Honestly the worst customer service I…

Honestly the worst customer service I have ever seen. Calling it customer service is a merit that it shouldn’t have! There’s no service to it. They just send through automated crap and refuse compensation when the food you receive is not edible.

Classic stealing scheme, deny refunds for incorrect orders and do not tolerate complaints over orders.

They deny refunds when items are not…

They deny refunds when items are not received and when items are damaged. Even when you send evidence in they ignore it and make you pay for their mistakes and mistakes made by restaurants who take liberties with portions and quality. Mouldy goods from groceries and sending scraps from restaurants at the end of the day with no regard to food safety or allergens. They don’t even give reasons for refusing refunds, they just like taking money and giving the worst service imaginable. Violating consumer rights and legal obligations as a business dealing with food. They also have riders that try to invite themselves in your house and ask if your alone, others that work under other peoples names - and they do nothing about it.

I won’t spend another penny with them ever again and I advise anyone to spend with anyone but them.

Shocking service

Shocking service, paid priority for delivery, the rider picked up my order and proceeded in the opposite direction of my address and clearly deliver other orders for 20mins and then turned back, 50min wait, food cold. I called him out on it and flat out asked him was he delivery other orders before mine and he sniggered and said yes before walking away. The live chat service was useless, part refunded for cold food (c. 20% back) but refused to refund me for the priority fee. Spoke with three different live chat managers, all useless. Save you money folks, just buy local, way better for our communities and piece of mind.

appalling

appalling. I am a long standing customer, with an average of 20 bookings per week.
Couriers don't bother o find the venue and leave without telephone calls and without refund. Another order was placed at a non identified or confirmed address, paid with my CC on file. It was delivered without the required code. No refund

Horrible experience - won't be using again

Made a food order at 7pm which didn't arrive until 9:45. Had to send my son to bed with toast due to the lateness of the meal. When the food finally arrived (after ringing around chasing) it was soggy and cold. The order was also wrong. I spoke with customer service and they were awful kept getting well feed it back. When i asked to log a complaint and have a reference I just get the same response each time "sorry for your issues, we'll ensure feedback is provided." It was my first time using delivery and it will definitely be the last time i use them. No apology and no offer of compensation. Shocking don't use.

Good never delivered and refund request refused

My 16 year old son ordered a burger and sides which came to around £30. No food was delivered, even though Deliveroo sent a notification that it has been delivered and signed for by "reception". There is no reception, it's just a house. There was no phone call. My son and two adults were in the house and never heard the doorbell or any knocking.

We spent a long time calling to talk to the company about this, but deliveroo remained adamant that the food was delivered, and refused to provide a replacement order or refund.

If I could leave zero stars I would.

Worst experience and customer service…

Worst experience and customer service ever, being treated horribly by them and even when they got my order wrong they tried to lie to my face that they didn’t, after sending screenshots they still didn’t help and they said it’s error and can’t help me and they said its great news for me that from now on from my feedback they will try do better…… what??? Why don’t they do better with my order then….they keep repeating that they can’t help me then why are they even called customer service?

One word…… USELESS !!

One word…… USELESS !!! How the hell trading standards hasn’t looked into this company they are always unreliable and upset my 6 year old son giving him a freezing cold happy meal tonight with no toy and I paid extra for speedy delivery 1 hour 20 mins later why don’t these company’s just employee there own drivers make life so much more simple I feel completely mugged off and there’s nothing I can do about it disgusting……

DEPLORABLE Deliveroo


Deliveroo gave me 5 products instead of 7 and made no attempt to reimburse me. I have spent the last two days trying to obtain my £7 and change from the £26 that was debited from my account.

Further, I requested fruit biscuits but was given chocolate;which I am allergic to. Deliveroo were unhelpful, unsympathetic and uncompromising.

If they take money for 7 products but deliver 5 then they should not try and keep the difference. It is tortious, unacceptable and dishonest. Deliveroo cannot rewrite British laws enacted to protect the consumer.

