Do NOT use DEGIRO, you will not be able to contact or speak to anyone. If you get locked out of your account because u forgot ur password or change ur phone number, you will not be able to get access for a very long time because they will not reply to your emails quickly and you cannot speak to anyone.
I am currently trying to gain access to my account because my phone number changed. But DEGIRO is such poor quality in service, no one is getting back to me, so I cannot trade on my account right now. Accessing account to day trade is the most important thing so based on that, DEGIRO is absolute trash, please avoid.
Trading 212 is much better in that respect, I would recommend T212 or any other platform over DEGIRO.

I would like to agree with another colleague who said
I Have had a good experience with this platform but Brexit has made it extremely difficult to trade here due to the time and bureaucracy it takes to move funds around. The only other criticism would be the reporting or more like parroting of MSM Headline rubbish that rarely if ever turns out to be true once you do your DD

Expensive transaction fees
Firstly, the platform does not offer interest on uninvested cash balances, which is a significant disadvantage in the current high-interest-rate environment where many brokers provide such benefits. Moreover, DEGIRO’s transaction fees are higher compared to those of many other platforms. I have been investing through this platform since 2020, and the experience has been getting worse each year.

Appalling
I made a transfer almost 3 weeks ago, and it took 19 days it to be credited on my Degiro account, despite me being a customer for over 4 years. Sent several emails, called them numerous times and they are "still investigating", yet "not able to provide timeframe for the money to be credited". They committed to keep me informed, but I had to call every other day to get some kind of answer.
I don't understand how a financial institution could be so poorly managed, where they do not seem to have any handle on customers transfers or keep them informed on the steps being taken to resolve the matter. "We cannot provide you with a precise time frame for the resolution but we are working diligently to get the issue fixed" is just not good enough!

Deposit Funds are missing
I've been with Degiro for years and never had an issue. Last month I transferred £100 from my bank account and it never reached my Degiro account. Its left my bank account according to my bank. The customer Services at Degiro are appalling, so slow. They are asking me to provide a PDF (only a PDF) of proof that it has left my bank account. I have supplied them with everything I can pull out from my bank account as proof, they are not accepting it. I'm not even sure they have looked into my case as yet. Because they still require this PDF. I'm now looking to move broker. If I can't deposit funds into my Degiro account safely what's is the point.

Nightmare, withdrawal never arrived
I requested a withdrawal. Unfortunately, the bank account that is used for withdrawals no longer exists. Sure, that was my mistake, but Degiro doesn't even try to recover the money. I assume the bank sent the money back to Degiro, but it was never allocated back to my account. Their customer support is ghosting me; they are not even replying to emails! I have lost £2000 because Degiro is unable to help!

I transferred 1000 pounds and they lost it and now they are asking for me to provide proof, cannot make this up. If you are in the UK avoid, they want their own IBAN from me when they did not give it and said on their platform to do bank transfer, does not make sense.

Stay away, they have taken my money and not allocated it to my account.
4th October made a bank transfer of funds to my Degiro account.
After waiting more than one week the funds I had sent to Degiro had not appeared in my Degiro account and so I emailed Degiro with my details asking why my money has not been allocated to my Degiro account.
I was then asked to supply my name, my bank account and sort code, the Degiro sort code and account i sent my money to,transfer date, transfer amount.
I then provided all the details requested.
Next Degiro then said they now required a copy of my official bank statement showing the transaction. I reluctantly did this although they had already had all the details.
Finally on the 15th October they told me my funds would allocated to my Degiro account by the end of the day.
I email them again on the 17th October asking were my money was and have not yet had a reply.
It is now the 18th October, 14 days since I sent them my money and the money has still not been allocated to my Degiro account.
I am now dreading the time when I have to withdraw money from my Degiro account as the company seems to like blocking transactions and I assume are earing interest on the money I have sent them.
Appalling service, not to be trusted with your money.
Good platform
