DGA have failed in their primary role…
DGA have failed in their primary role which is to go out to tender at an early stage and to save the client money. There has been no friction but there has been no action either. We were told that all major building elements would be tendered- but in fact nothing has been competitively tendered. Ours is on ly a small job but we do not feel DGA have fulfilled their role as QS's and have failed to add any value to the build.
