Absolute load of rubbish!
Spent over £1000 on the bed frame and ottoman storage box.
The bed turned up ripped on two panels and had no ottoman box at all.
Replacement bed parts when they turned up a month later were also ripped.
As it stands now, I have spent £1000 and have a bed that I wouldn’t have even paid £100 for the state it’s in.
This is the absolute worst company online and will be reporting them to trading standards and also the credit card company for fraud!
These beds are seconds! Do not buy!!!
As for the customer service assistant Elisha, she’s one of the worst people I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with! Rude, unresponsive and clueless!

Initially email from Elisha was supportive , admitted fault and organised a replacement through colleagues .......
but the colleague Adam left the company ! He gave me Tom south mobile and FB info but no reply ......
there is a complaints email which I contacted and they responded straight away at 10pm asking for order number !
That was Sunday evening and despite me contacting them every day since ..... nothing !
My bed is not what I ordered and is faulty ( the slatted base goes in a V in middle and causes roll together 😡)
Paid £500 plus just for the base ( no mattress )

Do not order from this company. Placed an order 8/5/21, order was acknowledged a week later and delivery promised within 3-4 weeks. Since then I have had no contact and no response to numerous emails. If I don’t hear back from my most recent email within 24hrs will be pursuing section 75 refund. Complete lack of communication has turned this from an exciting purchase to a huge inconvenience, I recommend avoiding until these issues are resolved.

On the 21/05/202, I order 2 beds at the cost of £2310.80 and still have not received it. i can't even get to speak to anyone about my order. i have send so much email and still waiting.i am looking to get a refund

Still awaiting out bed that was ordered 17th May. Was told 2-3 weeks. I have tried contacting but to no avail. If the bed does not arrive by the end of the month I will be forced to seek a refund and make a formal complaint
Broken bed
Received order after 4/6 weeks, side panels have broken in the middle due to lack of support the bed has.

Awful customer service, after 6 weeks the bed finally arrived, however we have two side boards the same meaning we can’t fit our ottoman gas lift, even if the sides were the same, the gas lift is damaged! Since the bed had arrived we’ve emailed 4 times each and had no response, we’ve also noticed that either their Facebook page has been taken down, or we’ve all been blocked! This company is a joke, I have been patient and not written a review, Iv been fair in all my emails but now it’s clear we aren’t getting anywhere, we will be getting in contact with trading standards and also looking for a refund, what a joke! After waiting 6 weeks for a bed it…
After waiting 6 weeks for a bed it arrived but can’t be put together as the sides need to be a left and a right because of the fixtures for the ottoman being on a symmetrical basis.the ottoman lift is also broken. No response after several emails and at my wits end now. I don’t know what to do?
No customer service - and no bed!!! What is going on?
I placed my order on line and this was accepted 30/4. Noting the information on their acceptance that the bed should be delivered within 4 weeks I have tried to contact them repeatedly by phone, email and using the contact form on their web site.....via the contact form Elishia mails to say I should have a reply within 24 hours.....absolutely nothing. Also, when you purchase you are given a log in name and password to view your order, worryingly my order says complete! I've not even received an email or phone call from Dickinsons, let alone the bed and mattress I've paid almost £1500 for! I'm contacting Trading Standards today.
Didn't send swatches and blocked me from messaging them
Didn't send the swatches I requested then repeatedly ignored my emails and facebook messages. I tried to chase them for a response again today and my message didn't send as they had blocked me! Absolute joke of a business.
Poor quality/terrible customer service
The bed took longer to deliver than advised (5 weeks)
It arrived faulty. I flagged this straight away via face book as this seemed to get a faster response than email or insta gram (many of which were blanked). The Facebook account has since been deleted or I’ve been blocked (unsure)
There’s damage to the headboard, the fabric for the base boards is really poor quality and already ripped in 3 places. And the gas lift pistons do not work. The bed also has a VERY strong chemical smell. It doesn’t have that new fabric smell to it. It smells Smokey and damp. Not pleasant. It came without any fire safety tags (these tags are usually standard for upholstered items)
The head board isn’t symmetrical
This bed frame was almost £900
My friend bought an identical bed for £300 from another site, received it in 2 weeks and the customer service was that good she ordered another bed from that company a week later.
I am very disappointed with the service and the quality of this bed. I’ve lost track of the amount of emails and msgs I have sent

