Still have not recieved my bed after…

UPDATE! Bed never arrived after 4 months of waiting and no contact from company, thankfully I paid by paypal and they were able to refund me.

Still have not recieved my bed after the time it was supposed to be delivered and no reply to my emails... I will be persuing a full refund if no one contacts me this week.

Do not order from this company

Do not order from this company. Appauling customer service. I am constantly being ignored by Elishia Ostrowski. I placed an order & was going to pay through Klarna in 3 installments. After 2 weeks of eventually placing my order though Klarna my payment was released back to me & there was no record of my order through Klarna. The previous link had expired. I sent several emails asking what was going on, my daughter has a broken bed & needed a bed straight away. Elishia replied after about 2 days to say she will find out & I heard nothing again. I decided that I was no longer going to buy through this poor company. After a week a payment goes out of my account with no contact from Dickinsons to explain what has been going on. I have emailed to confirm I no longer wish to proceed & to refund my money & I am being ignored!! Klarna can't refund until they are told by Dickinsons to & I am being blanked.
What sort of dodgy company is this!!! I will report to trading standards. Refund my money!!

Very Frustrated with lack of Communication

I have placed an order with Dickinsons Beds back on 29/03/2021 and i am still awaiting for delivery. Customer service was good at the beginning however when it came to around Delivering my bed, mattress and matching storage box there was little no no communication - level of customer communication is horrendous despite numerous emails sent even tried calling the contact number on their PayPal Account, still no response. Raised a dispute with PayPal for a refund as the bed, mattress and matching box has not be delivered.

Sold a faulty bed, very frustrating customer service

I purchased the Pompe winged kingsize bed. Received the bed but it was faulty, gas lift and frame not aligning at all. Seems to be the wrong part for this bed. Very frustrating that there is no phone number, emailed them and got a response after 2 days. Asked to send photos which we did, was promised to receive a call from someone last week and it never happened. Sent another email and no response.

I am very disappointed and at this point want a full refund but there is no way of getting hold of anyone. Very bad customer service and I hope that I do have my refund or I will be takimg legal action.

Terrible customer service, avoid Dickinsons.

Avoid Dickinsons like the plague. We found our perfect bed on Dickinsons website wanted to purchase it as soon as possible. We ordered samples to confirm the fabric was exactly what we wanted before placing the order for the bed. These didn't arrive so we ordered again to a different address and followed up with an email. Still no samples to either address or a reply. After 2 emails to Dickinsons they got in touch and said they would send again. Weeks later and still no delivery to either address or any further reply to emails. Following our review on Trustpilot they replied here (rather than a reply to my 4th email). Manager Tom said they would sort it out. Nothing arrives, another email to customer service and no reply or delivery. We have now waited so long for this company to sort themselves out we will be on a mattress on the floor until we order elsewhere. Really terrible customer service, don't reply to emails and just message here to make it appear everything is ok when it isn't at all. Dickinsons have wasted so much time for us and we cannot stress strongly enough to any purchasing a bed to avoid this company like the plague.

It's not how we usually operate being a family business as we always strive to give the best service possible, yet mistakes do happen.

Very frustrating experience

I ordered material swatches over three week ago so allow us to order a new bed. I have emailed 4 times since then (there is no customer helpline phone number), asking for an update on the samples and for them to be re-issued, which I was assured they would be. I have still not recieved any samples, and have wasted 3 weeks waiting for them. We could have ordered a bed elsewhere and had it delivered in that time, which is what is most upsetting.

I will be purchasing elsewhere and would advise others to do the same if this is a reflection on customer service when placing an order for an actual product as opposed to samples.

Hi i am sorry about this experience as we usually get them out really quickly, as you can see from the other replies in relation to the swatches we did lose some of the orders as they go through a different process to our beds.

We have since rectified this and sent out the remaining swatches.

Sold me a faulty bed as it isn’t level

Sold me a faulty bed as it isn’t level. I have sent numerous email which I get no response to unless I keep sending the same message. Strangely they seem to reply if at all around tea time. I am still waiting for a reply as they told me I would receive a call but never have. I cannot contact them by phone. I also had to pay an extra £180 as I ordered wrong size headboard, my fault but thought the added price was a bit extreme. Do Not buy from this company as the customer service is extremely poor.

