My order no 7100325960
Please see my other reviews for full information.
If you paid by credit card please do a chargeback or section 75 claim. I've just had my refund confirmed and case closed as after 6 months the company have accepted Visa's decision.
The parent company Luxpad has tried to apply to be struck off from Companies House however this has been suspended as there has been an objection. I can only assume the many reports to Action Fraud etc have finally worked. This information is easily found on The Gazette website and is in the public domain.
Good luck to everyone else at getting a refund.
Do not buy from here
The first order made with the company was due to be delivered on a specific date but when contacted about the late delivery it became apparent the order had to be cancelled because of an issue with manufacturing (over 3 weeks later). The second order made with Designer Bathroom Concepts has still not been delivered (delivery confirmation was received by myself on the 5th of July) and they are uncontactable - I have tried to 'live chat' 4 times now and no one gets back to the email form you have to fill out (it's not even a live chat) there is no number to call, I am unsure of what to do or how to get my money back for both orders. It looks incredibly unprofessional as these orders were for a client of mine and now I do not know how to resolve this for them other than to pay for this myself and delay the project being complete on time. Do not buy from here.

THESE ARE A BUNCH OF CLOWNS AT THE HELM OF THIS COMPANY- HAVE A SNEEKY PEEK AT COMPANIES HOUSE, THAT TELLS THE REAL STORY. I ORDERED A £1900 BATH AND STILL WAITING 2 MONTHS LATER !!! USE CREDIT CARD AT ALL TIMES FOLKS AND DONT TOUCH THIS SHAMBLES OF A COMPANY- IF SOMETHING IS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE, ITS BECAUSE IT PROBABLY IS !!
Item never delivered. Refund never received
Item never delivered costing £77. Notified them immediately but it's now been 7 months of trying to get a refund and they're now fobbing it off to try to claim back through my bank who have refused as it's over 6 months. Now having go through whole formal complaints process. Life is too short to deal with companies like this. Avoid with a barge pole. In case customer services respond it's Order #7100323118
Full of **** don’t buy
Do not buy from this website or any of…
Do not buy from this website or any of the other Luxpad group sites. I ordered a JTP valve almost one month ago and it still hasn’t arrived. In the first week they were actually communicating, however only over a chatbot service or email. Now they no longer reply to emails and I fear my money and valve are lost.
STAY AWAY FRAUDULENT SCAMMERS
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. Affordable Rads, Designer Bathroom Concepts and Luxpad Group are all the same company. They have been reported to HMRC and Fraud Action. They will take the money, set up a delivery date and that will be the last you’ll hear from them. Unless you submit a negative review and they attempt to have it removed……
Keeping thousands of client money for months
UPDATE- today is 18th of July (14 days from my first review) and still no money have been returned. Since my review post, the company has requested further details which were immediately provided same day, however, no refund has been made yet. I have also contacted them through their website about five days ago, chasing a refund, and the agent said that he will bring this with the manager as the refund is taking quite long, however , still no response from the manager or refund. Will have to bring this case with credit card supplier.
In general, such ingeniune companies need to be shut down immediately by the government. Why our credit card suppliers have to do all the work?
Ordered a bath for £1,210.00 but was advised that manufacturing will take 10 weeks. Contacted them after 10 weeks, they said that another 6 weeks needed- probably did not place an order with manufacturer. Cancelled the order because someone else had it in stock. Refund email came through saying £1 will be refunded in the next 5-7 working days. OK, thought perhaps a typing error, however after 2 weeks, not even a £1 returned. FRAUDSTERS- using your money. AVOID
Awful company, DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!
Ordered a toilet on the 3rd of January and was prompted to choose a delivery date. The 13th of January was the soonest available. So far so good.
The 13th came and went and no delivery. Sent a message through their website but received no response. Same with e-mail. Tried phoning them but every option I chose either led to the call being ended or being put on hold (I gave up after 20+ minutes a few times).
On the 23rd of January I received a formulaic e-mail stating that the toilet was out of stock with the manufacturer but was due in stock again on the 25th. “If you are happy to wait for the date the item is due back in stock as denoted below, you are absolute top priority and at the front of the queue once the new stock arrives.”
I replied to the e-mail to try and clarify if I needed to book a new delivery slot of it would be dispatched automatically, but received no response. Tried phoning again but again couldn’t get through to anyone.
On the 13th of February I phoned once again and after 20+ minutes on hold someone actually answered the phone and I was told that stock was now expected in the second week of March (something that they must have been aware of after they didn’t receive stock on the 25th of January).
I requested (on the phone call) to cancel the order and received an e-mail to say that my request to cancel had been received, but that the “company is extremely busy across all departments and it will take up to 72 hours before you will receive acknowledgement of your Cancellation”.
Of course 72 hours later there was no acknowledgement of my cancellation. Finally received a cancellation confirmation after a week stating that they “endeavour to refund as fast as possible”. Two weeks later I still hadn’t been refunded so I started an online chat rather than wait on hold on the phone. I was then told that customer service agents are unable to deal with refunds and that I needed to speak to the refund department, but I was at least given an e-mail address to contact them on (refund at luxpadgroup dot com).
I then sent an e-mail asking for an immediate refund, pointing out that it was 2 months since they took my money for an item they never had in stock, 3 weeks since I’d cancelled the order and 2 weeks since they’d confirmed the cancellation. I found another e-mail address mentioned in another Trustpilot review (accounts at luxpadgroup dot com) so tried that one too 4 days later.
A week and a half later with no reply from any of the e-mail addresses I finally gave up and submitted a transaction dispute with my credit card company and received a refund from the card company 5 days later.

