After receiving information and quotes from various solar panel providers we accepted DES Renewable Energy's competitive quote. They were very helpful in providing us with information when we needed it. A survey was completed giving us confidence in proceeding with the installation and in drawing our attention to other ways we could update our electrical equipment and reduce water heating costs.
The wiring, batteries and inverter were installed with proper care and attention after we had discussed where they were to be be positioned. We took the electrician's sensible advice on where to place them. The solar panels were installed quickly despite the wet weather and the system was up and running well on time. All the DES employees were happy to seek our confirmation as to the placement of cabling etc and carried the work out professionally.
Following the installation we have been able to use the phone app to track the details of how the panels are generating electricity and the level at which the battery storage rises and falls. This guides us on how to best use our electricity. We would happily recommend DES to others planning to install solar panels.

We are very pleased with our 15 panel and battery system. All the DES folks from planning through to installation and handover have been friendly, professional and so helpful. I am amazed at how much energy is produced, even on cloudy days. I can thoroughly recommend DES.

DES have installed a PV system with battery for me. My experience has been excellent from start to finish. At the design stage they were very attentive and patient and provided options and guidance. The survey and then the installation were prompt (much quicker than I expected) and the workmen were skilled and friendly. I was particularly pleased with the attention paid to working out a good route for the cabling. I would not hesitate to recommend.

We found this company very helpful and knowledgeable and able to answer all of our many questions about our solar installation. The fitters were polite, efficient & tidy throughout and made sure we understood the operation of our system before they left us. So far we are very pleased with our installation and our choice of DES Renewables to do this work for us.

Jason and the team at DES installed a new Victron system for me. They worked very hard ahead of time to design a well balanced 9kw system and the prep work paid off with an incredibly smooth 2 day install. The on site crew were professional at all times and made short work of a complicated install. A few minor niggles on the way through was inevitable but they were all resolved quickly and courteously. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

DES and their products couldn't have been better. From start to finish the install has been super stress free and had very minimal impact on us. We went to 3 companies and found DES to be the most informative with the best all round offer. We have a battery and panels and haven't looked back.

Our solar panel installation was great from start to finish. Easy and stress free. All staff from the office workers to the actual installers were all polite and extremely helpful. The installation was done quickly and cleanly, especially the electrician who was working in the house, constantly cleaning up after themselves, you wouldn't have known they had been here, any small hiccup (more to do with our property than there installation) was dealt with quickly and professionally.
After care has also been great, quick to reply to emails and only a phone call away to help with the technical side of working out the app etc.

From the first contact to the last DES were patient, knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and supportive. The PV installation team were excellent as were the electric engineers involved in the Battery/Eddy installation. We had a slight techinical hiccup with the setup initially, but they responded quickly and the technical support engineer visited us late one evening to make a couple of adjustments to the system and since then everything has been running smoothly. I would definitely recommend this company.

The surveyor who visited my property prior to the install was very knowledgeable and flexible in accommodating the positioning of required components to compliment the overall aesthetic.

The installers were also polite and professional and employed direct rather than sub-contracted. This was a big part in the decision process.

The solar array looks better than I thought it would, has a great yield, even on these current January gloomy days and thanks to the installation of an iBoost, I'm getting solar heated water for free.

The team also provided advice and guidance throughout the process which has given me the confidence to operate and take advantage of the system. I have been in contact post install with a few queries and feel genuinely respected.

Without doubt DES are an excellent company to deal with. From the first telephone call contact we had with them whilst trying to decide which companies to get quotes from to the final part of the installation everyone we interacted with were very professional and attentive to detail. Our initial thoughts were turned into reality with excellent design work and the installation teams both on the roof and inside on all the "electrics" continued to the highest of standards. The ops and support side of the organisation are also slick which when taken overall makes for a cracking company to deal with. If we were starting out again we'd have no hesitation in ordering another solar system from DES. Nice One Team!

Excellent service from DES Renewable Energy. I was kept informed of progress, and the installation was timely, even though the roofer had to install panels in the pouring rain! DES have also helped me with the application to my energy supply company to enable selling power back to the grid. The price was exactly as stated, with no hidden extras. I'm very pleased with the service from DES Renewable Energy and have no hesitation in recommending the company.

From our point of view a complicated installation, including a car charger. Handled very efficiently, and always available to answer questions after the event.

Now just need to see how much we save by generating our own power!

Excellent company - we decided to have solar panels fitted in November 23. After doing much research, we decided to enquire with DES Renewable Energy. Following a very detailed quotation and explanations from Richard, there was no pressure on us as we then made our decision. We liked the fact they were a local firm and all the team worked for the company rather than outsourcing .There was great communication throughout, they were very quick to set up installation date, and the whole team were very friendly and helpful. The panels are working brilliantly, even in this winter sun, and we are monitoring them using a very user friendly app. All in all an excellent experience.
