Food missing and no refund

The restaurant forgot my dessert and when contacting UAE customer service, they told be over 24 hours later, that I need to send a photo to prove that the item was missing. 24 hours later I don’t have the possibility to make a photo of my order and what kind of proof would that even be? I ordered daily and now they have lost a loyal customer. Also the delivery guys ask for water each time they come to the house. It’s not my job to make sure that their drivers are hydrated during their work shift. They should treat their customers and employees better than this.

Got scammed out of 50AED

Got scammed out of 50AED. First time ordering from deliveroo and they promised 50AED off an order over 85 valid for 24 hours. Did that ~ voucher didn't work and got charged the full amount... it gets better....
After contacting deliveroo (30 seconds after making the order) to ask then for help, they said: they cannot honour the vouchet and it's too late to cancel the order.

Absolute joke. Deleting the app and will stick with Careem.

It was very bad experience the order was late for 1 hour and they didn’t deliver it they called me after 1 hour to inform that I can’t receive my order and there customer service is bad they didn’t do any compensation like other companies like Talabat I will not order from them again

2nd time to order Dubai Fix Chocolate…

2nd time to order Dubai Fix Chocolate to Deliveroo and also 2nd time to have big frustration and bad experience with Deliveroo. The first bad experience, wrong items delivered, was last December 22, 2024 and just to give again a try, was April 7, 2025, Order No 0407, where in incomplete items were being delivered. I refused the delivery because the delivery rider is delivering 1 pc item, but in my paid order with them, it was 3 pcs. At the end, the customer service agents and senior agent, Hazem, told me that I should have received the 1 pc item, then after informed me that the rider left the 1 pc in my flat door step, but nothing was there, after also reviewing the cctv of the building. I emailed them to please just refund my money back on my credit card, but what Shahin did was to give back for 2 pcs only, and only as credit in my deliveroo wallet. With this kind of experience from Deliveroo, do they think that I will still make an order from them anything. And the 1 pc, they considered as delivered. VERY VERY VERY VERY WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPPORT.

Found hair in food and messaged the restaurant, no reply after 2 hours so complained to Deliverpoo.

Got chatting to a bot and then to a person. Nothing offered, so my first and last time ordering with them or dodo pizza JBR.

There was a missing item to my order, they automatically refunded the amount instead of asking for a replacement. The customer service employee when i spoke to him saw that they did fine by the refund.

I had another order from delivero and…

I had another order from delivero and rider was very late to pick my order from resturant and customer care treat my request with careless and reject my request to raise a complaint for my order delay … extremely dissatisfied with customer care attitude … they also refused to refund me for my cold food… the customer care in delivery is trained well to ignore customers requests and avoid to refund or even compensate customers… truly a trashy service that work against the customer not to help customers…!!!

Disappointing Experience

Disappointing Experience – Poor Packaging & Unhelpful Customer Service

I ordered Dubai Fix chocolates worth 600 AED from Deliveroo, specifically selecting the gift packaging option available on the app. However, what I received was poorly packed, completely unsuitable for gifting. Given the price and the fact that I made the request in advance, I expected much better.

To make matters worse, customer service was completely unhelpful, offering no real solution. This was meant to be a special gift, and the lack of care in packaging ruined the experience. Extremely disappointed and will not be ordering again.

Deliveroo by far is the WORST…

Deliveroo by far is the WORST application to have ever existed, never order from them anything because they’ll take your money and won’t even give it back and won’t compromise to you and i don’t think it’s even convenient. costumer service are so useless and they just copy and paste random sentences like they’re not even professional people they just act like it’s a good application and you won’t get your food so it’s a waste of money, time and you will be so stressed

Dubai Chocolate from FIX

We ordered the Dubai chocolate from FIX through Deliveroo for 550 AED. We wanted to leave it at the reception, but it was never delivered, even though it was marked as delivered.

At first, customer support had no idea where the package was, and later they told us it had been delivered. However, we never received anything, and neither did the reception. This is a scam. Customer support was absolutely unhelpful—they just kept apologizing and even told us we could leave a review.

In the end, we have neither the chocolate nor our money. Be careful with them and avoid ordering anything to a hotel reception. This was our first time trying it, and it will definitely be the last!

Shady Pricing Tactics

Shady Pricing Tactics – Beware!

I just had the worst experience with Deliveroo UAE. They showed me one price all the way through, but at the last second during checkout, they doubled the price without warning! No transparency, no explanation—just an outright scam. To make things worse, they didn’t even allow me to cancel the order.

This is unacceptable. A company this big should not be engaging in shady, last-minute price hikes to squeeze more money out of customers. I’ve lost trust in their service, and I’d advise everyone to double-check their final total before confirming anything. Better yet, use a different service that respects its customers.

Avoid Deliveroo unless you enjoy being ripped off! 🚨👎

Worse customer services. Order around £150 worth of Fix chocolates to be delivered to my hotel. Made arrangement with concierge and front desk to accept delivery on my behalf. The driver did not turn up to the hotel and attempted delivery elsewhere. Goods taken back to depot and apparently destroyed. Called customer services and they were no help and refused to redeliver or refund the order. I even offered to collect the items or pay for re-delivery or even taken delivery charge off when refunded. No luck. Basically, I lost £150 and got nothing from them. Never use deliveroo.ae again and avoid them like the plague. Deliveroo.ae need to look at their customer services in the UAE as it is terrible. No wonder you have got so many bad reviews everywhere!!!!!
