Product delivered on time. Easy setup and very user friendly… compared to my last cheaper one that i bought a year ago !! Digidash is quality !!

If you are planning to buy this box for using apple carplay / android auto wirelessly DONT! Everytime you get in the vehicle you get the same message "Failed to open wifi hotspot please enable it manually" you then have to manually turn it on about 5/6 times before it will stay on and allow the phone to be connected.

Customer support seemed a waste of time as the only answer response I get is "This is because hotspots can be very temperamental and do not always automatically connect."

This is the only reason I bought this device and was a complete was of money! Until this is fixed I will not be using the box.

Hi. I just like to pen down my experience with the product and the Digidash support. I gotten this Digidash device 2 weeks ago and first time connecting to my car, it doesn’t work. I had bluetooth, hotspot and even inserted a data sim card into it and tried it so many different ways and also on my other car too. It just simply doesn’t work. The connection is on and the video is laggy. There wasn’t any audio at all. To the point I had contacted the support that I wanted to return the device. John, the support team, whom handled my case was very friendly and he asked me to give it a last try by doing the factory reset.
I gave it a go and after the reset, everything works like magic. I was so happy about the product and it just gave me extra entertainment especially when I have long waiting time for my charging car!

Lovely little bit of kit... Had many questions to ask before i brought it and were kindly answered.. Come loaded with some apps, but signed into Google and added more apps i wanted.. Sideloaded my iptv app through Google drive so i can watch football if I'm out and about.. Would recommend to anyone looking to improve their android auto... It runs off of your hot-spot on your phone so be aware of what data you have, I'm unlimited data so not a problem

Don’t really usually write reviews but think this deserves one .The product itself is really good does what it says on the tin really happy with .I had issue myself with the screen size not matching my car as it was brand new ,got in touch with there help team which were really good an helpful they worked on an update which sorted out my problem,dealt with a guy called John who was really helpful an kept me updated ,definitely recommend this product an service

Completely useless.
Cannot use the radio while the android auto is on.
Only to be told today oh yer some vehicles won't let you use the radio

Best thing I've brought for my car for a long time. Does exactly what is says on the box. So easy to use and also at a great price. A+++++

OMG, mine arrived within 2 days and took all of 10 mins to get working in my Range Rover Velar... what a magic little box...put a SIM in it and now can view my cctv cameras on my house and also watch movies on netflix and prime...

Really good customer service. I'm not a technical person and they help me set up the product with ease. Really polite and quick to respond.

Update:

DigiDash reached out to me after my original review, and after I was able to verify my original order details they have kindly sent a replacement unit in the post. It was made clear that I had a gen1 version of the product which is why I was getting the issues.

They have since upgraded that product and the version I had purchased a few years ago is no longer in service.

Thank you to Digidash for a quick resolution and look forward to using the latest version of the device👍🏿

awesome experience having netflix in the car is something i never thought it would be possible.Super excited about this product

So I bought one of these digidash box of tricks hoping for a great incar experience. Unfortunately I am greatly disappointed 😞. Everything hooks up OK. I've worked out how the device links up to the WiFi on my phone and Bluetooth. Now the disappointing bit....netfilx, prime, Dazn, bbc I player all play video the problem is its not smooth..5g, or 4g it's all the same choppy playback. voices are not in sync with playback to the point of not watching videos anymore as it's frustrating. Tried all settings to try and improve this and nothing seems to make it better. So in summary I use the WiFi carplay function and that's about it..such a shame as I had high hopes for this product..

Not only is their product amazing but their customer service before and after you purchase is top class. Worked in my old car no issues and loved it… Had a small issue when I got a new car and they sorted it via the chat function on their site the same day. I would definitely recommend this product for long journeys with kids or just to access apps you want to use but can’t via regular applecar play. Don’t buy cheap imitations this is the best.

Had a small glitch after several weeks of happy use. Turns out the usb lead is one directional so needs to be plugged in the right way round. Quick email to support and all sorted with a quick response. Great customer service

after many months of researching i found out that this one was the best one out their so i wanted to give it a try it came 2 days ago and ive been using it with my hotspot its simply amazing looks great and it does everything literally everything i would advice you to look no further and to just get it i wasted months because i wasent sure yeah iam loving it so is my passengers

Got digidash 3.0 today tried it out set it up wire was short managed to place it elsewhere in car. I thought great seems good then the GPS was lagging apps crashing split screen not working tried to get in touch to tell them they acknowledged me at first asked why I wanted to return never told me how and then heard nothing else. Tried factory reset but needed a code that isn't in the manual seems like an expensive buggy piece of plastic that I would like to return and get a refund.

Avoid! Bought this item, and it's so poor. On every app, the words do not go with the mouths. Spoke to support to be told to just reset it and try again after that pointless exercise still the same. Now trying to return, but they expect me to pay return postage for a faulty item. When I advised its the law they have to pay return postage as its faulty now just not answering emails or messages.
