Disappointing experience and lacking customer care.
I ordered a cream tea and pasty for my husband for father's Day, mid June, because his Dad passed away in January and I just wanted a treat for him, he loves both scones and pasties so it was going to be perfect for him. The hamper arrived a day early so it sat in our porch for a while but I spotted it first and popped it straight in the fridge.
Husband opened it on the Saturday and although the scones were very crumbly and in pieces and the cream had to be taken out of the fridge for a while in order to soften up to be able to spread it on them, he enjoyed his treat.
That evening I said you can have the pasty for dinner tonight, and he said what pasty? I took a look in the hamper and no pasty, luckily I had a pie I could cook for him from frozen... he loves his pastries lol.
I emailed the company and told them what had happened and asked if they could please send the pasty as he really wanted to try it.
I received an email from them back saying the orders are hand-picked so someone had made a mistake sorry, and that they would give me a partial refund, nothing about sending me the pasty.
The refund never happened, I've checked properly.
So the cream tea itself was ok, if rather bashed about, but we didn't get what I'd paid for and didn't even get the promised partial refund. All in all a disappointing buy that I had hoped would be a lovely surprise.
They've missed out on a repeat buy of the pasties as I'm not going to order a pack of something that we've not tried from a company that doesn't seem to care. Sad really, good customer service is vital in these days of online shopping.

I'd leave a zero-star review if I could. I ordered a hamper to be delivered for Father's Day, paying the additional cost for it to be delivered at the weekend.
Well, my hamper should have been delivered on 13th June, and I still haven't received it. I've reached out to the company several times, was told it had been dispatched and yet when I contacted the delivery company ( several times) they haven't received it at their distribution hub.
Was told I'd receive a refund, but after almost 2 weeks still no sign of that, Customer service is a joke, It took them almost 2 days to respond to a query sent via the Help section on their website.
If there were issues with dispatch, just say so, don't come up with unbelievable excuses and try and blame the couriers you use.
Just want my money back now.
Had previously had a lovely straighforward transaction with them last year but after this year's debacle I would never use this company again.
Disgusted is an understatement, that they think so little of their customers

Awful service….
Awful service….. ordered a hamper for Father’s Day and this did not arrive. No communication from company I had to chase them….. had to chase a refund several times….. no replacement offered. I have asked that this be escalated and have heard nothing back. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Great gift idea
It was bought as a gift, it's a great concept! Only issue was, it was delivered the day after my 'preferred' date and as it was a birthday, it wasn't ideal. I understand the reasons behind that though. All in all, easy to use website order.

Avoid this company. Failed to deliver! Fathers day hamper didn't arrive. When I emailed the next day to ask why I was just told "sorry for any inconvenience". No reason given, no message to say it wouldn't arrive or apology. Waited all day for it and fathers day ruined. Only after I contacted them did I get a response with a "sorry" email and a full refund. Shouldn't I have been offered a complimentary voucher or something? So disappointing.

Excellent brand, product and service
Easy to navigate website, great branding and delivered when they said it would be delivered. This was a treat for my Auntie who said the scones were fabulous and that’s someone who lives in Devon.
