Bought a controller for my son's xmas…
Bought a controller for my son's xmas in plenty time for delivery, did not turn up. Chased DPD who said parcel was damaged and returned to PlayStation. Tried to discuss with PlayStation on their chat and was told I would get a refund, I haven't then when I went back on the chat to tell them this they blocked my messages, customer service is a joke. I'm £50 down with no refund coming and will never buy from PlayStation again

The sender included only the postcode in the delivery address. Instead of rejecting the parcel and returning it to the shop, DPD marked it as delivered and provided a photo of a random door. We never received the parcel, and the DPD helpline refuses to give us any further information because they require the full address - which was never provided, as the parcel was addressed only with a postcode.
Made me wait at home for 8 hours with no calls or updates
Package was not listed as needing a signature until after i ordered it. I had to pull strings to have someone there from 11:45-2:45 which was the scheduled time. Around 3:30 the time was updated to before 9pm and i recieved no text notification despite having signed up for them. The packaged did not areive until almost 8pm. Forcing someone, without alternative or even telling them until the window, tha they must be home for a package within an 8 hour window, is disrespectful and ridiculous. I had to move several appointments at great difficulty to myself and others who i inconvenienced.

I have had the worst customer…
I have had the worst customer experience from PlayStation direct following issues with the delivery. They have consistently lied to me, manipulated me and denied me of my consumer rights.
DO NOT ever buy physical products from them. If anything goes wrong you will have a terrible time trying to get to a solution. They will not answer questions directly and they will prevent go as far as to not acknowledge some of the things you said because if they did, they would be admitting fault.

Black Friday ps5=disappointment
Bought a new Ghost of Yotei limited edition ps5–black on Black Friday. Received it by the next week. Console had two major issues—long connection time when turning on (literal minutes) and the disc reader didn’t work.
Chatted with support to get a new console, was told once I shipped it back id have it in about two weeks as processing takes up to 7 business days.
After them having it almost two weeks and me having to chat with ops who had no idea what was going on, my case got escalated and after a weekend, I got the confirmation that my new one would be sent out in less than 3 business days. As a Christmas gift, this is unacceptable. I understand it’s the holidays, but the quality control was clearly slacking, customer service was subpar. You’d think ordering from their direct site they’d care more about their customers, but they don’t. All I got was a “sorry it’s taken so long”
So now I’m out this gift, and it probably won’t arrive until closer to New years.
This whole experience has been disappointing and I hope no one else has to deal with what I did. Just go to a retailer if you decide to still get one.
Worst customer experience.
Truly the worst customer experience I have had. I purchased a new PS5 under a seasonal deal for Christmas. Delivery date was stated but never attempted, then automatically returned to sender. Terrible communication throughout from both the courier and Playstation Direct.
I had to chase both and neither could provide an explanation as to why I had not and would not receive my order. Even worse, PS direct could not provide any solution whatsoever besides cancelling the order. They would not honour the deal under which I purchased, meaning should I want the product I will have to pay full price and wait several days for delivery (if it ever arrives). Utterly disappointing and a terrible service.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE IF GET WRONG PERSON
Website ok, customer service could be a lot better, used chat line twice, first time the person I spoke to was uncaring and seem to be reading from a script, possibly holiday staff, but certainly needed re training,
Second time complete opposite, apologised, took time to answer my question, got feeling she cared and understood my frustration, came away feeling better.
Ps5 did turn up late but at least it arrived