I am upset by Deliveroo's handling of my complaint. I was so upset that I did not eat anything they delivered. Unfortunately my head is still aching as it has brought on a terrible migraine. It is most unjust that I be forced to pay for biscuits that were wrongly substituted by their algorithm.

I am a retired solicitor who also practiced at the Bar for over a decade. As a human rights defender I believe that Deliveroo needs to be sued as this is a matter ofbpublic importance

I think vunerable people could be at risk as Deliveroo is not focused on doing the right thing. I did speak to the supermarket manager, Stuart at the Co-op in Peterborough. He was very polite and respectful which is more than can be said for Deliveroo's representatives.

Placed an order for some noodles with a restaurant and the noodles are like rubber. Contacted Deliveroo and was told we cannot do anything.

One star is way to high for this company!
Ordered from wagamama, on arrival delivery driver was holding the individual food containers and stated that the bag had ripped or broken! I refused the order based on the fact that in high probability the food was dropped and the official wagamamas bag ripped and possibility that food could have fallen out and put back in! I then received a call from rider services who stated "you are not allowed to refuse the order" yes I am and I did. The only issue with this was that a couple of minutes later my app stated that food had been delivered. The rider did not have my reference number! On calling customer services they stated that the food was delivered cold..... Lies.... I then explained that the food was refused due to it being cold and not delivered in the correct wagamamas bag. Let me make it clear, the delivery rider has lied through his teeth about this matter, and deliveroo offered a £12 refund on an order that was £50. Even being escalated to an alleged manager that's all they are prepared to offer!! The ironic thing is on collect another order myself the resteraunt had had no end of issue with deliveroo! For your info! IF YOUR FOOD IS NOT DELIVERED IN THE CORRECT SEALED BAG YOU MUST REFUSE THE ORDER. This comes directly from wagamamas. Further. If you are in this situation, you need to take photos for evidence as the driver will lie, the driver team will lie, and the managers do not care about the customer!!! I'm lucky as I have ring door bell footage to prove how the delivery arrived

manager Nizarin and agent Majed

The manager Nizarin and the agent Majed is not helpful at all when i made a complain about one of the drivers aggressive attitude and rudeness. The drivers issue is my address on his app. I told the live agent and the manager about it and the are pointing out that my address is 1.4 miles away which is not true as per receipt of the delivery. The manager was also telling me about not compensating me when i wasn’t asking for one, it is rude and the wrong way to take on a complaint. My concern here is the driver’s aggressive and rude attitude with a customer. That should not be the case. The reason people use deliveroo is for easy access of food and satisfaction in the convenience it poses but then what I encountered is an aggressive and rude driver , shouting at me and shoving his phone on my face i have to take a step back not to be hit. This all happened in my home.

If u get freezing cold food that u can’t eat, they’re only now refunding 25% of the whole order regardless if u can’t eat the poor quality food, I ordered McDonalds it came through cold and hard as rocks I asked for a refund off a £26 order they gave me £2 back that’s it. Refused to refund anymore even tho the food was fit for the bin! This needs to go to trading standards because if you were to eat in a restaurant and got given cold food, by law u can refuse to pay for it or request food up to edible standards, this company takes those consumer rights away by not offering either! So iv deleted my account won’t be giving this service my custom again. Will be notifying trading standards for the poor treatment of their customers as well. As u can see from other reviews food and other things get stolen too with no refunds. So please take note not to use this company. I will now use uber for now

Food stolen by driver, but no refund given

The food I ordered was stolen by the delivery driver (who I had messaged because they looked lost on the map). Deliveroo have admitted the driver did not try to contact me and did not deliver the food, but have stated that I am ineligible for compensation. Absolute criminal outfit, I honestly can't believe they are allowed to operate. Goes without saying, use at your own risk.

Criminal Con Artists - DO NOT USE

Waited an house for food to be delivered and yest it was freezing cold. The bill came to £35 and they refunded £7. I will never use these con artists ever again and have deleted their stupid app from my phone.
