Didofy Aster- very disappointing

The Didofy Aster is very compact, light and easy to fold, however my overall user experience has been very poor.

I got the pram when my daughter was 18 months old and on the first use realised that when you walk you repeatedly accidentally step on the break and the pushchair halts (this also happened to my mum, sister and husband when they used it). I decided just to bear with it and only use it in situations where I couldn’t use my icandy. I just walked in a position with my arms out stretched and a shorter stride until one day when it happened on the edge of the road and I nearly fell over the pram into the road. I contacted Didofy but was informed that as I was outside of my 14 day returns period they could not accept a return.

I then didn’t use the pram for many months, but recently needed to use it for a weekend away. However, due to the angle of the back and the seat, my daughter couldn’t sit properly and kept sliding down. She is only 29 months old and weighs 12kg so is within the age/weight range. It is now too uncomfortable for her to sit in.

I paid £275 for this pushchair, have had it less than a year and have used it around 10 times and can no longer use it.

This review has been a long time…

This review has been a long time coming....... Almost 2 years ago we stumbled across the Didofy brand and being a new parent to be and having so much choice in the baby market we felt lost and confused....
A friend had recently bought the Cosmos travel system and recommended it to me. It was the best choice for us. The big win for us was once your baby is old enough to sit in the upright pushchair it extends completely flat so they can sleep comfortably. And our son being quite tall for his age had ample room. We loved the window flap feature to check on them!!! All in all this was a perfect start for us.... We recently purchased the Aster 2.. it seemed like a great option based on other reviews as we intend to do more travelling abroad. The Aster 2 has exceeded all of our expectations and made our first holiday away hassle free with its lightweight frame and glides very well.
We initially didn't know how the transition would be for our son from Cosmos to Aster but I can certainly say Didofy know what they are doing here and have covered all bases! Great product!

Aster 2 is an incredible must have pushchair

We have just received our Aster 2 pushchair and it is amazing. It has far exceeded my expectations and I just wish I had bought one months ago. It has all the features I would expect and more (large canopy with window, storage underneath, lay flat seat etc). It is so lightweight and easy to fold and unfold while trying to manage a toddler. Despite it being lightweight it has a very luxurious feel to it and it very comfortable and spacious for my little girl (18 months old). The seat actually sits nicely as my previous pushchair was too reclined and uncomfy for my little one. It is so easy to manoeuvre both on pavements, in shops and out and about, the wheels are in line with the frame so you don't bump the wheels into things. It has made my life so much easier especially as I'm 30 weeks pregnant and got fed up of lugging a heavy and bulky pushchair around.

A cut above the rest.

A cut above the rest. Light and compact, yet sturdy and very smooth. From personal experience, the Aster trumps the competition (aka the overpriced Yo-yo) in all departments. Coupled with excellent customer service to match the product, there's nothing more to consider. Picky delighted customer.

A company like this is a rare find

A company like this is a rare find. Such exceptional customer service. I ordered the Aster pram and highlighted that I needed it for a specific trip. Once the company realised that the pram would not arrive in time for my trip (due to delays at the port) they arranged for a temporary alternative pram to be sent to me so that I would not be without a pram for my trip. Now that my actual pram is being delivered they are arranging for the other one to be collected. In addition the Aster pram itself is incredible. One button to unfold and collapse, collapses down so small you can fit it in an overhead cabin, very nifty, sturdy and also very comfortable - my baby seemed to sleep very well in it!

Perfect travel pram

Its the small things that we’ve found make the Aster perfect for travel. The one handed fold makes airport security a lot easier and being able to take the pram onto the plane (storing it in the overhead locker) made walking from the plane to baggage claim a whole lot easier. Once we were away we could tell its been designed by parents - the large basket, the magnetic cover on the hood to silently peak at a sleeping baby and the ability to open the sides in hot weather all help a day at the beach. The pram moves fluidly and feels nippy. The seat tilts with ease. The hood comes right down to shade the baby. I’d definitely recommend this to parents who like to holiday in the sunshine.

Great experience after a little effort

Review updated again to five stars. It took a little time and attempts to reach the right person to get the right support but when we got there wow! Literally the next day a temporary stroller was given to us, with the old one taken away for investigation/repair. Sadly it was not possible to repair it so they allowed me to keep the replacement unit. Top support in the end.

Review updated whilst the issue being investigated. Following on from the review, I received a call from a helpful chap offering to investigate further and fix the frame if possible! I'm optimistic!

We were gifted a Didofy Aster and for a few months have been happy with it. However, it's now broken and won't fold down. We have contacted support several times and they won't help us, as my MIL has lost the original order details. It's well within warranty, but surely the product code or something could help them locate the right transaction?! It's very frustrating as we wanted this model as we are going on holiday and it looked to be a great fold, but now it's broken we are stuffed!

Didofy cosmos bloom pram

Didofy cosmos bloom pram - At first I was more than happy with it, it felt light weight, easy to fold and looked lovely. After using it for a few weeks I noticed that it was definitely not suitable for rough terrain as stated by didofy. Infact you could feel every bump, even the little bumps on the road at a crossing felt like cobbles. This constantly woke my sleeping baby which isn't what you need. After less than two months of using it the handle on one side started to come loose and fall down intermittently. Not what you expect when you have hardly used it. Didofy have offered to replace the frame however I'm not sure I would buy a didofy again. The car seat is also a nightmare to get on and off the isofix base, very poor design. I am not one the moan, so I'm very unsure why there are such good reviews for this product.

We love the Didofy Aster !

