sizes of ingredient items are getting smaller and smaller over the years I have been using Dinnerly, to the extent that I often now have to top up with ingredients I have had to buy from the supermark... See more

All of our meals were great ! It's nice to try different foods and also have the recipe card to learn to cook from scratch.
I live the variety in the recipes and the quality of the produce and meat is generally better than woolies or coles. We do tend to get more peas than my family will eat, but other than that - we’re happy. It did take moving delivery days around to get the food on time.
Dinnerly provides tasty and I expensive food, but the lead time between order and delivery date is too long. If you had to go away for a funeral or into hospital you waste a box of food.
Also even though I advised I am gluten intolerant, and didn't complete my order a week before the delivery, so Dinnerly chose my meals for me, and one meal contained soft shell tacos which are not gluten free.

Gotta love Dinnerly for the ease of not having to think about what’s for dinner or shopping for ingredients, just select what I want and like magic a box of ingredients get delivered to my door. All I need to do is cook and eat.
For those not sure and time poor it’s a great option.
Great recipes. Easy to follow and very tasty. The price is also reasonable and the communication is exceptional
Great meal ideas tasty food. Good quality ingredients
Very happy with food boxes and I love if I forget to choose the week's meals they pick the low calorie meals for me! Easy to skip if necessary and no decisions about meals needed for 3 days every week! No brainer 😆
Easy to cook meals delivered straight to your door that require minimal dishes!! Super tasty, generous servings and,, quality ingredients. very happy customer so far!
Joined Dinnerly through an Everyday Rewards promo in Nov22. Didn't get the 10,000 bonus points until 8 weeks after signing up, and multiple emails requesting them. I ended up sending their invoices to Woolworth to chase them up. Unimpressed when the first delivery wasn't left at the door, but just left at the front gate. Subsequent deliveries were OK after complaint. The clever and copious marketing emails are a bit annoying. I liked cooking the food they delivered but may just go back to frozen meals as they are cheaper and require less effort.

Sick of sweet potato.
I know supplies are down but I live in Tasmania where you source the potatoes and there is no shortage, it’s easier for me to go to my local woolies or coles or local suppliers and get white potatoes
You Need the option to allow to choose to not substitute an item and instead just take out of pack.
I’ve got 12 sweet potatoes in my fridge which I will not use, such a waste

For the most part, meals are delicious, easy to prepare and varied.
Value for money.
Delivery is as scheduled and most of the time parcel is left in the specified place. Only hesitation in giving 5 stars are that occasionally the parcel has been left at the front of our property by the nature strip leaving it vulnerable to being stolen, the large tortilla have arrived broken and unusable, and the sausage meal was not very enjoyable. But, other than these issues we are very happy with Dinnerly and will continue our subscription. Thank you.
I like the recipes and never had an issue until 2-3mths ago. I now have issues with the delivery driver following instructions and leaving my box in the wrong place, meaning it gets ants in it, among other issues. Over the last 2 months, I have had 3 boxes not delivered and multiple boxes delivered on different days.
If the service goes back to what it used to be, I will continue ordering, but I'm seriously considering trying another company.
Quick addition based on the reply- I called everyday and they couldn't find my box and didn't get any solutions. I have sent emails and got no reply - the last email I sent was 2 weeks ago, and still no reply.

Reasonably priced, easy recipes with decent variety. I do think they should send you an email to select your recipes as opposed to auto-selecting them.
I have just had my Dinnerly subscription reactivated automatically by Dinnerly. I cancelled my subscription in May 2022, and have not been in touch, visited their website, logged in to my account, or spoken to them since.
Suddenly on 31st December, Dinnerly decided to reactivate my account (not sure why!!).
The only reason I know is that I received three SMS from Dinnerly (given that I received three I actually thought it was spam but I then received an email saying my delivery was scheduled for tomorrow).
This is completely bizarre and when I called the Dinnerly they had no interest in what I had to say, said I paused my account (randomly to the end of the year); which is a huge coincidence and no email was received to say that my account was reactivated!!
Please watch out for these dodgy tactics. The company is struggling at the minute but unethical practices will only damage your brand further. I will be giving you zero business in the future and recommending against you to all friends and family.
Response to their answer:
That is just a generic response that you send to all of your customers. I have spoken to your customer care centre and they offered no empathy or service at all. Apparently in mid-May I reactivated my account to start on January 1st (seven months in the future). I’ve lost $150 and they won’t provide any refund or credit. Hope someone enjoys our dinnerly box at an address I don’t even live at now!!
Also the fact you give out an American number to your Dinnerly AU customer reviews shows how little you care or know about your customers.

Customer service was unable to modify or rectify my order. Dinnerly and Marley Spoon communication goes to junk mail and ends up leaving the customer paying for meals they did not choose and cannot eat. Terrible service all around. Much better of using an alternate dinner box service

Extremely convenient way to get fresh meals. The ingredients are fresh the meal choice is amazing and they are 95% on point. The other 5% was trying new flavours which didn't work for us. There is no more wastage as you get exactly what you need. I did this as a trial and we are now 6 months in and still loving it.
Meals are easy to make with great taste. My only issue is I’m sick of the sweet potato. Tasmania has heaps of normal potatoes now and I hope you change back to normal potatoes. It saves me wasting money throwing out the sweet potato!
Things we’re missing from 1 meal and unsuitable substitutes in the other 2 which is very disappointing

Things that sets Dinnerly apart from the rest:
Portion size - I love the portion size of each meal, I have tried most of the other similar brands in the market but nothing beats Dinnerly.
Variety - the amount of selection they have on food is so good
Taste - my whole family loves everything on Dinnerly, it tastes so good
Convenience - So easy to cook in just under 30 minutes, I do not have to think about what to cook for dinner anymore, we all look forward to cooking dinner these days
This is the best money I have ever spent, I am saving heaps.
Easy to follow recipes. Yummy, healthy food. Haven’t been disappointed yet.
