Take responsibility! Bought a ring, when delivered NO GIA report. First answer: we will look for it. Second answer: it is lost, because of a location closed we lost certificates (SO CHECK IF YOU DID NOT RECEIVE A PHYSICAL COPY). Third: GIA only provides digital ones) Checked with GIA directly: incorrect. They stopped digital reports and proved my diamond should have a physical report.

You can check de GIA website or search for GIA stops digital reports.

Answer from DF: that is why the ring was offered at lower price, but the digital copy is just as valuable.

THEN WHY LOWER THE PRICE OF THE RING?! The missing of the physical report, the lowering of the price was nowhere mentioned. Not on the site, not the order confirmation and even their own employees did not provide accurate information.

I am offered a small discount and GIA data letter as compensation. All and all: my trust in this organisation is gone.

They are lucky my partner wanted this to be done, because I would have taken this to court.

It was a bit difficult to get a hold of somebody at the beginning. To be fair, it was in December and most likely it was a busy period. Once Sheila took on the case, things finally start picking up and I was able to order a beautiful engagement ring. The delivery was also on time and I was properly informed about the procedure.

However, the real issues started afterwards. After a week we noticed that the diamond was loose and shaking in its place. Turns out that it was not put correctly and not all of the claws were touching the diamond. We sent it back for repairs and resizing the ring. It was supposed to take 2 weeks, maximum 3. On the third week, we started asking about the process just to be informed (after calling them) that it was “repaired” but it did not pass the “quality check” and was sent back. Now after calling again, we are being told that it will take another week or maybe even another month if they can’t save it anymore and have to build another one. Alternatively, we can get our money back.

Obviously I proposed to my fiancée with this ring now and there is sentimental value to it. Just getting my money back is not really a satisfying solution and it’s hard to believe that the goldsmith can’t fix a ring. This whole process is starting to feel slightly sketchy and I wonder what kind of business I went to. I will update my review according to the outcome.

Update: they gave us a small compensation and everything is fine now but the overall experience and back and forth was annoying. They even requested us to pick it up in another city as if that’s a normal thing to do. I am happy with the ring which I got for a good price so that’s what matters in the end.

Despite on some delay on delivery, the earrings condition and quality is perfect! Very good product!

As a man buying present for my wife, it was challenging specially with jewelry. With this shop, it was way easier. Everything is pretty straightforward. You won't get confuse. The only issue I had was that during the shopping for my gift, I got too excited that I did not notice the delivery date easily. But since the jewelry is not pre-made, there is indeed a time to produce it.
