Trading works well and fast. UI a bit meh
Trading works well and fast. Website excellent on desktop. iOS app just wraps the website, sometimes has layout errors and feels finicky. Multiple or repetitive trades would be far easier with, for example, reusable templates/defaults/histories or defining and executing actions of sets of multiple positions. Individual trades could be streamlined with selectable defaults, such as limits defaulting to something sensible and/or offering a range across the spread to select from. As far as I can tell, the portfolio overview does not indicate if each position's marketplace is currently open. Names of positions are cut off because the column is too small, while, depending on language, some columns take up too much width with a title that is longer than any of the content. There are basically no statistics available, not even a chart of portfolio performance over time. The portfolio overview page, where people are likely to spend a bit of their time, is cluttered with less interesting information and non-information, such as pagination navigation, even when there is but a single page of a list, and a "money market fund compensation" overview that takes up a third of the vertical space to display three lines with 0-values and one line that amounts to less than 1/100,000 of the portfolio value and hasn't changed in months.
But quite ok, otherwise.

As long as you don't need to contact customer support it all looks great, although, not really cheap anymore since recently charges went up.
BUT if for some reason you need anything from Degiro that require human interaction - you are screwed. Brave yourself and prepare to meet completely useless and incompetent "support" team. Honestly, it's easier to go and talk with the wall.
In my case I am now being forced to sell all my shares as they promised to force close my account because I can't provide EU (hello Brexit) passport or ID card while I live in the UK (sic!!!) and I was born in Russia. I initially opened my account in Germany, then I moved to the UK - all this is well known to Degiro. Why on Earth should I have an EU id? I don't get it.
Bottom line - be very careful with this company, especially long-term investors.