Hi Julie, i have spoken to the team and picked up the email thread, this will be rectified and i will be paying for the replacement myself.

Personally and collectively, this service isn't tolerated and i will be making sure this gets rectified asap.

I will make sure to reach out to you as this has just been brought to my attention and all i can do is apologise.

As you can see from the other reviews we have collected in our first year and nearly 1000 beds later, we do try our best and we are always willing to rectify any manufacturing faults.

We are a fairly new business and sometimes things can take a little longer, not to mention our VOIP phone systems going down, i can only imagine how frustrating things have been but please rest assured i will do everything in my power to make things right.

Sold me a faulty Bed, wont repair or replace. Poor customer service.

I was hoping I wouldnt have to write this review, i was hoping Dickinsons would fix my issue but they just don't seem to be bothered; I used Dickinsons because they were a small family run business and being a small business owner myself I like to contribute to them wherever possible, this has turned out to be a big mistake in this particular instance. I bought a bed from Dickinsons which was delivered just before xmas 2020, a few weeks later my wife and i noticed we were rolling into each other, I placed my spirit level on top of the bed frame and noticed the middle of the frame dipped in the middle considerably (around 1.5 inches, without the weight of the mattress, and my wife and I) I reported the problem and sent images to Dickinsons, around 3-4 weeks later (mid-february) they sent somebody out to fix the issue, they applied a poor temporary fix with promise of coming out within 2-3 weeks with a permanent fix. It is now 10 May 2021, I have sent multiple emails and text messages, there are still no plans for my bent bed frame to be repaired or replaced. 5 months & counting.

Hi Kally, i wasn't aware of this at all until now and i can say with confidence this will be rectified.

I have expressed my frustration at the team on how this has being handled and i can assure you that i will be working with the team to make sure that it doesn't happen again.

As you know been a small business owner and working with family isn't easy and sometimes mistakes do happen and things do escape the net, i will be picking this up personally and making sure we either fix the bed or send you a new replacement. I'll pick up the bill for that.

I just want to express my apologies for this and i will reach out personally (probably tomorrow now) to hopefully fix this situation.

A 50/50 Review

I'm a little uncertain of how I would exactly rate my experience with Dickinsons bed, but I can leave an honest review. It began by my samples not turning up, and after waiting a few weeks I managed to contact Tom via their Facebook page and he went above and beyond to get the samples sent out next day delivery. The samples were good quality and colour so decided to make a purchase. As I had waited longer than anticipated for the samples, Tom also let me have my order for the discounted price I saw it advertised for when ordering the samples. Amazing!

Communication was a little slower than I am usually used to, however, staff were able to respond appropriately and answer questions I had well. Delivery was said to be within 3 weeks and it was!

I received an email to say my order was ready to be dispatched and I would receive a second email within 48 hours with a confirmed date and time slot. Again, no problems here. Delivery driver arrived between the given time slot.

The quality of the bed is again where I fall uncertain of star rating. For the price of the bed, I feel it is good. However, if you're wanting a high quality product I'm not sure this would match.

The bed frame is larger than the mattress, so it doesn't fit flush in the middle leaving a gap around the 4 sides between the mattress and bed frame. The lining on the inside of the bed is a different colour to the material I had ordered but can be seen in multiple places where the bed joins and on the footboard. There is a large gap from the top of the mattress to where the detail on the headboard begins. There is also a staple on show on the corner of the footboard which concerns me as the bed is for my 2 year old daughter. And finally, the bed slats just sit on top of the frame, moving freely, so my husband has had to drill them in to make them more secure.

Again, I would reccomend if you are after a luxurious looking bed on a budget, but not if you're wanting high quality.

Execllent service and good

The best bed I have bought so far, the bed was delivered on time with less packaging and assemble it was the easiest thing ever in just under 15mins you are done.

Lovely and quick service

I was searching for a new bed when I came across this site. They aren’t very well known but I cannot fault them. The customer service was amazing and they replied to all my questions within 24 hours as well as sending me some samples as I was unsure on what colour to get! The bed arrived in just over a week and was easy to assemble 😊 I am very happy
