Very poor experience and feels like a con. Would not recommend or trust this company.
Waste of 30 minutes cancelling an order. Rip off, do not trust.

I've used Digi-key several times and know other people who buy components from them consistently. I have not had any negative experiences as other reviewers. In fact, my first order with them got lost in transit, and I needed the parts for work. I contacted them and they over-nighted me an entire new order free of charge and I was able to complete my project on time. Everything comes well packed, all components are in clearly labeled, thick plastic resealable bags. Their customer service also went back and forth with me in several emails to narrow down some parts that suited my application best. I will definitely continue to use them as they've given me no reason to do otherwise.

ordered something, my CC declined due to "fraud alert". Frustrating but OK, not digikey's fault. The irritating bit is that the *silently* canceled my subsequent order and require a wire transfer?!

If i could give zero stars i would. Wasted 1.5 hours trying to do an order leading to a rude phone call with a customer rep. avoid at all costs. Go to mouser instead you won't be dissapointed.

I made an error, called them ONE MINUTE after placing the order, but they didn't want to cancel it. They just preferred to grab my money for that order, but lost a customer forever.

DigiKey is very good! I did few orders with them. I am returning customer. Support works well. I can recommend this company especially because of SanKen products availability which is important for me. Sadly, at checkout the tax is not calculated and it has to be paid on delivery (USA - Czech republic, tax treaty available)

Prices a 16GB micro SD card at $29 and blames you for the error in thinking that you would be receiving more than one. Nobody in their right mind would pay that much for ONE 16GB micro SD card. Websites like Staples and Best Buy charge way less for the same thing, and better brands at that.

Will never shop with them again.

Great website and smooth ordering process. Items have been accurate and I've gotten always Genuine parts which I appreciate so much. I use to get counterfeit components from different stores before I started using Digi-Key. Thank you for the Quality!
So far I haven't had the need for customer service so this evaluation is for shopping and item quality only.

I live in Finland and the delivery was done in a week by UPS. The UPS staff was really slow to proceed with the TAX. Day after the delivery they sent me an SMS asking for my Social Security Code (what do they need this for?!). I sent it by email. Cherry to this is that it took over a week as they sent the letter from another country (Sweden) for some weird reason to my Delivery Address. The letter with the bill is a bit confusing also and the wordings don't match with the Finnish bank terms for paying it.

Really bad experience! I'll never order from here again. Customer service is a joke..

We have been using digikey more than 10 year and they have all kind of electronic and mechanical parts and same day shipment. We love their service and they also take very serious customer feedback.

Been using Digikey for over 10 years. Customer service is excellent and orders rarely have any errors. Shipping is fast and shipping costs are low.
Only issue is they revamped their WEB site and the new WEB site is currently a bit buggy making it hard at times to find parts I know they stock.

I absolutely love this company. Whenever I've had a problem, they've jumped right on it.

Outstanding. I've been ordering from them since 1975. Seriously.

Ordered twice from them over the last few weeks. I was a little sceptical at first that it would take time to get my order as they no longer seem to stock anything locally (in Australia).
Was I wrong. Both times I had my order in my hand in less than 4 days.
Aside from the outstanding delivery times, their range is extensive and their prices are competitive. Would not hesitate in recommending them.

This place is great. Overpriced on tools and wire unless you buy huge quantities. They do have great value added services like pre crimped molex pins. I would rather pay a dollar for a molex pin than 2 cents and a 500.00 crimper. That is value add. Anyhow, I have ordered a dozen times here and never had an issue. Also has the best selection of weird PIDG connectors like a Green with blue stripe 10g #4 stud lol.
