Customer Service and Damaged Parts

Customer service is horrible. Damaged parts or missing bolts on kits that Diesel ops won't cover they just put you on hold for days. Don't recommend!

Diego,

I am sorry to hear you had issues. When you called and stated that the item was damaged but instead of calling us and letting us get you a replacement you Cut the exhaust to short and that caused it to no longer fit. When a customer does this we are then unable to take back parts and do that. We attempted to work with you best we could but seemed that we were not going to be able to come to a resolution as we can not refund an item that we can not get back and can not see that it was damaged to then make a claim to get this handled. I do understand that things like this can be frustrating and can be a hold up. As for being on hold we did tell you that we were going to attempt to deal with the MNFG on trying to get that replacement part as that unfortunately means that we then have to wait on them to get back with us. I hope you understand why this went the route that it did and that we do our best to make sure the customer is happy and everything goes the way it should, but when a customer modifies a part for whatever reason and it then does not work we can not be held responsible for replacing the item or items due to that negligence.

Great customer service.

Customer service was great. Technician fully answered all my questions. The instructions they emailed me at the time of purchase allowed me to review everything before the parts arrived. Instructions were easy to follow, even though removing the EGR on a 6.4l is an all day job.

Great product great service

Fast shipping on my order. One of the parts didn't fit as it should. Contacted customer service and a new part was 2nd day aired to me. Good people as far as I'm concearned, all my business from here on out will be with Diesel Ops.

Good weekend Installation

The products were good quality and came as expected. At the time of the order Diesel Ops sent me the Installation Instructions so I could read them while I was waiting for the parts to ship to me. Not much for Instructions on removing the 8 exhaust sensors but you can watch a video on YouTube. Make sure you use lots of penetrating oil/spray on the lower EGR bolts for the long EGR pipe. These bolts will break on you! I started spraying them a week ahead of time and I still had to slowly work them back and forth with spraying in between working the bolts out and back in. I recommend slowly working these bolts before your parts arrive so you Installation will go faster. My bolts were still knurled after taking it slow with them. Use bolts from a different location when you put the new plate on. (The other bolts will have better threads left on them.) My only complaint is the smaller cooler lines come with a barb but no hose clamps and the factory uses a crimped clamp that is not reusable. Not a big deal if you have an Auto Parts store near you but I would recommend getting some ahead of time. You'll have lots of fun with the lower radiator hose connection. Take out the inner fender and have a Buddy on stand to help for a few minutes. The end product is very impressive and has a great sound with good turbo howl.

Horrible experience.

Product was suppose to ship within 24 hours. 2 weeks later, nothing. Still don't even have a tracking number. Item was promised to me over a week ago.

First off I want to say that this situation is a one off situation that should have never happened. We unfortunately ended up with the wrong end of the stick when something that has to be hand made when stock runs low. I have however gotten off the phone with them just a moment ago and they have resent it next day. The item had been sent when we spoke but looks like it had an issue in the shipping due to weather in the passing states. However the MNFG has promised a new one would be sent and would be to you tomorrow 3/15. I do promise that this is now how WE do business and that we do everything in our power to prevent any issues we can and any issues that are able fix or prevent we do and we will handle them.

Customer Service above and beyond.

Chis (x702) and this team went above and beyond to track down a shipping issue with the manufacturer. they also found a exhaust system and it arrived in 3 days while the rest were on backorder from jamo! give them a call and you're sure to find technical advice as well as support

Parts arrived on time but had pieces missing.

The initial customer service was great and speedy. Once the packages arrived, we started installation (Friday night). There were some missing pieces in one of the kits and the programmer power cord didn't work. After speaking with customer service the following Monday (not open on weekends), they credited me store credit for missing bolts and got me in touch with RaceMe for the new cord. The guys were very helpful.
