeks the local dealership requested a hire courtesy car Wednesday and said this would be available from enterprise Friday , evidently not true I suppose I should be greatful as in the last 11months it has broken down 5 times 3 times almost seriously injuring the driver. At least when it is in the dealership it is not trying to kill anyone, the most dangerous car I have ever known or heard of

Kia damaged my car at the dealership!!!

I have been a loyal Kia customer many years, every 3 years I’d get my new car, this is the first issue I’ve had but it’s a huge one and I’m getting no replies.
I took my car back as it had some odd messages, sensor blockage, engine management light, a kia recall for coolant, the dealership Ken Brown Motors Stevenage (my usual dealership) had the car a few days, didn’t fix a few of those original problems and even gave me new ones (I now have no sensors) anyway my car was damaged, I still have no idea how but something has hit it or they’ve hit something, there are scratches all over it and weirdly the windscreen has LOADS of little chips, like it was parked on a newly stone chipped road or gave a load of kids stones and told them to chuck them at all day!! God only knows how it’s covered. Even the clean they do was terrible, couldn’t see out of windscreen properly it was all smeared and they didn’t bother doing the back at all. My car was perfect bar being dirty on inside (just mud/leaves kind of dirt nothing else) and I got the outside cleaned every 2 weeks so I know every part of the car. The garage agreed they’d done the damage (I still don’t know how) and said they’d arrange repairs, book me another 7 seater auto and spray the car so it was exactly the same again. So I wait and nothing! They’ve ignored me since, deleted my comment on the Kia Facebook page, deleted the images of damage too, they’ve not responded on Twitter yet. You’d think if you damaged a customers car you’d fall over yourself trying to please them and make it better but nope, nothing! I’ve not asked for compensation, I’ve not asked for anything extra just repair the damage you did and lend me another car the same whilst you do it! I’ve been polite but it’s getting no where. I’d avoid Kia as they are great until something goes wrong and then they hide. Absolutely gutted!

If I could give it zero stars I would. What a dreadful company, my son has a Kia Sportage, it’s within its warranty, it now needs a new engine, Kia are doing everything not to honour the warranty, but I’ve got news for them, we are not going to be bullied into giving up, my son and his partner are at their wits end so ppl DONT BUY A KIA

Awful experience with Kia warranty…

Awful experience with Kia warranty which has not yet been resolved.
Bought a Kia Sorrento November 2022 which came with the remainder of a seven year warranty. Took it to Kia Orbital in Ashford on August 10th because the engine management light was on. They cleaned a sensor and told us to come back if it came on again. It came on immediately. They diagnosed a failed turbo charger and we took it back to them on August 18th. They told us it was covered under the warranty but they can't get the part. It is now 4th September and they do not expect the part for another three weeks (week of the 25th September). We told the garage on 24th August that we have found suppliers who can deliver a part in 24 hours but they won't do it because they will only source from Kia. We will be without a car for seven weeks (if they actually fix it then) with no courtesy car.
Edit - We got a courtesy car after 3 weeks. We have just been told they estimate that the part will arrive in the UK on 27th November - so over three months without our car. This is despite the fact that we can get the part delivered to us by various UK companies in 24 hours if we pay for it ourselves.

This review is for Jeff Wyler Kia in…

This review is for Jeff Wyler Kia in Cincinnati OHIO! They had a used Kia that I was interested in and I drove the hour to get there to test drive and or see the car and buy it! Well it was all a big fat scam! I couldn’t see the CAR and I couldn’t test drive the car (IT WAS BEING SERVICED, RIGHT) but the sales guy wanted to run my credit to PUT a deal together which is INSANE IF I COULDNT EVEN DRIVE IT OR SEE IT RIGHT! So they ran my credit and come up with the most messed up deal I’ve ever heard when I hadn’t even had a chance to see, touch, or drive it and they are putting a deal together! Which put a major ding on my credit, for their little circus trick! I left immediately for my hour trip back home with my credit being damaged and didn’t even touch or look at the car I believe they are using as a decoy to get people in there! Do NOT BUY GO LOOK OR ANYTHING AT JEFF WYLER KIA OF Cincinnati! I won’t ding the sales guy even tho I should because he was NOT WHAT HE CLAIMED to be EITHER! And I told him I’m a VETERAN NEEDING A Reliable used car and I needed it bad and he still screwed me! Do not go to the city looking it will be a big mistake they have no heart I mean it! It’s all about taking from EVERYONE they make a killing from the normal people and they just can’t give the poor a deal! Special place in hell waiting for them I mean it! I will get my used kia optima and it will be glorious! Thanks for nothing Jeff Wyler kia

