DES Rewnewable were so helpful every step of the way. They kept me informed of the whole process and procedure and very good with communicating and getting back to me with any queries. I have no hesitation in recommending them for solar panel instillation.
The office staff were very quick with any communication, and the scaffolders, roofers and electrician were so polite and always cleared up afterwards leaving no mess at all.
I cannot praise this company enough.

I'm really happy with the installation a couple of minor glitches due to unrequired kit arriving ! but all resolved immediately with a call to their support team. The system worked from day one
DES integrated an existing EAST / WEST 2011 roof mounted system with the new ground mounted 16 panel array, a solis inverter, plus a 3.5 KW Givenergy A/C coupled inverter to link the systems to the 2 x 9.5KW Givenergy Batteries plus a Givenergy EV Charger.
On a positive note after a few issues with the Givenergy EV charger (fixed now) the post customer support has been excellent (thanks Matt).

This is a real positive attribute to DES that you are a customer still even after the install is completed.

DES have recently installed a large domestic PV solar and battery storage system for me. These are my thoughts.

Once you start to make investigations, it doesn't take long to realise that choosing a company to plan and install a PV solar system is a potential minefield; the more you gain an understanding, the more you realise you don't know.

If I was asked for advice it would be to educate yourself as much as possible regarding all things solar beforehand- YouTube is a fantastic resource, check out GARY DOES SOLAR- lots of no nonsense, impartial advice ranging from the very basic to more advanced topics. SOLAR AND BATTERY UK Facebook group is also a wealth of information.

There're a lot of sales led companies out there, all keen to provide a basic PV solar set up, competitive price and fast turnaround, for some this is no doubt exactly what they are looking for. I wasn't.

My project was always going to be a challenge, not necessarily from a technical perspective but more the requirement to co operate with other on-site trades, the co ordination of timescales, and working with a discerning, inquisitive client who sought perfection.

DES met, and in some instances, exceeded my hopes and expectations. My personal experiences included:

Initial and subsequent communication with all members of the company, whether by email or telephone, was superb - as were after sales enquiries. Questions were answered promptly, accurately and politely. When additional time was required to resolve an issue this was explained to me, a time frame indicated and an answer forthcoming.

From initial planning to final installation the level of technical expertise was clearly visible and well executed, as was the willingness to advise and suggest alternative options and solutions when required.

Co operation with other trades and myself was always forthcoming. There was a willingness to be mindful as to how other parties would react, be affected or influenced.

Costs and payment terms were clearly indicated. The work was carried out to the agreed timescales and budget. Follow up paperwork and documentation arrived promptly thereafter.

Really helpful and supportive company from the moment we first reached out to them to the moment everything was completed. We're delighted with the solar setup we have and feel like DES helped us come to the right setup for us.

One of the major reasons for choosing to use DES for our Solar and Battery installation was the number of positive reviews. We have not been disappointed.
All communications were excellent and the various members of staff we dealt with and met were knowledgeable helpful and friendly.
The two day installation went very well and we have a good and tidy installation that is performing well.
(16 panels, 9.5kW GivEnergy battery and Hybrid Inverter).

Everything from the initial survey, the scaffolding being erected, solar panels being fitted to the roof, and the electrician wiring the panels to the inverter and installing the 5.1Kwh battery, then connecting Everything together went really well, without any problems. Would definitely recommend DES.

We are very pleased with our installation of Solar panels and batteries from DES from start to finish. They were very professional, friendly and helpful and we would definitely recommend.

All of my initial queries and doubts were dealt with efficiently and the work was carried out as promised, after one hitch which was unavoidable. The result is better than I expected and we are almost self-sufficient for electricity. The addition of a solar-boost means we have hot water using surplus energy - well worth the extra cost. So refreshing to find a local company who do a really good job, at a competitive price.

I chose DES Renewable Energy because they were the only company who ensured there would not be any further costs after the initial quote. They met all my requirements and the whole process was seamless. I gladly endorse this company for excellent customer service and professional workmanship.

I am very impressed with DES and how they coordinated all the processes. The quote was bang on and had all the time in the world to answer questions I had.
Once the quote was accepted the surveyor date was agreed and the installation began - The date for the scaffolded (Monday) was agreed, followed with the solar panels fitted (Wednesday) and the electrician (Thursday & Friday). All done in a week. The scaffold was removed a week later.
The system was up and running and producing free energy that day - reducing my cost to the energy provider immediately.
I would highly recommend DES to you as a provider of equipment and installer. The office staff where very knowledgeable on all aspects of the installation and nothing was to much trouble even if the answer was not part of their remit.

We are very pleased with our 15 panel and battery system. All the DES folks from planning through to installation and handover have been friendly, professional and helpful. I am amazed at how much energy is produced, even on cloudy days. I can recommend DES. We only gave 4 stars as we felt the engineer was not fully trained on the app that controls system etc and also the scaffolders should take a little more care when putting up scaffold .

From the initial quote, through to the full installation of the Solar package, we felt totally comfortable with DES. Very well organised, every part of the process was fully explained, communication was excellent and dates and timescales were met. The team who managed the installation were very professional; once the quote had been accepted, a full survey was completed, DNO process organised and the installation guys had plenty of time to answer and support with questions we had. The panels and the battery and inverter where fitted very professionally everything was explained how to use it and what to expect
Since the installation in late march this year I have seen a huge reduction in my electricity consumption and have a lot of excess to be sold back to the grid which will be another saving once I have the contract in place