We have recently purchased the didofy aster and we are in love!! I never normally write reviews but feel compelled to for this stroller. We have a 3 year old and 7 month old and so wanted a stroller that was compact, easy to use and lightweight - the aster covers all of these whilst looking great at the same time. Our 7 month old loves it and comfortably naps in it as well as it has a fully adjustable back which allows you to recline it to the exact position you want. It folds up so easily and is great for travel as fits into the overhead locker The didofy aster gets a massive thumbs up from a mum of 2 boys - anything that makes life this much easier is a YES from me !!

The best stroller we have ever seen!

We really like our Didofy Aster strollers and would like to share our thoughts! We first came across the brand from the stroller review by The Independent - INDY/BEST. It caught our attention because it was rated as the best overall compact stroller. Well, I have to admit, previously I was a bit cautious about the brand as I’ve never heard of it, but after receiving some helpful answers from their friendly representative, I might as well give it a go! (They always get back to me less than a day! Compared to some other big brands, which took weeks to reply for some simple enquiries)
Since we have newborn twins, we’ve bought two Aster at the end!

As the independent review suggested, the folding mechanism is the best among the numerous brands we’ve tried so far. It can be folded and open by using just one hand. It is also very well-built and extremely light. As the folded size are really compact, it can easily be popped up onto any overhand compartment. The colour combinations are very modern too, with bronze color frame and forest green seating.

We have taken our twins to Hyde Parks, hop onto trains and bus with this stroller with ease. At the end, Didofy even suggested us a type of connector that can connect both strollers side by side, which works perfectly!

Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the strollers, their customer support, and the overall shopping experiences! Strongly recommended!

The Aster - amazing pushchair!!

We recently purchased the Aster for a holiday with our 1 year old. I did lots of research and decided on the Didofy Aster after seeing the review in the Independent, it was the overall winner.
The pram is so easy to collapse, went in thr overhead extremely easily- I had to do it as my partner was carrying the baby as she was asleep, I managed no problem. It’s lovely to push, very sturdy.
It looks really stylish which I love.
The basket underneath is really big which is a bonus.

I’d highly recommend this product.

Didofy Aster - A travelling must have

After years of hassle travelling with a buggy, we acquired the Didofy Aster. A fantastic, flawless product which is easy to use, light, convenient, surprisingly spacious yet takes up no space. I did not quite believe how easily it would fit in the overhead locker on the plane but it did, with room around it... my only criticism is that they were not around in 2015 when we had our first child. Thank you Didofy

Great buggy for nipping around town and travelling too

Bought a Didofy Aster to use as a second buggy to have in the boot of the car, but we we end up using it more often than that because it’s so practical. It folds up so small and so easily with one hand, it’s brilliant. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a lightweight, compact and good looking buggy for travel or for use around town. It’s great value for money.

We were looking for a lightweight

We were looking for a lightweight, easy to fold buggy for our twins and we decided to go for The Aster. It’s the best decision we’ve made, it’s so easy to fold and we’ve managed to clip ours together to make a double buggy. Would give 6 stars if I could.

Best pushchair for 3 year old -didofy aster

Just bought this pushchair and love it after months of researching and buying 3 pushchairs in the process!! It has all the things I was looking for comfy/soft/padded seat, big sun canopy that goes all the way down, light enough to be easy to carry one handed down stairs while my son holds my hand and walks down, large enough shopping basket to put everything a 3 year needs for a day out, 1 handed fold, folds up to be relatively discreet in house, nice colour combo (not a cheap rose gold), handlebar rather than separate handles (much easier to steer), lay flat recline. It’s fab. If I were going to run my own buggy company….I would allow option for seat to sit tiny bit more upright (but my son is very comfy and is napping again) and add a tiny bit more height so it can be used well into 4th year.

Received our Didofy Aster today, must say extremely impressed. Very easy to use, light weight, comfy for the baby and easily packed away in the cupboard without taking up space. Very glad we chose Didofy, customer service was also very helpful. Highly recommend.

A great nifty pram

A great pram, ideal for nipping around in the City. It is light and nimble making it perfect to pace the streets of London and suspension provides a smooth ride for little ones. Also comfortable to push for myself and my partner who is 6ft 4. Would recommend.

Great Stroller, Great Company.

We ordered the Aster and we could not be happier. We were looking for a light stroller that's easy to use but also good quality. This is exactly what Didofy have made. With such a big main pram this smaller and lighter option is great for days out and travelling. I would highly recommended it.

Excellent customer service & products

Great item and the best customer service I have probably ever received. We ordered the Aster in Olive and explained we needed it for the weekend if possible. A member of the team phoned me to say that I’d missed that day’s pick up but they’d see what they could do to get it to me the next morning - and it was then personally delivered 9am the next day! They went above and beyond, and we are so grateful. Lovely personal touch. We also love the buggy!

Fantastic pram!

I purchased the Didofy Aster, after wanting a stroller, because my Oyster 3 pram is just too heavy. After a little mix up with delivery, which was soon fixed, it arrived promptly. It took two minutes to put together, which was just putting the wheels on and then you’re good to go! I purchased the Olive green with bronze frame, which is absolutely beautiful to look at, and I’ve had quite a few comments on it already. I wanted a magic fold stroller, as it would take me an age to put down and put up my Oyster 3. It folds and unfolds beautifully and easily, making it a dream to put in the car. Folded, it’s small and compact, yet this doesn’t compromise on style or sturdiness, and it has a handy strap to carry it, without the wheels getting on the your clothes. It’s a dream to push and is incredible lightweight. My Oyster 3 is 12.5kg and this is only 6kg, so a huge difference for me! The basket is spacious for a stroller and is more than enough space. The most important thing is that my son loves to sit in it and looks really comfortable. It lies flat, perfect for sleeping, but also sits up well, so little one can see the world. Bottom line, do not hesitate to buy this pram or from this company. Absolutely love mine!