I never received a burlington toilet I ordered - when I tried to find out where it was… I got an email saying I had cancelled my order and would get a refund. That was in February. I’m still waiting. No communication and a customer care system that sends you round to nothing. Fraudsters and at this point they have stolen over £300 from me.
Goods not received no refund
Ordered £300 of bathroom accessories. Once payment had gone through, email received stating they were unable to fulfill my order so would be refunded. No refund received. Impossible to contact accounts dept. Customer services apparently don't deal with refunds! Now my order has disappeared from my account.
You won't get a refund, so don't use this site
Ordered 3 lights but once bathroom refitted realised I wouldn't need them. I returned them that took months for them to arrange and they charged me £40. Months on I still haven't had my refund despite numerous attempts to chase. Gave up and put a S75 claim into my credit card company, but they rejected as each light cost less than £100. Went pack to Luxpad who suggested I issue a S75 claim against them as they are saying they are unable to trace the refund. When I ask for the date of refund and explain I can't use the S75 route I get no response. Do not use this Company going forward. I have wasted so much time trying to sort this out and I don't believe they have issued a refund as it has been one stalling tactic after another and they clearly hope you are just going to give up.
DO NOT USE THIS SITE
DO NOT USE THIS SITE ! I ordered a mirror and after paying received an email saying it was out of stock. I have been trying to get a refund for almost a month. It’s near impossible to contact them. They do not reply to emails and the live chat is for specified enquiries only. I think this is a SCAM site. Do not use !!
Do not use - impossible to get a refund
Do not use. We bought a sink but they falsely advertised their delivery timelines so we had to cancel. I got a confirmation of cancellation and refund request but no money. No way to contact them and customer service is awful when you eventually get a response. We still haven’t got our refund 4 months later.
PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS…
PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS ORGANISATION. Luxpad group, Designer Radiator Concepts, Designer Bathroom Concepts.
I ordered a shower tray and they promised it would be delivered in 6 weeks, now there is no way in getting in touch with them apart from an awful chat box which works intermittently. When I have got through to someone there is the same delaying response about waiting for delivery with no further detail and when you quiz them further the chat is ended. There is NO telephone number to call and NO ONE will call you back, it's a black hole.
I think it is a scam.
I have contacted Action Fraud, I suggest anyone else dealing with these retailers do the same. What they are doing is illegal, taking your money and not providing goods is criminal.
Fraudulent company
Ordered a shower screen, which they didn't have in stock and confirmed that I just want a refund.
Received the refund request by (Lux pad group)
To date I am still waiting despite various emails since May.
It's now with my bank to investigate.
Don't buy from them terrible service and they con you out of your money

04/07/23 Update.
Still no refund and no contact a month later.
I have just had to update this review again, as I posted the name of the Director and person of significant interest as listed on companies house. I was told by trust pilot to take it down, even though it is in the public domain. It seems mentioning the Directors name of this scam is worse than taking orders for goods, not delivering and not refunding.
Guess I have to personally track him down and request my refund.
Bank and Trading Standards are on it.
ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW
Having waited some time for my radiator, and had pipes built in to a wall to fit. The radiator did not arrive on agreed date of 07/06/23. I chased 08/06/23 to then receive an email saying they could not deliver due to supply issues and will arrange a refund. We will see if that happens, based on reviews below, I doubt it. Customer service will not live chat and say will take 24-48 hours to answer. Beware I placed my order through Design Radiator Concepts, but the website diverts to Design Bathroom Concepts. Absoluterads.com is also the exact same style website, and also have same negative views. My radiator is a DQ Heating radiator, I phoned them, there are no supply issues, and I reordered through my local plumbers merchants, which is authroised on the DQ website. Just keeping this one updated - my plumbers merchant had the same radiator delivered from DQ Heating in 4 days, and is now on my wall. Meanwhile Design Radiator Concepts have not acknowledged my refund chasing emails.
19/06/23 Update 12 days after they didn’t deliver my radiator. Still no communication and no refund. Just a message from trust pilot asking for contact details and order number which they have. Just delaying tactics hoping you don’t supply and trust pilot takes your review down.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! ORDER A BATH £1800 NOT ARRIVED. NO COMMUNICATION. LUCKILY I HAVE AMEX TO GET MY MONEY BACK !!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
This is the worst company I've ever had the displeasure of ordering from. They are terrible in every way - simply don't use them. Do not get drawn in by their lower costs, trust me, it's not worth it.
I placed a large order of over £5000 - all of the products are labelled as 'in stock' and available for dispatch.
After ordering, you receive an email to book a delivery slot. The closest was over two weeks in advance.
Since then, I heard nothing. On the delivery day, nothing arrived. I spoke to their Live Chat the next day, they admitted fault and said they would look into it.
The next thing I find out, they have had to rearrange the whole delivery for a week later.
Second delivery date comes and goes, nothing.
I chase again, they look into it again.
I receive an email on the same day telling me they have cancelled the entire order (including a second order over £1k in value, so a total order value of over £6k).
You can't respond to their emails, they're all no-reply emails. They have no phone number. Their live chat is abysmal - expect to wait over an hour for responses regarding your order, and even then it'll be useless.
Their items are NOT 'in stock'. They will take your money irrespective of whether the items are available, and they will hold onto it and string you along for as long as possible. You'll hear nothing from them, zero communication. You will have to chase them for answers.
This is genuinely the worst company I've ever ordered from online. Do not use them. They run other websites too, so keep an eye out for the telltale signs of similar websites that use the same live chat system as it could be these guys.
