Avoid Detomaso Watches – terrible customer service and chaos
I bought a Detomaso watch in 2024. After an accident the glass broke, and I followed their instructions to send it back for repair. From that moment everything turned into a nightmare:
• The watch got “lost” in their system.
• I was promised a replacement, then suddenly told otherwise.
• The repaired watch was wrongly sent to Copenhagen instead of Oslo.
• Later it was returned to them again without my knowledge.
• Finally, when they tried to send it with FedEx, it was stopped at German Customs because the original invoice was missing.
I have now sent multiple e-mails without any proper solution. There is no phone number to call, only endless e-mails with no real progress. The contact person I spoke with was friendly, but the company’s processes are completely inefficient and unreliable.
I am extremely disappointed and warn others: think twice before buying a Detomaso watch.

Believe me, this was not an intentional mistake on our part. We would like to do everything we can to make you happy. I see that you were offered the option of having the watch sent to you when it becomes available again at the end of November to replace the one you lost. We would be very happy if you agreed to this.

Awful Communication
I ordered my watch a week ago, despite multiple emails and inquiries I have heard nothing. Customer service is non-existent and their phone hours are hopelessly obtuse.
Hoping a review might actually prompt them to give me the time of day.
Don't waste your own time, or your own money. Judging by other reviews this is a pattern of behaviour they've made no attempt to change.
Update: There was apparently a problem with the order, and yes, the review did finally garner a response. I opted for a refund. And for the record, they stated they don't offer phone support. In complete contradiction to their website.

No luminova or supernova with charging…
No luminova or supernova with charging in the nordics with 20h of charging light a day. Very hard to distinguish the day in which we are living as the date dial is not clear. The wristbands has an easy to change system that makes changing wristbands easy, although they are very tight.
Designs are superb, but the glass will get scratched easily and it has so many reflections that you will rarely see the numbers.

I have two of their watches and just ordered a third. Always a smooth, easy transaction. All three times I've ordered, I received an email the next day telling me my watch shipped along with a tracking number. I always received them promptly, and the watches were beautiful and well-made.

Gorgeous watch, excellent customer care.
The watch is superb. It sparkles brilliantly in sunshine and the Miyota movement works flawlessly. Very well made.
I had a problem with the metal strap provided as it had a sharp edge. On contacting the company, they immediately despatched a replacement without me even requesting it. Can’t beat customer service like that!
I have my eye on more.

I was hesitant to buy from the internet, so was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the ARMONIA PURPLE watch.Delivery was prompt and the card packaging very neat.
Having compared the watch to much more expensive competitors, the combination of components, and selling direct is masterful, not to mention the unique designs which cannot be found elsewhere.
Indeed it was the purple which prompted me to take a chance on this watch.

There seems to be a problem with processing orders. No communication about where your order is or any idea of delivery times. Waited 2 weeks and heard nothing. Emailed but no response. If you are an online retailer you need to keep customers informed not leave then in an information black hole

Detomaso D10-White LE & D10 Nobile Oro
I have a Detomaso D10-White Limited Edition Chronograph and a D10-Nobile Oro Chronograph. They are both excellently accurate timepieces, and the Nobile Oro is a very elegant chronograph. I have received many compliments from my Motor Racing associates on them.