They dont follow-up problems !
They sent bed side panels that dont match colour of headboard.
However, I tried three times NOT to give Dickinsons Beds a Bad review. I wanted to sort the problem out amicably, give them a chance to redress the problem, However, I give up, I emailed them, replied with holding emails. I emailed again ! , more emails, I rang, left voicemail messages, not returned. They have no contact telephone number to speak to a person. In the end nearly two-weeks later nobody at Dickinsons has contacted me. They trade on being a 'family' business, look after you etc, but actually dont do customer care when you need to replace an item. It seems to be a trend to sell, take money, but dont have any contact numbers to follow up. BBC One Show have had a feature on companies that take money but no customer after care. I am left to consider contacting the BBC? or legal action under Sale of Goods Act 2015? is their an ombusdman for their industry. What does one do when they wont reply ?? What can TrustPilot do? Ray
DONT BOTHER-ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE
Initially my order went smoothly, I received my sample and a bed arrived a few weeks later. Unfortunately the bed that arrived was the wrong bed, the wrong colour and missing my storage box. I emailed and again initially everything seemed fine, I received an apology and was advised that I would receive the correct order shortly. After 3 weeks I have contacted just for an SLA update but after a few days had not received a response, I have tried emailing again and attempted contact via FB but after seeing other feedbacks it would appear I am not alone in not getting a response. I have sent a final email chaser today advising that if I continue to be ignored I will be left with no choice but to complete a section 75 refund request with my credit card company for failure to deliver I will also be reporting the company to the relevant trading standards as it appears there is most certainly a trend of taking peoples money and not providing them with the goods.
I wasn’t planning to leave a review until the issue was resolved as I work within a customer experience QA role I’m a believer in providing a holistic review and allowing companies to fix any problems but I’m also hoping that by leaving a review I might get a response and if adequately resolved I’d be happy to amend my feedback.

Do not use this company, terrible customer service. No phone number to contact them and my emails are being ignored. We waited 6 weeks for our bed, it arrived and it was the wrong colour. They said they would replace it with in a week, four weeks on and still no sign. Emailed to cancel my order all together and organise collection of incorrect bed and had no response.

Ordered a king size winged ottoman bed. Arrived within 3 weeks. Started to put it up and realised there was a part missing.
Current situation is we are sleeping on the mattress in the shell of the bed.
Contacted Dickinsons beds by two separate emails. One, I was told they would get back to me and the second, I received a phone call reassuring me that he would chase up the missing part.
8 days later I have had no communication, even though I have emailed numerous times. A phone number would help.
I understand this is a small family run business, but customer satisfaction and communication is not their strong point.
A phone call or an email would do.
I dont even know whether I can send this bed back and get a refund or whether the missing part is on its way?

Received my bed today, very happy with it! Easily put together, everything fits in the right places. Was a little concerned with the lack of communication but overall very happy!
Received Bed with Broken part
Ordered a gas lift bed about month ago. Received it last Saturday but with a broken part. Trying to contact through msgs and emails of course no response. It’s been 4 days now. It looks like it’s a main part and we are half way to fix it. It’s an expensive bed. There is no phone number to call. Very bad Experience with my first order from Dickensons. Now don’t even know what to do. How to contact them? How to fix it ?stuck In the middle. moved to a new house and sleeping on the floor. On website they wrote all good stuff ( Response in 1 hour to emails). Family business , family service, we care. It’s a big lie on website. Don’t get trapped. Now I can see all bad reviews about the company. But it’s too late.

I ordered a number of fabric samples from Dickinsons with a view to purchasing a bed from them - unfortunately many weeks have elapsed and the samples have failed to materialise despite receiving an email confirmation they had been dispatched. It's a shame that an oversight relating to something so small has resulted in my inability to make a considered purchase and overall disappointment with their level of service. If they can't honour an order for fabric samples, how can I expect them to do any better with an order for an actual bed?!
