Horrible costumer service
Horrible costumer service. They basically try to gaslight you in to thinking it's your fault the rider didn't showed up. Had to go true 5 ppl to get a refund. Told me to email them for a discount... It's been 6 e-mails back and forth so far...
When you have a business that's fundamentally barely sustainable and there is a recession ahead it's imo not a smart move to treat your customers/riders and restaurant with no respect.
It's the same with uber-eats and others.

In Mechelen I never experienced troubles with deliveroo but in Antwerp only 1 out 3 goes smoothly. Either they say it's delivered but it's not or de rider changes a lot and the food gets cold
Very poor customer service
Very poor customer service. Helpless staff. My order was getting in the opposite direction for 30min before I tried to contact the driver and the customer service asking update. The customer service could not reach the driver so just told me I was suppose to wait and could complain afterwards. I finally reached out the driver telling that he did not pick up the meal because was sent to another restaurant. I told that, with printscreen to customer service who continue to send me "your delivery is on the way", despite the message from the driver. Then they asked me to call the restaurant: I did it and the restaurant confirmed the message from the driver: error in the system showing the delivery ongoing while the meal was still to pick up. Order at 19:45 and got finally the order cancelled at 21:10. The restaurant is 600m from my place and the order was ready after 15min.

Bad experience. Called to inquire on the whereabouts of the order to be informed that they cancelled it ''for extra security'' but reassured me that we will be reimbursed within 72 hrs and that i can order again if i wish. Are you kidding ?? Never again
Order delivered wrongly - no refund
An order was not delivered to our home. The first person I contacted via chat said I could not be reimbursed. Then I sent a mail, to which I received a reply that I would be reimbursed, as the rider was sent to the wrong address due to a system error on their end. Having received no reimbursement after a week, I recontacted Deliveroo, only to get a reply that I was not eligible for a reimbursement after all...
Bad company.
I’ve requested to close my account and delete my personal data after their decision to stop operating in Spain to avoid declaring riders as employees. I don’t spend my money with a company with poor social values and no respect for the communities where they operate.
Great when it works, but beware of not
Great when it works. But when you have a problem, the service is a total disaster... On the chat nobody responds and after a few minutes the session is finished automatically. On social media you have the impression of talking to a bot, i.e., your messages are not read/understood and you just get some standard responses.

Tired of their unreliability. Orders constantly late, or cancelled at the last minute. Complain, and you might get a 5€ voucher. Will be getting my meals elsewhere.