Don’t buy Kia Car

Hey, I just wont to tell my story. I have been carz in dundee store, I had only an hour to go back to work, i was kind of hurry. they were kind of forced me to buy a car. my car was in other store, they asked me to go back after few days. when i have been there they already signed off everything and i found few problem and they said they are gonna fix they offered me any problem they will take care i paid extra £1062 so that they will take care of my car. after getting the card they give me appointment after 1 and half month. I left my car they didn't fix anything they just told they are not issue. they just give back the car, after that i had to left my car 6 times within 5 months. Every time i drop off my card they charge around £65 , one time they charged me £130 + £65 for two wheel nuts. Can you imagine because they don't cover by warranty. last time i dropped off because my car's radiator was leaking, They didn't look my card, Said This is normal. Last week my car is died. I have been there they said you can drop off but they don't know when they will see. I go to work everyday by my car. without my car i am kind of blind. I had to pay for recovery £60. I took my car to KIA garage, They find out Radiator leaking, Down suspension broken and CLUTCH pad broken, You guys tell me, What did i get from them, I paid around £9000 for the car, Now i have to pay another £2000 to fix. They are stupid and they are big liar. Their customer service is worsted in the uk, last things i took one of my uncle with me, they stared phoning him until he blocked their number.

Appalling customer care

Have been waiting for my 2019 Sportage to be repaired under warranty for 6 weeks now. No information no customer care. Courtesy car is a Vauxhall corsa ( not exactly like for like).
So disappointed in the service that am seriously considering selling the car and never touching Kia again.

Incorrect new vehicle

Wrong new car delivered on 5th August after 5 months. The manager of Speedwell Exeter falls short of his customer support in not speaking to us.
I even had to chase my deposit refund with no interest or compensation. I felt sorry for Tom the sales executive as he had no support from his manager. I hope a senior person reads this and takes the appropriate action to improve his level of competence. SUSAN Morte Holsworthy

I have a 2yr old Kia Sportage

I have a 2yr old Kia Sportage. It has the following faults - handbrake not working, rear door not opening, seat belt not retracting and fuel filler flap not closing properly (which has already been “fixed” under warranty). Three dealers within a reasonable distance are all saying 2 months wait! To my mind a vehicle with no handbrake is illegal and would be an MOT failure. Unable to open a door in an emergency is a major problem! I would not buy another Kia - substandard and diabolical service!

No care Kia!!

Paid 39k for the new Kia Sportage hybrid and it wouldn’t start after doing only 2,500 miles. Had it recovered to Chapelhouse In Ainsdale Southport and they have had it a week and have no idea how to fix it. Phone goes unanswered and no courtesy car. Kia Care couldn’t care less and say there is no obligation to provide a courtesy car!! So frustrating. No idea when we will have transport% Will not buy another Kia that’s for sure.

2004 & 2007 tyres on a 2020 Picanto!

Kia garage Redditch sold me a Picanto 2020 and when I had to have a tyre check at Kwikfit due the the tyre pressure light came on they told me that my tyres were all different pressures and that they 2004 and 2007 tyres incredible I am absolutely horrified and makes me wonder what other parts are older than the car!! Awaiting a phone call from their service manager this should be interesting how they explain this. Have totally lost faith in this garage and would not recommend them.

Excellent service

I have to say, I’ve been in the motor trade since 1989, working for main dealers, Kia, BMW, TVR, VW, and I have since started my own business, I don’t normally write reviews, I have to say Harry in service and the lady I spoke to are a pleasure to deal with, and the car was delivered back to me like NEW, fantastic service, well done to the team and Reading Kia 😊😊😊, will definitely use again..
